They were friendly people and did amazing services to people, does good quality food, keeping place clean and tidy. Easy to get places even we didn't have a car. Bar - keeping people control by not having too much noise or being drunk and it's been amazing. People in bar were friendly too. Chef has done amazing with food! We loved the grab and go breakfast bag that they did for us when we needed to go places early.

There isn't anything that we didn't like. Everything was amazing and we had a great week there. Minor - the stairs were tricky to carry heavy suitcase up and down the twisted part of stairs. Someone might be good to help carrying cases up and down the stairs if it was older people. (I'm grateful for Liam carried my case up the stairs for me)

This hotel is great if you love dogs, and great if you don’t. My wife and me fall into the latter. We had a dog free room. It was exceptionally clean and the hosts do a great job. The location cannot be beaten with a fantastic view of Harlech Castle. We did not hear the trains due to double glazed windows. Liam did the most amazing breakfast so 10 out of 10. Piping hot and cooked to our different requests.

This is an old building, but beautifully maintained and the floors as you would expect slope a little. The bed felt like it was sloping just a touch, no big deal but an easy fix, hence this comment and not a criticism.

The room was wonderful and the location was very convenient. Not only was it easy to get to from the train station but our room had a beautiful view of the castle. We chose this hotel because the price was the best out of the options in Harlech and I expected a good hotel room but it went above our expectations! The room was clean and comfortable with water coffee/tea and even some little snacks. The owners were very nice and their dogs are so sweet and well behaved. (So well behaved in fact that we didn’t even know there were dogs on the property until we were checking out) Additionally the breakfast was excellent but I would opt for the small over the large as we had more than we could eat! :)

Nothing! The only trepidation I had with the property was the proximity to the train station. However we had a room facing the station and didn’t hear a single train our entire stay.

Liam and Rachel are the perfect hosts, incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much. The hotel has a great location with a view of Harlech Castle and right next to the train station. The rooms were clean, spacious and had lovely little touches such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the rooms along with little snacks and biscuits. There is a welcome book in the room which gives you all the information you need in and around Harlech. The food at the hotel is incredible, especially the breakfast. Generous portions, for a great price. Made our weekend very special!

Did not affect our stay but the stairs to the rooms are quite steep, so may impact someone who is less mobile.

The staff were excellent. They were welcoming and friendly. We booked an evening meal with them and it stated on the menu that they didn't provide desserts as the main courses were large (which they were!!). My elderly father has a sweet tooth and asked if there was anything they could offer. They said no but within a few minutes came back with a brownie, ice cream with a sauce! Beautiful views of the castle from the rear garden.

If being very picky a fridge in the room would be great.

I stayed two night during February, and found the Queens Hotel to be clean, comfortable and the owners to be very helpful and pleasant. I did have two evening meals which were very good, and breakfast was warm and enjoyable. Nice place to stay and can recommend.

The bedroom upstairs, are accessed via a steep set of stairs with a tight turn at the top, with a sliding door exit. Although I managed to carry travel bags up to the room, I can see some less able individuals having difficulty.

The staff were lovely, so welcoming and helpful. I really loved the experience of being in a pub with a couple of rooms and being taken care of. Breakfast was spot on, super hot and delicious. Dinner was easy, with the guys reserving a space for us before we arrived seeing it was such terrible weather to be going anywhere else.

It's a pub, there will be noise overnight. For us it was a doggie party with a lot of barking lateish into the night. We also had some issue with the water in the shower stopping around 7ish, I'm assuming it was because it was busy downstairs

We had a lovely, clean, bright room with dual aspect, looking out onto the garden and up to Harlech Castle. Wifi fine. Btw, great idea to have usb ports in the base of bedside lamps. Spacious windowed modern bathroom with large, soft, fluffy towels. Train station right next door, but no noise disturbance whatsoever. Both being from the area, Rach and Liam went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, giving plenty of advice on things to see and do. Breakfast was great - you can have just what you want, cooked to order. Evening food is proper pub grub - a variety of large portioned mains, or bar snacks etc... Although food isn't normally served on a Sunday, and restaurants in Harlech are quite limited, Liam kindly prepared a pre-ordered meal for us to have on return from our day out - much appreciated. The pub part of the hotel has a lovely atmosphere, dog friendly and appearing to have quite a mix of friendly locals as well as visitors. Rach and Liam have clearly worked hard to bring this place to where it is. Thank you both, we hope to return.

The weather was rubbish, but that didn't in any way stop us enjoying our stay!

Staff were wonderful, from the minute we walked in the door, cold and wet, till the minute we left, well rested and full of delicious breakfast. We had heavy bags and the stairs are steep and narrow, no problem, two pairs of hands to help us😊 Room was large, clean and comfortable, dinner and drinks were good and handy downstairs (sans bags😁) on a cold night. Breakfast was spot on delicious. Free Parking is a bonus. Liam, Rachel and Jago were simply lovely hosts. Thank you!

Can get a little noisy on the road out the front, but back bedrooms wouldn’t have this issue. AND other factors outweigh this, like being at the foot of Harlech Castle, our lovely hosts and their ability to make you feel good. Queen’s Hotel is very welcoming, thank you Liam and Rachel.

We had a fabulous overnight stay at the Queens Hotel the location was ideal our room extremely comfortable The hosts Liam and Rachel were very friendly and very helpful …and made our cavapoo very welcome too We had a lovely evening meal and delicious breakfast We enjoyed our stay so much booked to go back for additional nights in couple of months time looking forward to visiting and staying again Highly recommended
