Bargain price of £21 total for myself and the wife with free breakfast. The room was clean and warm, everything worked including good TV reception. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. No problems with parking at the waverley inn. The location is good with shops and restaurants etc and good road rail and bus routes to the area. Being retired we can take advantage when the hotel is at off peak season prices at any time of the year, so we will be back again for sure.

There was a lobby door kept banging as residents went back and forth late on and this in turn made our room door rattle quite loudly every time they opened and shut the door. Between that and the wife snoring disturbed my sleep a little, but I eventually got a very good sleep in the end, so nothing much to complain about really.

I've been to the waverly Inn many times, it's usually great value for money with a simple continental breakfast included. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and your very close to the bus stop and train station. We had a delicious tasty Indian meal in the restaurant just a very short distance from the waverly Inn. We will be back again for sure, Dingwall is a fine wee town.

I didn't complain, but in room 14 upstairs the TV remote had no on off button, we thought it wasn't working at first but it was easy to figure out how to switch it on. On this occasion there was no chair in the room, but I'm sure if I had asked the staff we could have got one no bother. Over all everything was fine.

The lovely friendliness of both staff, Jordon and Jackie, was exceptional - they couldn't do enough to help! The availability of lighting in the room was great with one set of 3 switches above both sides of the bed, meaning there wasn't the same faffing about with lamps on bedside cabinet. Switches were also inside room at door entrance outside bathroom, for bedroom and bathroom. £80 for the night was very good, considering the time of year. Met Jordon on arrival who I believe was ironing in the background when I arrived about 8pm. I met him again at breakfast time at 7.30am - does this guy not get a break????

The shower!! The part that holds the shower head had been installed to the wall the wrong way, as in upside down, which meant the shower head flopped down to be spraying water directly to shower wall. However at one point the water pressure enthused meaning that the shower head lifted high quite suddenly and sprayed water, high above the shower door meaning the the wall opposite had water running down. The mattress - a bit rundown and well used. I was exhausted tho' and slept like a log!

Breakfast was OK since it was free. Our room was lovely and cosy warm, it was clean, and everything worked OK even the TV reception was good this time. The gentleman at the reception went out of his way to make us welcome and said if there was anything we needed just to let him know. Dingwall is a nice little town to visit with ample shops etc. We enjoyed a lovely Indian meal at the Chilli Masala restaurant only a very short walking distance from the waverly Inn.

Nothing bad to say. We only paid £19, what can you get for that nowadays.

Nice budget priced hotel, staff are always very polite and helpful. Great value.

It's usually a nice quiet Hotel but on this occasion there was lots of noise from a neighbouring room, doors banging (very loud) and lots of shouting and rumbling noise as though someone was falling around etc. Shortly after we arrived I reported that the TV wasn't working properly, lot of the channels were pixilated and the TV appeared to have had slight damage to the top of the screen, but later I found other channels that worked OK and it was watchable even though the screen had damage so that didn't bother me.

The little gal at the desk was SO nice!! The rooms were clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and before and after breakfast, we went for a walk around the area and saw some cool things. The breakfast was "Continental", but there was a fairly large selection of things to choose from. The coffee was WONDERFUL!! 😁 If we come back again and need to stay in that vicinity, we will DEFINITELY go back!!!

I guess it depends on people's "picky-ness"! The hotel is an older hotel, so there may have been stains on the carpet and the bathroom door didn't lock, but we worked all those things out. I was pleased with the price, the beds, the breakfast and overall stay, but if you're a picky person and think you need to have all the amenities of the more expensive hotels, then GO THEM!! For what we paid, it was great!!

This hotel has recently been refurbished, the rooms and breakfast area are to a modern high standard, its very comfortable and genuinely pet friendly. Cleanliness and the high standard of the room accommodation were a big surprise, because out-of-date irrelevant poor reviews are lingering on review web-sites and no longer relate to the property as it is in April 2024. No problem with W-Fi which works well and is free The light buffet breakfast of cereals, toast and preserves, juices and coffee is more than adequate. Its a great stop-over just a few minutes off the A9, on threNC500, located in the centre of Dingwall and a short walk from some excellent restaurants. The Hotel's own web-site correctly reflects the current standards at this Hotel..

The owners / staff were really helpful and friendly. The rooms were modern and comfortable and perfect for what we needed. We walked to the local tesco and picked up a takeaway there was lots to choose from in just a few minutes walk excellent location to have a bit of a walk. Breakfast the next day was set up really well with lots of choice and a 2 hour window to eat. Great selection to keep everyone in the family happy. We managed to park just outside our room.

Nothing to complain about we really enjoyed our stay and it did exactly what we needed it to.

Staff were great, we had an early check out but they arranged breakfast for us. Location is very good, although we did not get to explore the town. Lots of parking space. All the facilities are there, the room was big enough, soft carpet and beds were comfy. The best value for money so far!!

While this was the lowest price I've seen in Scotland, the bed sheets contained some stains. They seemed to be washed, however, visually it gets you off when you see stains. Also, it was only soap in bathroom, but none of these shortcomings did not spoil the stay, I'd surely be back!

Great value, clean and comfortable. Close to shops and restaurants. Bus stop and train station very close to the waverly Inn. We thoroughly enjoy the delicious food at the Chilli Masala Indian restaurant very close to the hotel.

Everything OK this time. I've seen the breakfast being later than advertised on an odd occasion lately, no coffee/cereal/no milk etc possibly due to staff shortages, but when the staff are there they are always very helpful.
