The breakfast was excellent all 3 mornings we stayed there, plenty of choice aswell. The location was beautiful, peaceful and very accomodating. Deborah couldn't do enough for us made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We would highly recommend and will definately stay there again (next time we will take our car to get about). The only downfall was distance to Harlech train station or bus stop 2 miles away so if you hadn't got a vehicle then taxi would be needed to get the public transport as it was dangerous walking on a main country road with no footpath. Apart from that excellent stay.

Everything about our stay was perfect. We were welcomed by Deborah who made us feel like family from the start and Sally the dog supervised whilst we took our bags from the car. We were taken to our room which was spacious, light and spotlessly clean. Our room overlooked the garden and the view was beautiful. Breakfast was preordered which we thought was a great idea and an excellent way to save food waste. The dining room was relaxing, warm environment where we could talk to other guests and our host. Deborah was very knowledgeable about the local area and happy to answer questions and suggest local sights to visit. I cannot recommend this property enough and would happily stay there again.

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment of our arrival and throughout our stay. Deborah was very friendly and always happy to chat with us and give recommendations of places to visit in the area. The property stands in a lovely peaceful location away from town, but easily accessible by car and close enough to neighboring village for evening meal. Plenty of off-road parking available for guests. Excellent breakfast choice include, pre-ordered to personal preferences on preceding evening.

Beautiful setting and house, lovely rooms and decorating, and best of all-the most wonderful hostess you could ask for—Deborah is such a sweet woman and took the best care of us in all that she did. We really appreciated everything she did to make us comfortable, even giving us an earlier than usual breakfast so we could leave early, and doing our dirty clothes was an added, unexpected help we were very grateful for-would recommend to anyone, anytime.

This is really a hidden gem... excellent guest house in a peaceful location. Deborah is amazing. My daughter loved playing with her dog. I stayed with my family for 2 nights. I will plan another stay that will be longer

Hard to think what Deborah can do better. She may consider adding one or two picnic tables in her lawn. She serves excellent breakfast. There is no food option within 2 miles for lunch and dinner. Deborah requests not to have food in rooms.

Breakfast has outstaning - everything was freshly cooked to order and well presented and pleantyful. The dining room was very well laid out and inviting. The overall cleanliness of Gwrach Ynys was excellent.

There was actually nothing not to like about our stay at Gwrach Ynys. It was outstanding in every respect and I commend it to anyone without hesitiation. The views from the property were magnificent.

From the minute you arrive you know you have picked the right place. Set in its own grounds with plenty of parking. We were greeted by Deborah the owner and made to feel very welcome.. Our room was lovely with views over the surrounding field. The room was very clean and comfortable and the En Suite immaculate. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits were provided and replenished every day. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels replaced Our breakfast was plentiful with so much choice and nothing was to much trouble. I would like to thank Deborah and her staff so much for an enjoyable stay and would highly recommend Gwrach Ynys as a super place to stay when in th area.

From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome. A warm and freindly atmosphere in a tranquil location. One word would to sum our thoughts and stay ,exceptional. A remarkable host who ensures perfection is achived at all levels , with attention to everything we humble guests strive for.

We could not fault anything

We had lovely stay at Gwrach Ynys Guest House. The room and bed were really comfortable. The entire house was beautifully decorated. The breakfast was delicious but most of all Deborah was a wonderful host. Deborah was so welcoming and always had time offer guidance on the area. Specifically, she provided insights into local attractions, walks, and restaurants.

Booking: Easy Location: Quite, Lovely scenic area, with a load of sheep and rabbits around. Huge play area in front with beautiful flowers. Checking In: Easy The owner is a pleasant lady and gives good guidance and is very helpful and accommodating. Checkout: Easy Very clean room, Water for the shower was nice and hot, and tea and coffee were plenty. The room was big and cosy. No noisy guests. Breakfast was good too. Would highly recommend it!!!

Location: Not many convenience stores nearby. Would have to drive 3 to 4 minutes for a store and restaurants. Would have recommended having a microwave in the dining area to reheat food. One cannot have food in the room (Should not as the rooms are very clean and you may dirty the beautiful linen :) ). Adding a mayonnaise bottle and some bananas (for breakfast) in the kitchen would be a good idea. About an hour's drive from Snowdon train station. Keys: Old-style key to doors. Would have been better if 2 keys were provided or card key entries were done.
