Location was walking distance to both Llandeilo and Ffarfach. Beds very comfortable and the large room with couch was comfortable for two people for a 4-day stay. We never saw any staff, but food was out for self-serve breakfast. Attractive breakfast room.

Things that could be improved to make the stay even better: More coffee options--beyond one single serve French press--would be nice. (We're American and look for coffee--not instant!--rather than tea.) Bathroom needs more hooks for hanging up clothes, and towel bars for hanging towels. Even with the heated towel bar (on early in the morning) towels rarely dried completely. Toiletries (body wash, shampoo) in the shower would be nice. We did find shampoo on a table in the hall, but better to have in the room, and not worry about who else might be wanting it.

Lovely location, very easy to find, and the proximity to shops/takeaway food/meals was very useful. Breakfast was great, although some labels on the cupboards to find items would be useful. Great communication from the owner regarding keys and how to find our room, a little odd not to see anyone but that didn't really damage our stay.

Some more control over the heating would be useful as the top twin room was very hot, and some more info regarding the shower as the water was cold as soon as you put the water on, i wasn't really sure which way to turn the controls to achieve the temperature I wanted

A great apartment in a nice old house on the edge of the village, Melin Tregyb is within 10 minutes walk of two good pubs, a bus route and a halt on the Heart of Wales railway. It's pretty close to Llandeilo, too. With a nice mix of older and newer furnishings, good sized room and pleasant bathroom, it was a good place for our one night stay, and would be good for longer, too. A nice self service continental breakfast was included, which was very welcome. We think it was good value for money, too.

The kitchen area was clean and extremely well stocked. We were free to help ourselves to food in our own time, which was very helpful for our family . The family suite was comfortable and well appointed, plenty of space for us to stretch out and sleep comfortably. Although we didn't see any staff, Gaina responded extremely quickly to any queries .Location was very convenient for where we needed to be ; unfortunately we did not have time to explore the area as we were travelling further on the next day. Would certainly return in order to explore the beautiful surroundings more fully another time. Many thanks for a great stay!

Not being a 100% sure on what to expect, I bought a small fresh loaf and butter from the bakers in Llandeilo, but the host provided a fine continental breakfast with extra items also, which would've been fine for me. I was certainly made welcome by the host. Lovely clean & comfortable, quiet house, with WIFI and TV, and parking available. My collie was also made very welcome. The location was perfect for the Brecon Beacons, and the small town of Llandeilo only a mile away had all the amenities I could wish for.

There was nothing I didn't like about this property, owner or location. I would highly recommend staying here!

This place was exceptional. Comfy bed,warm and everything you needed. Iron,board, television and hairdryer in room. Toaster,Kettle even tea coffee and sugar. Own fridge,mugs and glasses. Very large Bedroom and separate Bathroom. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Staff very friendly and helpful. Could not fault it. Would definately recommend and would stay again.

Nothing to do with this b and b but taxi's no where near, I was visiting family so was picked up and dropped off.

It was a real home from home, where I felt that I could do anything I wanted in the kitchen as long as I cleared away. We were made to feel very welcome. The lady had even changed our room to something that she felt was more appropriate, which was such a kind touch.

I didn't like the hard floors in the bedroom. It's a personal dislike, but dirt from my shoes ended up as gritty bits on my feet and then in the bed.

we travelled with friends and booked two garden view rooms - same details/price for both but quite different in size and amenity. Our friends' room was larger with a fridge and huge widescreen TV, we had no fridge and a monitor sized TV. The room was still spacious and the bathroom was good. It was nice to have sitting options outside and in for socialising and meeting other guests staying as well - it seemed more like a large hostel than a B&B, with communal areas and a help-yourself breakfast. There was a large kitchen we could have used if we had wanted to eat in, but luckily found an open restaurant nearby for dinner.

The bed was quite soft and seemed narrow - probably a double. We enjoyed sitting outside, but the lawns hadn't been mowed for a while, so it looked unkempt. Parking - there were no instructions about where to park, we just hoped that we were in the right place. I had sent a message a few days earlier requesting some information about local restaurant options, or alternatively the kitchen facilities, but got no reply.

Lovely rooms spacious and comfortable. I like a soft bed so no issues for me. Spacious bathrooms and lovely hot showers . Locating accommodation and access exactly as described by host. Liked hot drink facilities in room. Breakfast offerings were adequate.

For a bed and breakfast I expected to meet the host at breakfast. Breakfast was not a traditional continental. The self service style of breakfast is not for me, in a B and B.

Wonderful place to stay, great location, quiet, comfortable, clean and spacious. The dogs were welcomed too. Lovely to eat breakfast in the communal kitchen, which gave opportunity to meet and chat with other guests. We would most definitely come back here again, next time bringing more family or friends as there are five great rooms to stay in.

The room we stayed in needs some small finishing touches, but this didn't detract from our enjoyment of the place. An oil heater was provided for those chillier nights.
