Loved the homely feel of the place the lovely grounds & the nice touch of giving us a bone for our dog who was also made welcome. We didn't get the chance to sample the food but the menu looked good. The bed was very comfy too. We would happily go back for a longer stay & will recommend Brook Hall to other family & friends visiting the area

The tv aerial was faulty so picture & sound was distorted & shampoo & conditioner was placed for shower users & difficult to reach when having a bath. Also not keen on the wooden stirrer sticks rather than teaspoons for the tea & coffee in the room.

Peaceful location,,spacious hotel and grounds, good sized clean rooms, lovely bathroom with jucuzzi bath...friendly staff. .After complaining about Tv not working , we did get offered ground floor room with TV and adjoining lounge area., There are...lots of comfy seating areas around hotel, also bar and games room, ... .Good breakfast, with buffet and table served cooked breakfast. Good value hotel

Hotel a bit far out from anywhere..Tv in room wasn't working properly, we did get offered another smaller bedroom with working TV ..this room had .. large adjoining sitting room with another larger tv , but sadly again this tv at times wasnt clear, .. Room bit outdated, and carpet not as clean as the upstairs room.

Beautiful property, jacuzzi bath was lovely! We stayed while there was a wedding on (we didn’t know) but it didn’t bother us too much as we had the games room to ourselves and it had music, pool table, darts and chess, table tennis, also a lovely little reading area, towards the end of the night we was so full up after a meal at the restaurant and drinks at the bar that we fell asleep and the noise didn’t bother us at all, slept through it! The bed was super comfy! And Eddie behind the bar was super lovely and helpful, breckfast in the morning.. the poached eggs! Wow gorgeous! And the Shef on the morning was full of smiles and happy to help, we would be super happy to come back and stay! Also the big cookie on arrival was a nice touch, and hot chocolate/ tea / coffee and glass bottles of water in the room.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before when travelling to the Birkenhead ferry port. The hotel is homely, comfortable, welcoming and the rooms spotlessly clean. The toiletries in the bathroom were nice and the room had ironing board, iron, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and we wanted for nothing during our stay. The bed was superbly comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. We ate in the restaurant and the food, as always, was high quality and the presentation very good. The menu choices were so good that it was difficult to make a choice as to what to choose for our meal.

There was nothing to dislike.

The location was lovely, out in the country, quiet and peaceful, yet only a few miles from where we were going. Lovely old building too. But the best thing was the staff, they were friendly and very helpful. Especially Eddie who went out of his way to look after us. He also seemed to be doing everything that night: reception, porter, maintenance, barman, waiter. Then he was doing breakfast too the next morning. He deserves to be made employee of the year! Huge thanks Eddie, you were a star ⭐

It's only a 3 star hotel, so a little bit lacking in some small things, but perfectly ok for one night. The only thing we didn't like was the weird hot water machine in the room instead of a kettle. But again Eddie came to the rescue and brought us the staff kettle from the kitchen, fair play to him!

Immediately after check in a guy called Eddie appeared, offered to take our bags up, see us to our room. He was the most efficient member of staff I have met, throughout a wide range hotels. Nothing was too much. Later that afternoon he was behind the downstairs bar and was similarly accommodating and super helpful; he even showed up to the pool room where we enjoyed a few rounds before dinner. He booked us a table for dinner and did frequent convivial hospitality checks, as did the other restaurant staff. Next morning, it was Eddie on breakfast duty. Again, nothing was too much and he had a constant smile. This member of staff is an absolute gem and I do hope this feedback reaches him directly.

The lady who checked us in upon our arrival was not particularly welcoming. No smile, no welcome. But as mentioned above - Eddie will make your stay fabulous and the standard of the rooms is extremely good.

The staff were very attentive and met all our needs nothing was a bother. The grounds were perfectly, peaceful and nature friendly. I just wish I saw some wildlife. The evening meals were all made with love. The breakfast was self-service, fresh and lots of it. Not far from Cheshire oaks shopping outlet.

Some guests were a little loud and drunk while returning to their room very late at night and had a lack of respect for others. The building was just what I expected but some parts needed some TLC but it didn't spoil our time away.

We booked an Executive Suite, however when we were taken to our room we soon realised that we were in a standard room. So my husband went & spoke to Reception and they were very nice and moved us to the right room, which was FAB! and exactly the room we should have been in. The bath was amazing. All the staff we met there were so helpful & friendly and extremely professional We are dinner there which although there was only one vegetarian option, it was still delicious!

The rooms could do with a little touch-up here and there and the lights in the jacuzzi bath didn't work but that didn't stop us having a wonderful relaxing soak

They've got beautiful grounds so we went for a walk after we arrived which was lovely. The bed was really comfortable. The food was gorgeous! We were welcomed really warmly and it was a lovely little getaway for us. We will definitely be coming back!

I wasn't feeling well after our evening meal, just because I'm pregnant so I had a lie down but when my partner leaves the room with the key all the electrics go off so I was left in the dark with the TV off but other than that no complaints at all.

The staff were welcoming, attentive and helpful. It’s a period property, with charming feature and sympathetically decorated. The room was spacious and well appointed and the bed as very comfortable. There are large grounds and it is situated in a quiet location, sadly it was quite typical Wirral weather so didn’t get to enjoy those lovely well kept gardens,, but will absolutely be coming back and hoping for drier weather to allow us to sit out.
