The hotel was situated in the heart of Broadway highstreet, although there are no parking facilites at the hotel, there is a long stay car park within walking distance to the hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and and the rooms were clean and bed comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, the lady that served us was so attentive and the full English breakfast was delicious.

The communal area leading to the bedrooms could benefit from some re-decorating, it needs a fresh lick of paint on the walls, but other than that the hotel was a lovely place to stay.

Great location at one end of the high street, so just a bit less busy than many other places. Customers were mostly local and the pub had a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Although the menu listed traditional pub grub, it was of a high standard and well- presented. ( Have the Mediterranean vegetable tart if you like that sort of thing!) The bedrooms were beautifully decorated in keeping with an old inn. The breakfast was plentiful , and the eggs SO fresh!

Can’t really fault anything- walls thin so could hear next door snoring at times is the only criticism. There isn’t a car park unfortunately so the pub advises to use the nearby Long Stay. This worked fine (£4 for 24hrs) as we had little luggage.

Location speaks for itself, on the high street of a beautiful Cotswold village. Loved the accessibility to the room which meant we didn't have to do through the bar etc or disturb anyone to let us in, were able to come and go as we pleased without worry. the room we had was a double at the front of the pub, very well decorated and Cotswold cottage theme, window on to high street, everything spotlessly clean. bath and shower in bathroom. Not the most spacious room I have stayed in, but that's due to the age of the building of course and was cosy not cramped. No noise head at all within room from other rooms/guests once the pub was shut and day trippers had gone home, the village is so quiet. breakfast was freshly cooked and fabulous. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend this as a Cotswold Village experience.

no parking at hotel so a tad annoying, but public car parks not too far away and not too expensive. Possible to get a space on high street when day trippers have gone home.

The warm and welcoming atmosphere, buzzing with happy customers. Our room looked out over the High Street with all it's lovely buildings and pretty white lights. Plenty of tea, coffee and milks, clean bed and tidy room. Owner and staff were really nice people.

The bed was quite hard, which gave us broken sleep but would be easily solved by changing the mattress to a medium soft, which would possibly suit more people. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Spacious room. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Handy location at the top of the village. Broadway is an expensive village and The Horse and Hound offers accommodation and food at sensible prices in comparison.

Noisy fan in shower room probably needs cleaning. No parking on site. In winter, if the garden furniture was moved to one side parking could be made available for guests only. The nearest car park is £4 per day.

The Breakfast was very good, the pub very clean and tidy. location brilliant a close distance from all the shops and restaurants.

The bed frame in room number 0ne was made from white metal and the joints all creaked when you turned over, I think the frame need mending or replacing. I passed my concerns to the staff in the morning they said they would let the management know. Parking wasn't easy as the pub has no car park or spaces for guests.

Breakfast was 10/10, lovely and freshly prepared, plenty of food. I would like to have had yoghurt available if possible. It was a little pricey, but I understand this is associated with the beautiful area

A small fridge in the rooms would be so useful, especially in the summer

Friendly manager(s) the bed was really comfortable with a decent mattress. (So many places go cheap or thin or old) A hearty breakfast with good coffee.

The lack of on site parking, not that much can be done about it. Although the positive is a little walk does you good.

We were there for a specific walk so the location was perfect in that regard, Broadway is a quit town so the Inns location on the main road was no problem, We were out very early and had neither diner nor breakfast at the Inn.

Its hard to make old building suit modern needs, The room is cozy/cramped, It might have been planed out better.

Nice overall: great location in Broadway (top tip: book restaurants before you go!) and really nice staff. Typical country pub, it was quiet when we stayed there (off season).

All was nice overall, maybe invest in a coffee machine :-)
