Ben and Michaela went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Our event was cancelled due to the bad weather, so they gave us access to their personal DVD collection, put some beers in the fridge and extended my Step mums stay so she could enjoy the event on the second night. They even offered to collect my husband from the train station! Such a lovely couple who run a beautiful guest house. Crisp white sheets and soft towels. Immaculately clean room, bathroom and guest lounge where fresh fruit and warm croissants are offered for breakfast. It’s in a quiet street with an easy, short walk to the village. We will most certainly stay there again and would highly recommend it to others

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival with a complimentary gin and tonic ! Michaela, the host, was warm and friendly and explained all the facilities - we even had the pleasure of meeting her gorgeous dogs. The room was very well presented, stylish and super clean. We stayed in ‘Rebecca’ which had a lovely countryside view and a great en-suite shower room. The breakfast/guest area had a fridge with complimentary yoghurts and extra milk surrounded by complimentary snacks and fruit. There was a small library in the corner and a chest of board games. Breakfast was amazing. We were expecting the usual continental offerings, however, there was an excellent cheese platter, warm croissants and rolls, toast with condiments and boiled eggs ! It was a feast !!

Ben and Michaela are amazing and fantastic hosts, starting with a welcome drink in their lovely garden at sunset right through to helping you with organising your trips around Fowey in every aspect. The big and comfy rooms have a lovely view overlooking the hills at the coastside. Breakfast is fresh and yummy, there`s a fantastic selection of warm croissants, Muesli with fruits or scramled eggs and more. The 10 to 15-minute walk from their house, that is situated in a residential area with enough parking spaces, into the centre of Fowey is a little bit annoying, especially uphill on the way back, but there´s not a really good alternative, as it is a small town, parking spaces are rare and the public parking spaces are as well uphill. Their three sharpei dogs are really cute and welcoming as well, the bed and breakfast is named after one of them, "Wellington".

What a fantastic stay we had at Wellingtons! Ben and Michaela were the most fantastic hosts - a great couple who were extremely helpful, kind and attentive. We even got to meet their 4 gorgeous dogs! We felt so welcome for the whole of our stay. The continental breakfast was glorious - lots of choice and all very high quality and prepared with care. We started every day with percolated coffee, fresh fruit and warm pastries! Everything is immaculately clean and decorated really well. The bedroom was very spacious even with the three of us staying in the room, the beds were so comfortable and the shower was very powerful. You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into every aspect of this B&B, from the books available to borrow, the selection of drinks in the bedroom, board games available in the lounge for rainy days, the themed bedrooms and even the music choices in the really lovely communal area. We only stayed for a long weekend for a wedding but can’t wait to visit both Wellingtons and Fowey again! Thank you :-)

The breakfast was outstanding. The location was perfect for us. Traveling by car and particularly parking can be difficult and expensive in the narrow streets of the centres of old Cornish towns. At Wellingtons there’s ample and free on street parking, yet the B&B is just a short 10mins walk from the beautiful centre of Fowey. Also, anybody enjoying a beautiful garden will take great pleasure in the host’s beautiful front and back gardens.

Fabulous place - as clean and tidy as you could hope for. Comfortable bed, clever decor (du Maurier themed rooms!), fluffy towels, nice choice of hot drinks and snacks available in the dining room. Good breakfast choices, fresh coffee. Pleasant communal dining/sitting room. All made extra welcoming by such friendly hosts, Michaela and Ben, for whom nothing was too much trouble.

Walking into Fowey was easy, coming back up the hill more difficult!

Lovely and comfy family room with bathroom. Ben and Michaela are very friendly, nice and very helpful owners. Room was very clean, fresh and modern with nice view from the Window. We will be back xx Ewelina, Bartek and Igor x

Very close to the Fowey city centre and beaches (around 10minutes walking) but way to back is hard for little ones because all the times the footpath is up to Hill.

The hosts were wonderful and and made us feel very welcome. The room was a good size and very clean. Breakfast was comprehensive, tasty and nicely presented. On street parking was readily available. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe.

The property is a 10 minute downhill walk to the centre of town. However, the return uphill trip could prove difficult for less mobile people.

Wellingtons is very comfortable & well appointed with every convenience & comfort you could require. The breakfasts are amazing and Michaela is very friendly & helpful. We enjoyed meeting her and the Shar Pei dogs. Our room “Rebecca” was spacious and beautifully imaginatively decorated. The location is quiet & residential with sweeping views of the countryside.

The property is very good - loved the sitting & dining room. The only very tiny negative is the steep walk to & from Fowey Harbour but at least we got our step count up 😀 AND parking is free & directly in front of the house. No weaving through the narrow streets...

I liked ghe hospitality,warm welcome. I felt at home. What a wonderful couple with 3 beautiful dogs . Loved my ensuite room,ao clean and loved the furnitures/style. The area was amazing and very close to Fowey Town and ReadyMoney cove .

Actually nothing negative to say. The only thing I disliked it was when I had to leave !!! I Would have loved to stay more !!
