Excellent free parking. Very friendly staff. Ability to have as much free tea, coffee and milk for your room as you like. Bar and restaurant quite cosy and reasonable value. Early check-in and late check-out option (12 noon). Close to Baltic Quarter. Good Wi-Fi. Quirky extra: Bottle opener in your room. Green options like ability to have same towels and separate your rubbish.

No lift, we had to drag our suitcases up two flights of stairs to the second floor. No hooks in the room to hang up your jacket. No small towel in addition to the large bath towel provided. Card-only payment option (no cash) in restaurant and bar. Staff did not quite seem to understand the "green options", i.e. they did not take separated rubbish and also changed the towels every day despite us asking otherwise, but only a quibble.

Great location, my daughter was competing at her first British comp at the MS arena, the hotel was fantastic location we could walk to the arena in 7 mins, plenty of choice places to ear and the Kings docks. Shopping centre also a short walk. Parked on site, safe secure parking did not use the car in 3 days. Rooms tidy and comfortable. Cleaners were friendly and did a great job. Reception staff lovely, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too, great service and cooked breakfast we were spoilt . Worth every penny. Definitely recommend. . Late check out too helped after a long weekend.

My only gripe was the main road our room looked over the carpark and onto the main room, its very busy at night with lots of ambulances up and down, it was rather noisy but you did get use to it. I'd ask for a room looking over the water next time. I get you can't control the noise so it's unfortunate. Otherwise I couldn't fault the stay

Lovely view. Nice staff. Didn’t use the bar or restaurant. Bed was lovely, clean sheets and loads of towels. Three power sockets in the room, which was more than enough. Other reviews complained about lack of warmth, but the radiator in our room worked fine, lovely temperatures. First hotel I’ve been in where they replenish the milk, coffee, tea, and wash the mugs, do the bed, changed towels, bins, loo roll, hoovered, literally EVERYTHING, turned it into a new room every time we went out. Outstanding service, was unexpected and very pleasant to find.

The TV didn’t have many channels, and I do wish it was a smart TV that could access YouTube. The TV Radio channels were confusing - Heat was Capital, and Kerrang! was Heart, etc

Location great walking distance to city centre and Albert docks. Free parking, very clean, great location. Excellent value for money. Staff really welcoming and friendly. Liverpool has so much to offer in a city great, must do for any Beatle or football fan. Mersey ferry and liver building tours are a must do. City art amazing. Albert dock and Matthew street stunning.

Beds uncomfortable and rooms a little dated but then It’s not premier inn prices it’s a faction of the price. So if on a budget but want a lot, it’s prefect. Suited us for 3 night stay.

The hotel was great value in a great location for our trip about 15 mins from Docks. Reqested 3 single beds on booking and this was what we received. Chap on reception was friendly when we booked in and told us where to find our room, info on the bar and restaurant. Room smelt lovely on entry and lovely clean with good bedding and towels.Beds and pillows comfy and slept well. Breakfast was extra and a bit pricey but plenty to eat and drink. Would stop here again.

Could improve if larger toilet seat fitted and if I was being picky would like more sockets. Also bit of a refresh to decor and nets on window as we faced the road. Main light wasn't strong but 2 lights on headboard were alot brighter.

My recent stay at Campanile Liverpool left me pleasantly surprised. Despite the basic accommodations, the hotel's prime location made it incredibly convenient for attending an event at the Arena and exploring the city. While the rooms lacked some modern touches, the beds were surprisingly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Although there were some minor room amenities that could be improved, the overall positive atmosphere and excellent service more than made up for it. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future, as it offers great value and a welcoming environment.

We were going to a conference nearby and my friend booked everything. Then she said how she had read the reviews and they didn’t look good. There was wood chip wallpaper on the walls. However, it was only 10 minutes walk from where the venue was, so we didn’t need taxis. We arrived, there was ample parking, the staff were lovely, my friend has a problem with her mobility and asked if someone could help her get her case upstairs and a member of staff arrived within seconds. The room was lovely, really clean and the bedding was changed every day. The bathroom was lovely, with a really deep bath - again, new towels every day. I was really impressed by the noise level - or lack of it! When you got into your room , there was a door on one side where the bathroom was and there was a door on the other side. On a nighttime when you closed both doors, the room was really quiet, you couldn’t hear anyone walking up the corridor etc. The extra door was a ‘sound barrier’. Quite ingenious really! There was ample tea and coffee, tv worked, I didn’t use the WiFi. At the rear of the hotel, there was a garden with wooden seating and plant pots, it looked onto the Mersey and you could sit and watch the boats go by etc. The breakfast was okay, I had a cooked one, it didn’t have much taste. I like the fact that they asked you what you wanted, rather than ‘open buffet’ where you get your own and eat as much as you want. There’s no food-waste that way. We didn’t eat there on an evening, we went to the casino next door - they have a restaurant. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay. I would say the downside was that it didn’t have a lift, so if you have mobility problems make sure you book a ground floor room. So, in reply to a previous review, yes, it did have wood chip wallpaper on the walls in the corridor, however, you don’t sleep on a wall! The bedroom’s were comfortable and really clean. If I was going back to Liverpool, I would stay there again.

The breakfast wasn’t as good as it could have been - not much taste.

Friendly staff, decent size of room. Very close to the city centre and 5 Minutes from the arena which was great as our stay was based around a Gig. The price for the stay is absolutely unbeatable as well, we were really impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the place for the price!!

Mattress was very bouncy so did struggle to get comfy at times, but not all of them are like that so it's not really much to go off of! Only thing I did struggle with is that sound came through the window easily so you could wake up from the noises or the window cleaner lol

The hotel was great...right overlooking the bay! ...better views than many of the other hotels around there! I work In a hotel close to manchester so feel in a position to give it my honest opinion! - the hotel isnt fancy and is in need of updating but it was adequate, friendly, no nonsense and in a lovely location overlooking the sea. The price was also good for the four day stay we had. Breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were friendly and easygoing.

My only gripe was that in the Twin Room we booked the beds were painfully narrow which made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep for fear of falling out of bed!

Reception and bar area was great - clean and comfortable. Room was ok but far too hot and we were unable to turn the heating down so had to open the window which in turn meant traffic noise throughout the night. Good storage though with the wardrobe and drawers. Extra door was a bonus to the room door and bathroom to keep out noise and smells. The bathroom decor was tired and needed an update. Also the mattress was on a slope and meant it listed so all night you were sleeping towards the edge.. also needed more light . Location was great only a 5min walk to the centre. We were able to leave the car before we even checked in so a definite bonus.
