Hotel was clean, and the room was large for our travel cot, and staff were extremely helpful especially helping us get our bags up the stairs with a 3 month old. Shower is amazing also in the room. It was near to where we needed to be, so location is good.

My only reservations were that the music was extremely loud, we were made aware Thurs night of functions and arrived Friday. With the baby, we would have tried to find a place elsewhere if we had known this but we were made aware after paying on booking.com. The music did stop at 11pm as promised but it was just an annoyance trying to settle a baby. We are fine with it but would have liked to know further in advance as I'm sure the functions would have been booked for a while. Food is slightly over priced in places.. £17 for a jacket potato is an awful lot of money.

We liked everything! Rooms, the Inn in general, garden area, play area and food. We were there for a party held in the field, the Inn came over well online, so we booked. This venue beats many four star hotels I have stayed in, chains and independents. We would all happily stay here again. The hotel caters for all age groups and the staff were exceptionally helpful with my grandchildren. For example, we asked if they could do beans on toast for my 18month granddaughter, both items are on the kids menu, but not together. They had no problem at all, so many hotels refuse requests like this.

Hotel lovely and staff very friendly and very efficient .. the restaurant runs like clockwork food very good portions , hot, and served quickly, waiting staff very quick and helpful…one girl in particular Mia was very good… Michelle in reception was very friendly when we arrived, and very informative in places to visit etc .was a nice touch .. the room was spacious with a lovely bed and bathroom en-suite .. very clean .. it was our anniversary and they made sure the flowers my hubby had delivered were taken and placed in a case in the room with chocolates and a card from the hotel team as well … would recommend this place highly .. the outdoor space gardens etc are lovely .. even had a bouncy castle and park for kids ..overall a beautiful place to stay with a beach within 15 mins walking distance .. entertainment just outside crazy golf etc food huts and a couple of shops ( the range ) etc a lovely place to stay and see nearby places such as Mevagissey and Charlestown ..

The meals were fab of an evening and staff also .. sadly the first morning breakfast didn’t seem the same standard, and the waiting staff, just didn’t have the same buzz as the evening staff.. but this would not put us off returning ..

- We've been to two rooms, the small one was perfect; the big one was really spacious but there was something weird with the floor that caused all the furniture to move when walking ;) - There was a weird fan-like sound outside all the time, but it stopped in the evening and truthfully - wasn't that annoying

The room was massive and so well-appointed. Really comfortable bed and massive bathroom. Lovely big shower and good quality coffee/teas in the room. The restaurant and bar are exceptional. The food at the restaurant was some of the best food I've had out in quite some time, at reasonable prices and great customer service.

The only negative I can think to mention is that the hotel is right on a main road, so we did hear traffic in our room but it wasn't loud enough to cause an issue and we didn't have to open the windows as the room was air-conditioned.

We stayed the night after celebrating my 50th birthday party in the marquee! It was absolutely fantastic, the staff were friendly and helpful , the party was amazing, we did run out of chairs , but this was quickly dealt with and we ran out of food which we were offered more ! Both of these things were MY fault , I underestimated how many people would come ! But the staff dealt with all this brilliantly ! The room was beautiful, so comfy , warm and very clean , the breakfast was first class , hot tasty and quick service, overall I would highly recommend the Brittania for anything ! The room was warm and big beyond my expectations. It was spacious for me and my family. The breakfast was good. The staff were polite and very interested in ensuring they provided good service. Very close to shops, and places of special interest like the Eden project. Highly recommended for people visiting Cornwall.

Nothing except the sound from the party downstairs. I can't complain about this too much because as an act of courtesy, a letter was left in our room explaining the party event. Moreso this is a Christmas party. The party ended at the time stated in the letter. But this will never stop me from using this facility in the future.

The food was amazing at the Britannia Inn & Waves, we couldn't fault anything. We had lunch in the bar, evening meal and breakfast in the dining room and everything was freshly made, and hot (a big thing for me) and it all tasted delicious. The food was served quickly and tasted amazing. We even came back for lunch the next day, even though we'd already checked out, just because we knew the food would be good!

Amazing breakfast - freshly cooked, local produce and huge portions. Helpful staff in the hotel reception and bar. Bar food was good value (I recommend the cheese board). A nice large beer garden, ideal in the summer. Our room was clean and comfortable. It faced the main road which would have been noisy, but the room has air conditioning so you could keep the room windows closed to the traffic noise which resulted in a good’s night sleep. The bathroom was very modern with a large walk in shower, but unfortunately the water pressure let it down. A large car park.

We had a lovely room in the top floor with an amazing bathroom, but the water pressure was dire, and got worse as the shower went on. The only way to improve the pressure was to only use cold water and no hot water. We did inform the reception staff who said they would look at it, and we made do for the 2 nights we stayed.

The hotel and room were excellent. The staff on reception and at the evening meal were extremely polite and helpful. The room was extremely large - I think I had free upgrade :) . The evening meal was wonderful and a nice selection of food and beer. Check out was simple and copies of invoices were ready and waiting for my departure. Again , different staff in the morning but just as good .

It was 100% 5* service and facilities and couldn't fault a thing....
