The room was comfortable. Breakfast and restaurant food were very good. Plenty of parking. Easy access to pool, sauna and steam room. Good water pressure in the shower. Community pool was good, as were the sauna and steam room. Good location with easy access to nearby beaches, Sandringham and Holkham Hall.

Staff at main reception appeared unfriendly and judgemental. The hotel looked dated. Bathroom decor appeared to be about 25 years old and looked tired. The other room we booked had an updated bathroom that was much nicer. Breakfast was not included and was a surprise addition to the already expensive room rate. Very little seating space around pool. Pool area was dark and uninviting.

Loved the space in the executive room we had, the fitting and furniture were very nice, ive seen reviews moaning about old furniture, they can't appreciate proper furniture, it's all solid heavy quality furniture, the bathroom had luxury fixture and fittings, the bath was fantastic, water pressure to knock you off your feet. We had a private balcony, can't argue for the price tbh, yes its a bit more than a standard room but the difference is worth the extra

My only gripe is the doors to the room make a massive amount of noise when shutting because the handles don't move on the outside when shutting unless you use your access card, so every other resident that was staying had to slam the doors shut in order to close them, I understand why they did this, but It could be avoided so easily and then you wouldn't be woken up from early hrs of the morning with doors banging shut. And believe me it's loud

Lovely spacious room, with good access to the spa, pool and fitness room. Breakfast with good selection. Staff responded quickly and very friendly.

The windows in the room were hard to close and one was unable to close properly. Without the good heating, it would have been very cold. We initially requested a quiet room but we were given a busy corner room on the ground floor, fortunately for us it was busy when we were out during the day. Otherwise, we would have requested to move. We enjoyed our spa treatments pre-booked, but didn't enjoy the pool and jacuzzi as it was busy with a wedding party and guests we weren't made aware.

Brilliant value for money with this property and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were super friendly and our room was really cosy and lovely!

The restaurant located on site was probably the worst food we’ve ever been served and there were a few people complaining also around us. The atmosphere was nice generally & it would be nice for drinks but I’d highly recommend avoiding the food at ALL COSTS. Not only was it pretty much inedible, it also took well over an hour to arrive, which is not ideal with a hungry toddler. I would like to note that the restaurant was fairly empty & staff didn’t ask us how the food was or collect our plates afterwards in order for us to relay our constructive feedback in person. Our feedback directly reflects the fab hotel and staff and not the awful food and service in the restaurant connected to the hotel.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I slept really well. Although I didn't need it, I appreciated the fact that there was an iron and ironing board available. Being on my own, I didn't feel comfortable eating in the pub, so booked a table in the restaurant. Nice menu and very good food.

Not a complaint but the details said I would be in a twin room with a bath in the bathroom, but I ended up with a double bed and a walk-in shower. Not a big problem but I do like a bath. I would have appreciated a better choice of hot drinks in the room. I don't like the taste of instant coffee and 1 or 2 herbal or peppermint teas would have been helpful, and perhaps a hot chocolate. Not sure if it was Booking.com or the hotel but I got too many emails encouraging more to upgrade my room and provide details for a faster check-in. It got a bit annoying.

Great room, choice of two excellent restaurants, decor and location. I arrived a bit early and hotel kindly let me check in early. Room was spacious, clean and functional. Lots of parking. The Staff were excellent.

Had a power cut mid in the room one afternoon, the hotel fixed this, but it should not have happened. Nearly had to change rooms, but didn't in the end. Was resolved quickly by the hotel. Room service didn't seem to bother with sauces/salt&pepper. Also had a 'blinking' light in the room hallway which needed fixing.

My wife and I are mature cyclists. We travelled around Norfolk using two Sustrans routes. We stopped at five different hotels about 45 miles apart. Each hotel traditionally catered for other markets. All the staff we met on tour were friendly and helpful and all were clean. The Knights Hill Hotel was busy as a wedding venue when we arrived and the staff were very busy so perhaps we felt a little underwhelmed with the reception. The evening meal was one of the best on tour.

This hotel is in brilliant grounds. Part of it appears to beset aside for biodiversity though I am not sure it is being managed effectively. It could be a brilliant additional resource to compensate for its large carbon footprint.

A great location, a lovely place for a rest and relaxation. All hotel staff were fantastic, great breakfast, ate in the pub on site and food was very tasty, room was a large size, bed comfortable but was a little tired looking, but not a problem.

Staff in the pool area were short of people skills, no welcome just “ Are you swimming’, had to ask for a towel, pool area is limited, only a couple of tables and chairs, if you don’t get them, your property goes on the floor. No jacuzzi working but was not told by desk staff, just had a cone placed at the entrance. Mens changing rooms are dated but clean

The size of the room and the bed were excellent. The room was well decorated if not slightly dated but that actually is to our taste to top notch! The swimming pool and gym were excellent and the meal at the Farmers over the road was very tasty. Great stay overall.

Windows were old and rotten in a couple of places as we were in the main part of the hotel. As we were situated near the kitchen, we could hear some noise in the morning but also smell the breakfast, so that definitely was a silver lining.
