Stayed in the double room. Not huge has a king bed, which was very comfortable and had a lovely view whilst lying on the bed of horses and geese. The en-suite is big and both were very clean. Had a peek in the family room, it was huge airy and had the wow factor. Breakfast was ample and cooked to order- a bonus. We had an evening meal as it was Thursday. This too was excellent and good value. Although on a main route we could not hear the traffic. The host is very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to book here again and throughly recommend it. Close to the National caves and Hedryn falls. Both attractions worth a visit. So glad we booked here.
There was nothing to dislike about this b&b.

Very comfortable large, well furnished room, staff were helpful and very friendly, breakfast was very good
We were expecting to be able to eat there in the evenings, we were told we couldn’t on the first night as they had a large party in so we expected to eat the next evening (Saturday) but when we went to the restaurant we were told they weren’t open. Plenty of other places around so not a problem but we had to drive so couldn’t drink with the meal. wouldn’t have been a problem if we had known before they didn’t do evening meals.

Excellent. Right at the bus stop with parking available. So either mode, easy to access. Very comfortable and fresh looking room. Very spacious. Even the shower and bathroom is quite spacious. Lovely bunch of tea/ coffee and snacks are quite useful for a refreshing tea. The backyard views are eyecatching with Brecon national park on the edge. Very friendly staff and they served fresh breakfast. Worth of a start for a day.
Nothing at all. Really couldn't think of anything

I was here for a couple of nights participating in a bike ride. Sarah and her husband were very accommodating as I was having to get up early so was provided breakfast to take up to my room for the following morning. Although they didnt serve food in the evening when I got back Sarah offered to cook me a Sunday lunch which she would heat up when I got back in the evening. Fabulous service! The location was great and it was nice to be part of the pub so that I could have a few pints without having to think about it too much!
Nothing! The only point I would say is for people with expensive bikes, and to be clear, this is by no means anything that would stop me from coming back but I would have liked to have been able to store my bike securely on-site. There was an option to bring it into the stairwell of the accommodation area but I was concerned about passing traffic from other guests. I was informed of the situation beforehand when I did speak with Sarah so it was my decision to proceed. It was perfectly fine to store it in the car as the area didn't give any cause for concern

One of the best rooms i ever stayed in! The room was very spacious, had 2 very comfortable double beds, the sheets smelled very nice. All in all very impressed with the room.
We only stayed for 1 night on a Saturday, they had a little party so they said they couldn't serve any food in that particular day. We found some really nice restaurants about 5 minutes drive from the location

Room was very spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean Quiet location with lovely views. Host very friendly and welcoming. A lovely cooked breakfast offered plus cereals, yoghurts etc. Great location to access all the Breacon Beacons has to offer.
Only inconvenience I guess was no food served during evening and so a short trip to other local pubs was necessary to eat out.

Fabulous location for a stay, close to Brecon Beacons and lots of great walks. 👀 Our room was really lovely, looked like it was just renovated with a fab bathroom and facilities,. Comfy bed with good quality bedding. Breakfast was plentiful and hot, staff were very friendly too! 😁
A bit too warm in the room, easily solved with cracking the sash window. Not a problem at all. No other issues, would recommend and will be back!

Nice stop-over on the outskirts of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and close to Craig-y-Nos Country Park and Dan-yr-Ogof Caves, there are three bedrooms adjoining a rural pub in a quiet location. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed very comfortable and bathroom simple but perfectly adequate. Our cooked breakfast was delicious and a word of praise for our host Sarah, who we found delightful - a lovely lady, who was both warm and welcoming.

The location was spectacular with access to so many beautiful sights around. The Rheolau Arms is a delight. A warm welcome from Sarah. The room was exceptionally big for myself and two children. A beautiful room with lovely views. A delicious cooked breakfast the next morning with plenty of Continental choice. I will definitely be back . Thank You Sarah.

The room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet as the building was close to the main road. The staff were very accommodating and if I had any issues they were easy to contact. A good value breakfast was served.
Not so much a "Didn't Like" but a chair in the room would be useful. I appreciate it's a small room but it would be a nice touch.
