A nice, quirky hotel in a great part of Liverpool - Baltic Triangle. The room was funky and very nicely decorated. The facilities in room were good, soft towels, quality toiletries, tea and coffee making, a mini bar and a good selection of glasses. There was even a record deck in our room and a selection of vinyl at reception - if you haven't brought your own! The corridors of the hotel were wonderfully air conditioned - sadly the bedrooms weren't. The area is very close to bars, and cafes with the city centre a short walk away. We found it very quiet at night, no street noise with the windows open so would make for a good night's sleep. There is no parking at the hotel but there are car parks and street parking very close by.

We stayed there on one of the hottest weekends in June and our room was floor to ceiling windows on two sides with a lovely view up the street - normally a great thing - however with no air conditioning in the rooms it was unbearably hot. When we asked though we were given two large floor standing fans which were on 24/7 during our stay - quite uncomfortable for sleeping. The open shower only had a narrow width fixed screen so water sprayed out onto the bathroom floor - the floor and mat were soaked each time. More a problem for the hotel than us, but just mentioning it.

We had breakfast on one of the mornings and the choice on the menu was very good and reasonably priced (breakfast is not included in the price of the room). The service was quick and the food arrived very quickly and was very tasty. Located in the Baltic Triangle, it is a little way from the town centre but only a 10-15 minute walk. We really liked the location. Our room has been upgraded when we arrived and was very comfortable and furnished and decorated to a high standard. The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us and all the other guests. I booked this hotel as a birthday surprise for my husband and he was blown away and absolutely loved it and the music themes.

I could only find one small fault - the bathroom mirror was quite high and even standing on tiptoes I could only see the top of my head. My husband is 5'8" and he also struggled.

Room was so nice, lush carpets, plenty of space and bed was ideal, comfy and warm enough douvet with great selection of pillows (soft and squishy with one a little tougher) decent tea/coffee making facilities and mini fridge was so cool! Decent fan in the room as it dis get a bit warm and bathroom was spot on! 2 shower heads! The breakfast in the morning was tasty and filling! Had bacon and sausage barm which was so tasty. Also, considering we were above the entrance, we didn't really hear much noise from outside so was lovely.

Only comment there was really, is some of the panels had moved away from the sealant in the bathroom around the tub and shower pane, so just a bit of water escapage, could do with a lil TLC.

Very clean comfortable room; loved the edgy rock music themed decor. Staff were very courteous and helpful, although I was referred to a restaurant down the street that was closed!

Neighborhood was a little remote and kind of a longer walk than expected to major attractions at Albert docks, City Center, and area restaurants. To be fair, I may have noticed this more because my arrival day was very cool and rainy, and I spent a lot of time walking around in the rain trying to find a non- existent pass ticket validation office before walking to the hotel to check in. However, the hotel does serve breakfast ( I woke up too late to take advantage of it) and also has a bar off the lobby. There is a small coffee and pastry shop a block down Jamaica Street with very friendly staff which was convenient before starting out the day to tour Albert Docks.

Staff were very welcoming (tho tbf everyone we spoke to in Liverpool was!). Room was good size - liked the separate sleeping area to sofa area. Bed was comfy and blackout blinds did their job. Shower was great. All very cool and modern! ‘Pub’ attached was very convenient and great to be able to sit out in the sun! Good location - easy from station - quiet area but easy walking distance to city and docks. Accommodating in leaving bags before check in and after checkout.

Ah. Unfortunately the room was boiling - no a/c in room tho the corridors were nice and cool. Clearly an issue they’re aware of - big fan in room which we had to have in all night. Maybe we were unfortunate to experience a couple of days summer in Liverpool?

I really liked the punk rock vibe & my room had a nice airflow with the multiple windows. Also, I lucked out with having a semi-private extra door for just my room & the nextdoor room. The staff was very cool and attentive, and the breakfast was good, too.

My parents had a different type of room, and it was significantly stuffier. I think the radiator in their bathroom was always on, and they only had one window, which didn't help too much due to the layout. Also, this isn't a knock against just Baltic (it's a continental question): why do European bathtub/showers have a glass wall that only goes half the length of the tub? So no matter how careful you try to be, the bathroom floor will get soaked. And I don't remember this being an issue in the past (I've been to England, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Italy), but this year and last year in France, this half-wall thing is weird.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is quirky and retro and we got an upgrade to a superior room for a cheap cost. Would recommend superior room if there for more than 1 night ..it was much bigger and had two TVs and an extra bed .we.liked the location. We visited the Baltic market the first night which we enjoyed. We were close to Albert dock and city centre also. Staff were helpful and friendly

The room did get quite warm the first night perhaps as we were on the 5th floor ..there was no air con but there was a huge fan which helped .however apart from that I can't fault it. For the price it was great and I would go back

Very charming and fun hotel hotel. Folks on the front really approachable and helpful. Nice to stay somewhere other than a chain! Shower was good, everything clean. We stayed on a Monday night and it was so quiet it was bliss, no road or street noise and barely heard a peep from anyone in the hotel. Useful having a fridge and being able to cast to the TV. I know this sounds silly but also liked how dark the room was at night (no lights from tv or exit sign that you usually get). The breakfast looked superb but we popped over the road to the Baltic Bakehouse to grab some bits to go. Really easy to walk into central too!

Found the bed a bit firm and the duvet a bit heavy but guess thats subjective, the lights are all exposed bulbs so covered them to take the edge off, again, doesn't bother everyone. Rooms are atmospheric but very dark and mirrors/lights locations not quite in sync with being able to get ready easily. Had thought you got a Nespresso machine but see that's something you need to request so didn't really matter. Would stay again though 100%

The room/ hotel decor was excellent and felt very high-end chic and designer, the view was good, and the area was hip and trendy. The downstairs bar had the cheapest drinks of the weekend, which was great.

So our room was changed from what we ordered, we booked a superior double with a bath, but our room was this mad 4 - 6 person room. At first, we were like ok sweet free upgrade. but it was missing a few things, e.g. the bath, the record player, and most of all openable windows/AC, that room was soo hot. We didn't complain because the room was good but it did make me wonder if someone else complained so they swapped them into our room idk. Breakfast was on the good side of ok if I'm being a critic and a breakfast critic I am, it did take a while to come, and it is a very poor sausage (like a fancy Richmond) get a Lincolnshire on the plate lad, we all know its the superior sausage.

Nice little boutique hotel in a quiet area 100 yards or so back from the main road along the riverfront. The city centre is 10-15 minutes walk away. The room design is very funky - definitely aiming to be Instagrammable! I liked the record sleeve decor around the reception. The shower was excellent. We didn't eat or drink in the hotel.

There wasn't much space to hang clothes. We were also puzzled by the absence of anything to hang wet towels on to dry until we discovered that the hotel provides fresh towels every day. The DJ was already blasting at 6.30pm on the Friday evening, and too be honest was a bit too loud for us. I can thoroughly recommend the quirky basement pub across the road!
