This hotel has a lot to offer. Great location, very close to the Albert dock and Liverpool city centre a 10 minute walk away. A lot of food and drink in the bar/restaurant are although we didn't use the hotel for this. Staff are very friendly and work quickly. Fridge in the room (executive suite) was stocked with water soft drinks and chocolate which was a lovely touch. There was also a coffee machine in the room aswell as buscuits. Dressing gown and slippers also provided. I would stay again despite some small issues we had if the room rates where a little more in keeping with the actual rooms. There is a little fridge in the receptionarea stocked with drinks snacks and pot noodles if you get a little peckish once you return back to your hotel.
The room rates are too high in comparison to what you actually get. The room was clean enough but the shower curtain was old and had a lot of mildew on it. The air conditioning In the room didn't work so we did not have a good night's sleep which was nothing to do with the bed, that was actually really comfortable. The housekeeping staff are just lacking in a little attention to detail in my opinion. We paid £157 for night but I think personally it was too high.

The hotel is near the Wheel of Liverpool, the Beatles Story Museum and the Maritime Museum. The room was spacious. The beds comfortable. The conditioner worked well and we could warm up the room, which was amazing !!!!( it was 1 degree outside). It's really nice that we could have tea in the room!!! Thank you for this treat! The bathroom was clean.
We expected the view from the window to be on the Wheel of Liverpool side ( as it was on the picture when we booked). The room was clean in general, but the hotel staff should vacuum under the beds too. ( As the bed was on the wheels it easily moved and the carpet wasn't very clean).

The room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and plenty of pillows were provided too. The breakfast on offer is simple, though offers plenty of choice. Hot food is nicely cooked and is actually hot, it's also presented in not enormous quantities, so is regularly topped up, rather than sitting, allowing it to go cold.
The parking, while close, is a little further away than I would have liked... When the weather is bad, it of course seems even further away. The parking price has sadly increased; it is not £12 per day, it's actually £18, which took me a little by surprise, though it's not a car park operated by the hotel, so I don't blame the hotel for that.

The location was very nice, right on the docks. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. It was possible to heat with air conditioning.
We were missing a fridge in the room and there was little space to store/hang things. There was no light in the hallway. As other small things, I would mention that the window could only be opened very slightly, there were hairs on the wall above the bathtub in the bathroom and the toilet was placed in the corner behind the sink, so there was a very narrow space leading to it and there was a bit of a musty smell in the bathroom.

The room was spacious, clean and loved that 3 of us could be in one room. We didn't eat in the hotel, other than to buy pot noodles at 3am on return from a night out, which we thought was a genuis idea to have at reception. We did drink in the hotel bar which had a lovely ambience, very friendly. The location was great, walking distance to the centre and easy to find. Overall very happy with the hotel and will definitely return. When i checked in, a friend had already checked in prior to me arriving and the staff member called reception to confirm it was ok for us to join, that she was indeed expecting us. This is a good process. The door staff member at 3am also asked for our details to check we should be there which was great in terms of safety of persons staying.
Nothing we didn't like, there wasn't one thing to complain about.

Rooms were excellent and comfortable…staff were pleasant and friendly.. accessibility to shopping areas was excellent.
Bar staff couldn’t make a hot whiskey.. one of the best easiest cocktails! Eventually one bar man.. was shown by one of the party… we left at 5 am .. and had booked a taxi through a girl at reception….but the taxi never turned up.. (alpha) taxi.. not fault of hotel but I did ask for a booking ref.. never got one.. I gave my name number and e mail to a girl with blonde hair in reception.. it was the luck of god.. another taxi was dropping off so we took that.. also back exit door was unavailable to open as some one.. had forced it open the night before…. Morning of 23rd November… it was torrential rain…

We enjoyed our stay here! Everyone is very welcoming at the hotel the customer service levels where fantastic. The room we stayed in was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice , they have a variety off food you can have. The car park is very close to the hotel just like I was told in advance of the booking. The staff there are very keen to help in every possible way they can. The room temperature was good , it was nice and warm. The location of the hotel was great there are bars and restaurants close by and Liverpool 1 shopping centre is just minutes away. The Echo Arena is just around the corner from the hotel and the Liverpool Academy 02 Arena is around 10 minutes away from the hotel by taxi. The Ferris Wheel is facing the hotel it looks great when it's all light up when it gets dark.
I can't comment as we really enjoyed our stay here at Leonardo Hotel.

Location, friendly staff and relaxing ambiance
Small, rectifiable details. Seating in the bar area is full of marks and stains. My friends and I struggled to find seats that were not stained. We were given a room and when we entered it had not been cleaned. I must add that when we notified reception staff of this they were apologetic and gave us a different room. They also gave us drinks vouchers for the bar area. We left the room cleaning service sign on our door and returned from a day sightseeing to find the room had not been cleaned. Again, staff brought us clean towels and other requested items once we notified them of our issue.

Pleasant chain hotel located close to the M&S Arena and all the docks attractions. Staff were pleasant although there was a wait for a member of staff to appear at the desk where there was a queue waiting. Breakfast was good with proper gluten free choices - thank you. Parking is easy at nearby King's Dock and if you get your ticket stamped by the hotel you get a discount on parking.
Bed was rather hard but sill comfortable. If you're looking for a quiet evening ask for a room away from the ferris wheel outside. I had a room right opposite the wheel and I had music blaring from the wheel until 10pm. Not a major issue but I imagine some might find it rather irritating if you're looking for peace, especially if you like to have the window open.

Fantastic location if you are going to a concert on the Dock M&S arena, although I would expect the price would be hyped to match. That's not why I was there, though so fortunately I got a cracking rate. It is right next to the beautiful Albert Dock. Close enough to walk into town and the busy night life. The hotel rooms are a little dated compared to other Leonardos but clean and comfortable.
Most good but close by car parking is very expensive.. I had to change rooms on arrival, someone had clearly been smoking prior to my arrival and it smelt like a stail ashtray. The staff were very apologetic and allowed me to change rooms immediately.
