The staff were lovely, the rooms are clean, easy to check in
Just a shame you have to pay for parking, not much of a choice on menu and the toilet doesn't flush well, also no plug sockets by beds

Hotel was well situated easy walk to the docks on site restaurant pay in advance to get a discount on breakfast otherwise alot dearer, prices were good for evening meal good choice of things to eat.beds comfortable, loved that we had a choice of shower or bath tea coffee on hand kettle,TV very quiet though other quests were not very considerate when returning to there rooms late on. Staff very friendly and helpful
Only one negative chef was off sick one night and we had no notification after being out all day went back to hotel freshened up didn't want to go walking again wanted to eat in hotel restaurant only to be told when we got there it was closed I know these thing can happen and it's outwith hotels control, but you would think they would have an alternative chef or notify quests by email or collective text message

My stay was 24th - 27th December. Prior to my stay, the hotel staff team responded quickly to my enquiries about bar and restaurant opening times during the Christmas bank holidays. Upon arrival, the staff team were very accommodating and friendly. We arrived by train with bikes and were moved to a ground floor room to make storing and using our bikes easier, which we really appreciated 🙏😊 I booked a dockside room with a view of the River Mersey which I enjoyed - until the mist descended on Boxing Day! 😆 It was lovely to look out at the view when having my morning cuppa and relaxing in the hotel room. Our room was clean and had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay including a kettle to make hot drinks, bath & shower, hairdryer and good heating and ventilation. The hotel is centrally located for visiting family and local attractions and enough distance away from city centre bars and clubs to be quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep The hotel has a really pleasant, spacious bar with an outdoor seating area with a painted mural, fairy lights and a view of the River Mersey. The light breakfast and full English breakfast options were both good and set us up for an active day. The breakfasts also had vegetarian, gluten free and decaf options available. Check in and check out was quick and efficient and hotel staff were always available when we needed anything. A thoroughly enjoyable stay over Christmas. Thank you to all of the staff team. We’re looking forward to returning for our New Year’s Eve visit to Liverpool 🥳

Excellent, clean, comfortable with excellent location. Staff very efficient and helpful. Location beside the docks and just a 10+15 minute walk to city center. I was with my young son for a match and there was a Macdonald's and KFC just across the road if you needed something fast. Also the 500 bus from the airport passes by the hotel so that was super handy. All in all I would definitely come back.
Just a little bit pricey for what you get and also some sockets by the beds would have been handy.

Friendly staff. Clean, tidy and warm room. Reception area has great information area with not only attraction information but bus/train times. Good location, not far to walk to town should you want to walk. Easy to parking and pay, using QR codes on display. Also many other car parks near by.
Double bed needed to be slightly more central to allow full access to both sides of the bed, especially for larger folks. Stated there was a restaurant however menu more like barmeal menu. Price of breakfast a little steep and £3 more if you didn't book the day before. If all food cooked to order it shouldn't matter about pre booking however maybe offer a discount if you order and pay for breakfast for every day of your stay.

Staff were friendly and supportive. I had emailed to ask if it was OK to bring my bike to keep in my room (it was), but I didn't ask for a ground floor room as I assumed there was a lift. When I arrived I was booked into a first floor room, but with no lift I would have struggled to get the bike up the stairs. The receptionist was able to move me into a ground floor room, which I REALLY appreciated. The shower was really powerful and the bed was comfortable. Overall, a good base for cycling around the Liverpool area.
No lift to upper floors, but as explained below this didn't impact negatively on my stay.

The room was very clean and adequately maintained, bath tub certainly made for a relaxing time. Basic amenities such as coffee and tea were provided, as well as TV; however, we made use of none of them. The breakfast was good: buffet continental breakfast included croissants, sliced bread (fresh or toasted), fruit, assorted cereals and pre-packaged waffles. It also included butter and chocolate spread, 2 types of fruit juices, coffee and English breakfast upon order. The location was excellent for those who are looking at weekends spent at the conference centre close-by.
The room did not have any ventilation, or if it did, we couldn't find it. The windows were justly sealed for security (ground floor room); however, we noticed that after a couple of days, the air seemed a bit stuffy and the only way to air the room seemed to be to leave the door open. We might have missed the way to ventilate; but to be honest, it wasn't such a big deal.

Staff were really lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, even though I cannot eat pork but there were no vegetarian substitutes for the bacon and sausages. Bed was a large double and comfortable and room was warm. Shower worked after Liam came to sort out the temperature control knob!! Good access to the key areas we needed to visit.
Sadly, this hotel has really seen better days. It has the most ghastly 1960's decor in the bedroom and bathroom. The dinner options in the restaurant were very limited, and the veg soup tasted like canned veg with a cornflour thickened gloopy liquid and some tomato. The cheesy garlic toast was chees on toast and no garlic. Only one rather uncomfortable chair in the room. I sat on the bed at all times.

The property was very good, good car park even though very pricey. Not hooked on the food. Had sausages & mash. Sausages were old and dry. Peas were hard. Potatoes were mashed and dry. The waffle was hard. Best part of the whole meal was the ice cream and red wine. It’s quite a letdown for a restaurant. Ate out for the duration of my stay. The room was very clean. Only downside is the shower over the bath, bit cramped. Not good if you are elderly.
