Lovely room, it was so quiet we didn't hear any noise from the hotel or from the pub over the road. Very pleasant and cheerful staff. Not too far to walk into the centre of town and the Albert Dock. Would definitely stay here again.

It ticked all the right boxes ; I was attending the BRILLIANT Festival at the Exhibition Centre and was looking for a place to stay that was competitively priced, but equally important was within walking distance of both the nearest Train Station and also the ACC Great location, lovely and helpful staff , spacious room, loved the decor/ theme of the Hotel. * I would definitely be back and have no hesitation in recommending the Hotel to others Guy on reception was fab and we will be back soon. * If not already in place, I would love to be able to find out more about the back-story of the decor inside the individual rooms. I've seen the Hotel has 47 rooms, I believe that it would be interesting and beneficial to showcase the individualities of the rooms, that's if each one has totally different sets of pictures on the walls etc.

I wasn't able to check in when I first arrived as there wasn't anyone at the reception desk or in the reception area. "My bad", I didn't venture too far away from this area to search for a member of staff at the time. This was only a small issue though as I spotted a route to the adjoining pub, "The Duck & Swagger " and made my way to pub. I enjoyed a pint of Guinness and some excellent company before making my way back to the Hotel reception to check-in later.

A well decorated and modern hotel in the centre of the Baltic triangle. Walking distance to Albert Dock. The Room was tastefully done with 90s themed decor. Clean and modern with a cute amplifier/ speaker styled fridge. Tea/coffee provided in the room. Staff were very friendly and attentive. A decent restaurant serving breakfast for all palates. And a decent pub next door. All in all a very good hotel right in the centre of Liverpool and near to where we wanted to go.

Maybe a couple of hooks in the very stylish and modern bathroom as there were 2 of us, so the radiator wasn’t enough.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was done with a smile! The room exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean, had a lot of space, really comfy bed, tea, coffee and biscuits, mini fridge, gorgeous bathroom with great shower and generally high quality furnishings. It was also really quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was good value and served to order, which we like. Not gourmet style but definitely tasty. We'll be happy to return!

On arrival we felt the reception area looked a bit basic and even slightly grubby. The breakfast area just off the reception was also a bit worn looking. Could benefit from some general refurbishment as it doesn't give a great first impression and certainly doesn't reflect the standard of the lovely room we had.

all the little touches of music refrences, the room mini bar fridge, glasses in the room, iron in the room, comfy mattress, a bedroom window that opens so we could have fresh air! Hot powerful shower. Staff are super friendly and helpful, interested in you and why you there. We really enjoyed our stay!

couldnt find where to turn off our bedroom heat. we like a cool bedroom so didnt get this as a choice and that would have been a real welcomed choice. Not everyone likes big pillows so a small & big pillow would have done this - I sleep on small so couldnt have this as a choice. Breakfast quality bit disappointing which was sad

The 3-beds room had such a fantastic layout - the sofa bed was located in an extended part of the room, and was a perfect private space for the 3rd guest. The room design is great as well - I love the rustic yet modern look. The room was well furnished too. The toilet is big and also well designed. Location-wise, it’s in a nice part of Liverpool that’s not crowded, yet it is still within walking distance from the city centre. It’s also near some great bars. Reception was very friendly too - a nice lady obliged our slightly late checkout without qualms. She was also chatty and struck a conversation with us when we were waiting for one of our group mates to come down from the room. Overall, would highly recommend. Great value.

The sofa bed didn’t have a blanket and although we asked for it before heading out for the day, it was still missed out when we got back.

This hotel is down around the Wapping area, which I always thought was kinda deserted and run down. Well not any more, there is lots of cool things going on, buildings bring renovated, shops, breweries, bakeries, cafes etc springing up. Good buzz. All of the staff we dealt with were local lads, friendly and helpful, the bar is cool, and the vibe is very hip, rock'n'roll, great band pics dotted around the walls (Velvets, Nirvana, the Cure, the Smiths), the fridge with a Marshall Amp door, black sink/toilet - very much to my taste, that's for sure. Lovely breakfast available too

There really wasn't anything, seriously. I am in my early 50s, and have stayed in all sorts of accommodation around the world over the decades....but this place will take some beating in terms of excellence

I booked this hotel as a gateway/birthday surprise for my boyfriend. I cannot put into words how much we enjoyed the stay and what a wonderful team they have at The Baltic. Firstly, location absolutely perfect, a 10 mins walk from city centre, so you can enjoy the city but stay in a more relaxed neighbourhood. A 20 mins walk from Line station but definitely doable and also a 5/6 mins walk from main bus station. Facilities are clean, rooms well equipped and immaculately clean, I loved that we could open the windows as is not that usual in hotels. Now the staff. They are absolutely brilliant, welcoming, helpful and you can tell they all really care about guests. For instance, I planned for balloons and cake to be delivered at the hotel the day before our check-in and the staff took care of everything, even going to a shop to fill in balloons as (disappointingly they had not come inflated). Once we got to the room everything was done, such a lovely set up. The team took care of the deliveries in previous day and just made sure everything was on order for the surprise. Paul at reception was an absolute star and without him I could have not made the surprise. Thank you team for the best stay! Last point, breakfast, generous and delicious with quite few options. All I can say is that if you book Tha Baltic you won’t regret it.

I made a last minute booking due to a cancelled sailing, and couldn’t have been happier with this hotel. Great location, and all of the staff I spoke to were lovely and really helpful. I had to hang around a bit before checkin and after check out and was able to do so in their lounge area. They also stored my bags while I went for a wander. The room was small but exactly what I needed after a stressful day. The bed was so comfortable I fell asleep at 6.30pm and slept right through till 7 the next morning. Genuinely so pleased with everything and will definitely stay again next time I’m in Liverpool.

Would have liked a (very) small side table next to the bed, but that’s being really really nitpicky!

Very eclectic, really lovely room with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. Great choice of breakfasts. Good value. Great light up mirrors (once we’d asked for the bedroom one to be charged for us)

The TV and WiFi reception was very glitchy. There could have been more storage for clothes, no drawers or cupboards, just a small hanging rail with two hangers so we had to ask for more. There could be some hooks on the walls for coats, towels etc. The bath had no shelf to put shampoo or a cuppa on, so nothing could be easily reached. No full length mirror.
