The location was absolutely spot-on! 6 minute walk to Heacham south beach which is lovely. Chalet was small but perfect for us 2 and the dog. Everything we needed was supplied. We went to the breakfast area to collect whatever we wanted and took back to the chalet to prepare and eat. Fresh eggs were great. Whilst the site was pretty busy with Campers etc there was no noise to speak of.

The main room was lovely and clean but the bathroom could do with a deep clean - a few dead spiders and cobwebs around the shower area. However I do appreciate its a rural location and creepies come in through the window!

Hi Nigel, We just got back about a hour ago, it was lovely to have you guys have us on a short notice, The car park was definitely a challenge I do apologise for digging it up for where we parked, The room was lovely absolutely cosy and clean, the door wasn't the greatest especially at closing the lock seams to be catching, Was fresh, unfortunately the shower was to short for myself to get in but I am 6'3 Good WiFi, Myself and my partner would like to a sold 3.5-4 due to the shower and carpark and there was a massive sand spider in the bed, Will be happy to return in due course

Suited our circumstances and was clean, comfortable and the perfect base for what we wanted to do. The welcome and care/friendliness of the managers

Could not find any fault apart from the skylight over the bed which was great and offered lightness during the day but made it a little difficult late evening and early morning being too bright to either get to sleep and then to wake you up too early (don’t know if it would be too difficult to have some sort of means of covering- not nit picking as this did not detract from a fantastic stay)

Nice place to enjoy a few tranquil evenings, quite close to the beach, very well furnished rooms. The fine weather allowed us to seat outside in the evenings, relaxing after the day's activities. It is very quiet even though there is a camping site at the back, as the 'chalets' face an open field. The skylight above the bed may annoy some people, but we enjoyed viewing the stars and the occasional meteor.

As a disabled person, I found difficult to go to the breakfast room as there are no step free access from the rooms. However, you can fetch items from the breakfast room to your room, so it was not a big problem,

When we arrived we were greeted straight away, shown to our accommodation and given a run down of the facilities and surrounding area. We stayed in “The Churnery” which was a semi detached bedsit room which was lovely and far better than expected for the price. The place was quiet and peaceful only interrupted the following morning by the distant crow of the owners rooster. Breakfast was plentiful and varied with the lovely addition of eggs from their own chickens. The lady who runs the place was super accommodating to both us and our very needy Labrador and we had a lovely chat whilst hubs was grabbing some food from the continental buffet. We would definitely stay again.

The only very small niggle for me was the large skylight window over the bed in our room. I am spoiled at home with blackout curtains so this was lovely for stargazing in bed but not for 6am overhead sunshine when trying to sleep in. I would definitely say that it would benefit from the installation of an electronic blind however this could easily be solved by taking an eye mask to keep things dark if you are not an early riser.

Lovely qaint little place, we stayed in the self catering chalet, and it was great, small and neat every thing you needed , we had breakfast too with everything you could possibly want from a continental breakfast , it was a short walk to the beach right where the facilities were, we were disappointed we couldn't stay longer but we will definitely go back again, the only thing that we didn't get was a little milk so we could get a cuppa after our journey! We done to all the people that were in volved in our stay delightful.

We didnt have breakfast simply because we aren't really breakfast people Nigel was so helpful showing us to our parking space, room and services. The room was delightful cosy and clean with some lovely home touches, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and the skylight just added to it all with natural light beaming in, just a shame it was cloudy and raining outside so we couldn't see the stars. The outside was beautifully landscaped reflecting the seaside feel and the seating outside was perfect and encouraged people staying to meet each other, a very nice touch I didn't bring my dog this time but I certainly will next time and explore more, nice to have a beach in Norfolk that is dog friendly during peak season

Signage on the fence, it wasn't until i turned around at the bottom of the road to come back that I saw the sign.

Warm welcome by Nigel on arrival and shown to Misty. Stayed for 2 blissful nights. 2 adults plus Wilson the dog. Accommodation looked rustic from the outside, part of an old animal barn. Inside was modern, airy and light. Everything we needed other than a pint of milk as Tea, Coffee were provided. Bed was lovely and comfortable and we slept well for both nights as did the dog 🐾 Hand washes, shower gels, towels all provided along with biscuits and some cereals. Breakfast was included, short walk to get your tray and choose what you wanted, eggs which you cook back in your accommodation, orange juice, milk, a selection of Breads, crumpets, scones, pancakes, cereals and fruit along with condiments, everything you need, Genius I thought! Good size shower and plenty of storage. Short walk to the beach for the most amazing sunsets. The plan was to have a peaceful break and this totally delivered. I will definitely be going back! Absolutely loved it.

Skylight needs a clean but not noticeable at night

Location was just perfect, 2 min walk to Heacham beach, which was amazing, some times had the whole beach to ourselves (my dog and I) visited in early March and weather was mild. No tourists around. My cosy well equiped chalet was so comfortable and the bed and duvet were lush. Breakfast was continental. The place was in a farm complex, with cottages, shepherd's huts and these 4 studio chalets available to stay in. There are new showers, toilets etc for the small campsite being formed. The couple that run the complex are extremely friendly, helpful, and I really enjoyed my short break stay and recommend this site,

Lovely location, with a short walk to the beach. Accommodation had everything needed with some very personal touches to make you feel at home. Bed very comfy with plenty of fresh linen. Breakfast for self catering consisted of collecting items from kitchen to cook in your chalet, lovely fresh eggs and bread from local bakery, cereals, yogurts and a variety of spreads. Staff were really pleasant and more than ready to help with any queries. Would definitely go back again.

Typical British weather was the only downside to our stay.
