Location was spot on for the town centre, river right outside front door. Bed was comfy. Shower and bath excellent

We stopped for 5 nights and room service happened once. First day we left the 'please service' thing on the door, when we got home it hadnt been done but we noticed the sign was the wrong way round, so presumed we had put it that way. Second day we did the same but obviously made sure we had put it the right way round, got back and it had been turned round and no room service. We went to reception to get milk and toilet rolls and there was no problem on the third day and room service was fine. Fourth day, we put out the sign but room service didnt attend. This was not a problem to us, but I guess it could be for others. Didnt like the way the sign was turned round and felt this was a little underhand

Comfortable and clean - currently in midst of renovations and gave impression of being on the up. Dawn, on reception, was efficient and friendly. Central location, next to the river Avon, our room (the Baroness Suite) had views of the river and the park opposite. We were able to easily access the Medieval festival on Corporation meadow. Plenty of parking space which is free for guests, Dawn reminded us we could park until midnight on day we checked out by reregistering the car on the system.Handy for restaurants in centre of town.

A shame that dinner is not currently available.

rewlly lovely old hotel opposite the river - pretty courtyard and interior was lovely . Only stayed one night and didn't use the restaurant or stay at the hotel much as we ate out but the receptionist lady was polite and professional, we had a room in the courtyard area up some stairs . The room was small and quirky with old beams in the ceiling , bed was comfortable, shower was a bit temperamental but nothing terrible , only 5 mins ish walk to town centre /restaurants etc. I didn't have breakfast by husband did, he said it was fine , a little minimal but that's cos he's vegan and to be fair we didn't let them know that in advance but they still provided what they could .

nothing really , only think I can think of is some people might have had issues with the stairs that led to our room but we managed with a small suitcase ok.

The property is beautiful and very well kept. It’s obvious that work is being done. The layout is not complex and getting around to your allocated room is simple. I loved the room I had. It was a compact single room as I was staying just one night for work. For longer stays, I would definitely love to experience one of their suites. I had a very comfortable stay. Smells nice too.

I wish they had an elevator. I did not happen to notice one nor was I informed on whether one existed. I can’t imagine getting to the second floor with heavy luggage if I had any.

Very well located on the edge of the town overlooking the river. There is free parking on site. The rooms are spotless and the staff are very friendly. It isn't a buffet breakfast (which I really enjoy) but the food is well prepared and fresh and there is ample cereal and drinks to keep going back to. There's a bar which is handy but not used enough to meet other visitors, sadly. Good television service in the rooms.

The hotel restaurant is currently closed following their chef's departure which cuts out going down for an evening meal. This travel site makes you pay in full before you stay which I didn't like but, interestingly, if you book direct at the hotel you pay after your stay. Regular visitors may even get a discount. I'll do that next time.

Our room was comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the location suited us exactly. We were in Evesham to play with the band in the park bandstand, so the hotel was very accessible. We had the option of parking our car before check-in time which was very useful.

The bedding was a bit haphazard! The mattress protector didn't seem to fit the mattress and it became a bit uncomfortable during the night. The bottom sheet didn't fit over the mattress very well either .... but we managed! I would have preferred a shower rather than one in the bath.

The room was comfortable. It would have been nice to have bottled water available in the room. Breakfast was excellent, plentiful and nicely presented. The location...Absolutely lovely! A stone throw from the river, with swans, ducks and Canada geese. Very tidy park and pathways. The hotel has free parking for residents.

The Hotel is a large building. The room was on the other side of the building. lots of stairs and corridors to walk through.Up and back down to get to the room. it could be awkward with walking sticks or wheelchair users. But the positive side is it's lovely and warm with central heating and double glazed windows. Not sure about evening entertainment as only there for one night's stay.

Great location, very central and opposite the park. Good disabled access room. Good sized room, and clean apart from the shower base. Friendly, helpful receptionist cum breakfast staff.

No chef available for an evening meal. But the Blue Lagoon a couple of minutes walk away turned out a very good Indian meal. The bathroom needs a good spring clean, lots of ingrained dirt around the base of the shower. Ridiculously high hanging rail, great if you're 6 ft tall!

Breakfast was an extra £10.50 pp. It was OK but quite limited in choice. Our room had been refurbished and looked attractive. The bathroom was super.

There was no evening meal available due to lack of an evening chef. Very few people used the bar area possible due to no.dinner service. Little or no atmosphere in the public areas

Great location with ample car parking. Friendly staff, they booked me a taxi for my night out after having to ring around several taxi companies. I didn't book breakfast as I was going elsewhere so I can't comment on that. The room was bright and clean. Lovely outdoor garden area near to the bar, so I was able to relax with friends after my drive. All in all highly recommended.
