The staff were so attentive and friendly great breakfast

The carpet in my room had not been hovered clumps of dog hair very visible. Someone had been to the toilet in the room and not flushed . Stair carpet up to our room was filthy.

What great place to stay, not just the hotel, but the area, everyone we met were warm and welcoming. The staff were all really friendly and made the effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The cooked breakfast is excellent and really sets you up for the day. We stayed 3x nights, but only had one evening meal there, which was well received by all four of us, good traditional pub grub. If we are in the area again we would be happy to stay there again.

We had 2x rooms one at the back and one at the front. If you’re a light sleeper the one at the front would probably not be good for you as there is a little road noise.

Booked a twin room for a friend, myself and a little dog. Beautiful location. Beautiful building and gardens. Stunning 😍 Off road parking. Pub/bar /food available at certain times, mainly the evening but ideal when returning after a day out. Clean, comfortable, well equipped accommodation. Toiletries provided. Fan in room, also hair dryer straighteners, iron and board, hot water bottles, shoe polish, tea and coffee, bottled water, kettle. All furnishings new/good quality. On local main road but cannot hear traffic when windows closed. Staff all friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast included. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Breakfast freshly cooked.

The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The car park was very good. it was possible to have my bike stored securely. The staff were willing to help in various ways. Breakfast for residents was served in a quiet room overlooking the front of the property.

There was quite a bit of noise late on the first night. When I had an evening meal, it was in the bar area with the door to the outside open. That meant that cigarette smoke drifted in while I was having my meal.

Every thing was more than expected very friendly staff. And service at meal time was brilliant both tea time and breakfast. Would recommend to any body .5 star service and place

The room was very spacious and the facilities were all very clean. The staff were amazing and so accommodating for us and our 2 dogs. The food was great and beds very comfortable. We will definitely be coming again. Set in a lovely area not too far from Snowdonia mountains. An absolute gem.

The only minor and I mean very minor thing,is that music from the bar area and garden continued until midnight. We were tired from alot of hiking so wanted an early night

Situated in a quiet location, you need a car to explore the stunning surrounding area. The cooked breakfast was fantastic and set us up nicely for the whole day. Free parking is always a bonus.

Our room (4) was unbearably hot, even with both windows open and the fan on. This wasn't a particularly hot spell of weather. Apparently room 4 is above the kitchen and laundry. The floor was so warm we thought it had underfloor heating! We ate at the hotel in the evening and I have to say the menu is somewhat limited, and the food served is not very nice. The Wifi didn't work. Some of the staff could brush up on their customer care skills.

Gorgeous B&B, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very cosy with a lovely view, we enjoyed an afternoon / evening on the sofa watching a film while the weather wasn’t great. Food was lovely at the bar downstairs and we really enjoyed our included breakfasts too, the service was spot on.

The only thing we found with the room we had booked was that the shower didn’t have much space, but otherwise everything was perfect!

Mattress was a little too firm, but that is personal choice as we have memory foam, it was not uncomfortable. Again, personal choice, but the duvet was too heavy for us. However, the large opening windows helped keep the room cooler!

Staff were friendly, breakfast was very good and they allowed you to eat breakfast outside as weather was nice. Bedroom was a little dusty, but well equipped. Garden terrace was lovely. We did not eat evening meals there, as we had these booked elsewhere on our stay, but drinks were fairly priced. Overall great stay and ideally situated for what we needed. This was our second stay here.
