Great city centre location close to the station, beautiful oak panelled entrance lobby, grand staircase with stained glass windows and very roomy bedroom. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The cooked breakfast was good, but there was no fresh fruit offered :-(

The bar was pretty characterless which was a shame as we had arranged to meet other family members there and it turned out to be a bit of a dull room to sit in (so we left). The bed was very soft, which is fine if that’s what you’re used to!

The location was great -- seconds away from the side entrance to the train station (and we visited in December so right next to a Christmas market as well). Staff very friendly and professional! The hotel itself is gorgeous and felt very fancy; we stayed in the Executive room for one night as a treat and it was enormous and felt so luxurious. It was great as well that room service was available as it added that bit extra of a luxury feel. Would definitely recommend to those who can afford it and would recommend to people looking for a nice experience over a weekend as we don't usually go for the fancier kind of hotel, but really enjoyed it this time. We stayed on a Sunday night when the prices were a little bit more affordable.

Nothing to say really! There was a bit of noise from the street but this feels standard for a very central hotel and didn't bother us at all. I would say the only thing might be the cost, but I would say you are paying for what you get and we were only staying for one night so it felt worth it to have a nice relaxing time.

Booked this hotel as we were wanting something that wasn't part of a chain and we weren't disappointed. Was offered an upgrade for a few £ more a night and glad we did as we got a split level suite with the bed upstairs and sofas downstairs. Everything was very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a selection of continental and cooked to choose from. All staff that we encountered were extremely polite, big shout out to Caroline and Joy on reception, for giving us tips on where to eat etc. If we're in Leeds again we will go back to Quebecs.

The bar kept playing the same tune on repeat! Poor barstaff would have been demented by end of shift. Apart from that nothing else.

The location is perfect as it is right next to the train station, which makes it easy to come and go if you plan to visit York or are coming in early/late. The staff is incredibly attentive and the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. I loved having coffee/tea/hot cocoa and water every evening. The cookies were a lovely touch, as well. The bed was very comfortable, the fridge was an excellent amenity, and the writing desk was incredibly helpful as I was in town for a week attending a work conference. The building is gorgeous with wonderful sitting areas, and if I am ever in Leeds or the area again, I will most certainly stay here again.

I dinged this review by one point just because I had an issue all week with a broken toilet seat that never got fixed. If the staff had been upfront (on at least two occasions when I mentioned it) that it wouldn't be resolved during my stay, I would have been understanding. In contrast, the grandeur and comfort of the room certainly made up for this slight inconvenience.

This is quite a splendid place in the middle of Leeds with a real history to it. We really envied our stay. The attention of the staff is exemplary and we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The upgrade offered was generous and enhanced our stay. Thus, the suite we had was extremely commodious and extremely comfortable. A quality welcome to a very good hotel. Thank you.

The breakfasts are rather dysfunctional. On numerous occasions our breakfast bore little resemblance to what was ordered and the tables for 4 are something of a challenge as they're only the same size of those for 2. The quality was also inconsistent for a hotel of this standard.

The location is ideal, a few minutes walk from the station, and all the staff seemed happy to see us again. (We have stayed there before.) We had a room upgrade to a most beautiful, large suite and that was much appreciated as it was our wedding anniversary. There is a lovely atmosphere in the hotel and the building has some beautiful features. Breakfast was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble.

We found the bed a bit soft, but that is down to personal preference. Everything else was perfect and our request for firm pillows was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Well done, Staff!

We were on a two night stay in Leeds to go to a concert . We were on a two night stay Hotel was fabulous, beautiful old character hotel, room and bathroom was lovely and spacious and spotlessly clean. excellent location to all areas of Leeds and train station Staff were friendly attentive and welcoming nothing was any trouble for them. Breakfast was great too. It's always a slight risk booking a city centre hotel but Quebecs was fantastic! It's a gorgeous building, really conveniently located next to the station in the centre of town. We had an executive room on the downstairs floor which was superb. Lovely breakfast in a cosy dining room on the 4th floor. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Parking is an issue - be warned! There are a limited number of spaces (understandable given the location) so expect to park in one of the (many) city centre car parks.

The hotel is close to the railway station and on a quiet road. It was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful providing all the information I needed. They seemed genuinely interested in making my stay as good as it could be. The bedroom was spacious and there was a reasonable supply of tea, coffee and milk. The bed was very comfortable.

I couldn't close the window properly but it was good to have some fresh air. I didn't complain but mentioned it when I checked out. I was surprised to be asked to a pay £50 deposit in anticipation of my using the mini bar or something else extra.

Lovely high-ceilinged room, comfy bed and quality “smellies” in the bathroom - I didn’t photograph the bathroom but it was an excellent wet room with good powerful showers. Very conveniently placed hotel close to the station. A tasteful conversion of an old building, retaining beautiful original features like the stained glass windows and wood panelling.

Nothing to strongly dislike but… Suppose you could say the bedroom decor was a bit tired. Other negative could be lack of vegan labelling/offerings for the breakfast - some vegan substitutes may have been available if one asked but it wasn’t obvious that they would cater with plant milks, plant based spread rather than butter, etc. (Hasten to add, I didn’t ask!) Vegetarian breakfast minus the eggs was very tasty.
