Location - great for city centre/castle/cathedral. Comfort - Bed was comfortable. Plenty of storage space for short stay. Bathroom - Modern and clean. Owner - Very pleasant to talk to and helpful. Check-in - Received a delicious chocolate brownie cake each to have with our coffee.

No parking, so need to use public car parks. They are located very close by so not really a problem and just £9.50 for 24 hours. However, on our arrival (Sat 2:30pm and middle of August) it was very busy and hard to find a space. Our schedule didn't allow us to stay for the Sunday roast, which sounded amazing.

on arrival there was a phone number in the window requesting we ring the phone number for the owner to come & let us in. I did this & he was with in within 10 seconds. The gentleman was very welcoming & friendly. He shown us to our room & provided 2 complimentary cakes. The room was spotlessly clean, modern & comfortable. There was not much of a view from the window, though that didn’t spoil our stay, we was in the room only to sleep. The bedding was crisp & clean as was the towels & the shower was very consistent & refreshing. In the room was a wardrobe, fridge, tv, hairdryer, kettle & complimentary tea/coffee/milk/sugar. The car park was 200 yards away, basically on the doorstop & cost £9.50 for 24 hours stay. Out stay included breakfast. The breakfast was very nice & clean. The Bronze Pig is very central to all the sight seeing areas, The Castle, Cathedral, shops, bars. Great little place to stay.

The room was very warm though we had the thermostat off, though on winter that will be a bonus.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed, with individual touches to the decor and fittings. The restaurant is very good and seems to have a name for fine dining with local people. Our host was very charming and helpful and the location was perfect for exploring historic Lincoln.

Breakfast choices could be a bit more extensive with a veggie/vegan full English option perhaps? For non-meat eaters like us there were really just a number of different egg based choices, with little or no garnish.

Check In took a few minutes only. Rooms are accessible 24/7 through a secure entry at the side of the restaurant. Greeted with a welcome slice of cake. Staff very friendly and gave a compelling sales pitch for the on site restaurant as well as recommendations for things to do while in Lincoln. Room and Bathroom were spotless with a large and powerful shower as well. Very relaxing.

No complaints at all, wish I had tried the restaurant but we ate lower in the city as it was convenient for us at the time we were hungry.

The room was lovely. Carpet was lovely and fluffy, beautiful curtains. The mattress was the best I've slept on in a hotel for a while. Breakfast was lovely although I wasn't a fan of the Lincolnshire sausages but hubs soon cleared them off lol!! The manager was friendly and helpful. The hotel position is great for the castle and cathedral. Car park very close and only £9 for 24hrs. Will definitely be staying again hopefully won't leave it 7 years til our next visit.

Other than the Lincolnshire sausages ( my personal thought ) nothing actually wrong with them. There was nothing I can say I didnt like.

The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities to enable me to have a gorgeous night in. My solo trip changed at the last minute and the hotel was very accommodating for this. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. The TV had all the best streaming apps.

The room was cold on arrival and took some time to heat up. Once we worked out how to heat the room up everything was great. I didn't check the restaurant open times so I wasn't able to experience the menu unfortunately. (But that was my own fault)

A pleasant welcome, room and bed comfortable (we stayed in hot weather, but a good fan was provided). Plenty of tea/coffee making supplies, and a small fridge was useful for cooling drinks (useful corner shop across the road). Fairly busy road outside - double glazing kept the noise down, but might be a problem if you're a light sleeper and want the windows open. Bathroom spacious and modern, with walk-in shower. Can't comment on food, as restaurant not open during our stay (we knew this in advance, and there are plenty of eating and drinking places not far away) but menu looked interesting and would give it a try if open on another visit. An easy walk to the city centre and cathedral (obviously you can't avoid the hills if you want to visit the lower part of the town or the waterfront) and very close to the castle entrance. Plenty of carparks nearby - cost about £9 a day, in common with the other council-run parking, although you might get lucky and find free on-street parking overnight. Overall we were well satisfied with our stay and would consider a return visit.

Nothing to complain about. Air conditioning would have been useful given the weather, but we wouldn't expect it in accommodation of this type, and the fan was good. See earlier comments re location.

Booked a room for Saturday night, but restaurant was full. A vacancy came up for dinner and I was called by owner. The rooms are very cosy and an excellent very large bathroom with a great rainhead shower. The restaurant food was quality and very well priced. Very good wine list and again the prices are quite reasonable. I've stayed about half a dozen times at various hotels in Lincoln, but this is by far the best place. We will be coming back.

The room and bathroom was spotless and very adequate. The breakfast was amazing with real sausages and bacon along with everything else and superb coffee

This is an older building without air con which probably wouldn't suit everyone but we loved it and will go again. I prefer an open window anyway so personally i wouldn't change anything.
