Fantastic location absolutely beautiful hotel spotless beautifully decorated we loved it from the moment we pulled into the carpark. Food was outstanding staff couldn't do enough for us and really friendly and welcoming. The young lad that greeted us was brilliant really chatty and a real grafter he never stopped all evening. It was ideal for a base for a few days walking we can praise the staff enough it's a credit to them all thank you so much we loved our stay with you X

There wasn't anything we didn't like the hotel is a little gem and will definitely be returning in the future.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Single room - well carpeted so little noise from bar. Comfortable mattress. Good shower. Very good breakfast. Off road parking adequate but a bit awkward. Easy walk into Settle.

The bedroom was clean but spartan - not somewhere you would choose to relax apart from the tv. Dressing table and stool not desk and chair. Ensuite was clean but seemed to have no extractor - there was a bit of a damp smell but nothing serious. At £88 a night, I felt this was a bit over-priced - guess that's a reflection of how few single rooms are available in country pubs.

The location in the Yorkshire Dales is superb. There are many activities for a variety of travellers. The receptionist was helpful, friendly and very professional. As I was escorted to my room Amelia pointed to a small fridge that had cartons of juice, milk and bottled water. She said please help yourself to anything in there, it's free. I really appreciated that. The single room was quite small, but adequate for my needs. The garden terrace was nice and was great on a warm day. Yes, it was one of those rare days of sunshine. The food and service was excellent. The breakfast was outstanding. A lot of options and catered for everyone's needs. I loved the recognition of the history of the Hotel. There were many photographs of a bygone age around the walls. I thoroughly enjoyed looking at them.

The location to Settle was ideal and was exceptionally quiet, clean and friendly. The Harts Head is under new management and you were made to feel welcome from the minute you stepped through the door. The room was very clean with towels, shampoo and body wash all provided along with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast has a good choice of cereals, tea, coffee and a good cooked menu to choose from, we both had the eggs Benedict and were more than satisfied with what we got. There is also onsite parking.

There was nothing to dislike.

Great room with its own private entrance from rear car park. This had been recently refurbished and was super clean and well appointed and included items such as a milk fridge. Comfy bed and excellent shower. I ate dinner in the restaurant and there was a new menu with interesting dishes such as flat iron steak, pork tomahawk steak and traditional desserts such as rice pudding. Food was delicious. I had eggs benedict for breakfast again all perfectly cooked. Staff all super friendly and helpful.

Very welcoming staff and a very dog friendly hotel including a welcome pack for our four legged traveller. Our room was great and had everything we needed including access to complimentary water, juice and fresh milk for your tea or coffee. The food in the restaurant was fantastic including probably the best breakfast I think I've had whilst away from home. We will definitely stop here again in the future.

The room we stayed in the bathroom was a little dated, but that is only a very minor point in an otherwise fantastic stay.

Everyone was so friendly and they communicated great as a team which is a breath of fresh air to see. The complimentary breakfast was Devine and set out great so all you had to do was come downstairs and sit down. The room was lovely and simple and the beds very comfy. Really had everything you needed and there is even a mini fridge with free drinks in on the landing outside the rooms which I thought was a brilliant touch.

The only critique I have is that a few of the plugs in our room were loose and a couple of the lamps didn’t work. That’s if I’m being fussy.

A fabulous hotel, situated just outside of the sleepy village of Settle. Plenty of on site free car parking. The room was very clean, warm, plenty of clothes storage and had an ensuite bathroom,with over bath shower, toiletries were also provided along with towels. Our room had a lovely view across the village. The hotel has a large garden area with outside seating - roll on the summer! The hotel is dog friendly, treats and water available in the bar area, dogs are welcome to stay as well. A hospitality tray with biscuits, tea, coffee, kettle was provided and a fridge on the landing had free bottles of water, juice and fresh milk to take as needed. The bar area was very well stocked with all the spirits, draught beers, bottled beer and wine you expect, very comfortable and a lovely atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and always available. Customer service was fantastic. We dined Friday evening at the hotel - large fish and chips and hotpot, both freshly cooked and nicely presented, service was quite quick. The hotel's location is great for exploring the area, we did Ingleborough and White scar caves - a must see and also Ingleton water falls, fabulous! Full English breakfast on each day for us, with a choice of cereal, fruit, croissants, juice to help yourself to. Breakfast was cooked to order, alternatives were available - vegan, and smaller portions. Breakfast was hot, good portion size and nicely presented, breakfast staff were very friendly and efficient. A fantastic weekend, more so as we were lucky with the weather! Highly recommended, Christmas menu looks amazing but we have other plans. We will deygi back to Hart Head . Thank you to all who made our stay so fabulous!

Would have liked breakfast to be a little later, maybe extended to 9.30am instead of 8-9am.

Modern room, comfortable bed, parking, pub food, decent and varied breakfast. Perfectly fine for a one night stay while we met up with friends.

Some noise from the pub directly above the bedroom. Quite a draft coming from outside straight under the door, so we blocked it with towels. Emergency night light was very bright in the darkness. A few of the ales were not on. Just being honest. No major issues at all. A good stay overall.

We had an excellent stay at the Hart's Head. We were warmly welcomed and throughout our stay all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The fridge at the top of the stairs with complimentary water, milk, and fruit juices was a nice touch. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and a very friendly waitress. We ate dinner in the restaurant both nights and it was first class with efficient staff and a nice atmosphere created by a good mix of locals and residents. We enjoyed the walk into Settle (going through Giggleswick then through a little cut to a pedestrian bridge over the roaring river Ribble) and we also liked wandering around the lovely village of Giggleswick which we'd never seen despite having visited Settle many times.
