The room was excellent very spacious and clean, grounds were gorgeous and the staff were all really polite and helpful, free parking is always a bonus ( lots of space) , we had dinner in the restaurant first night and the food was lovely again staff were very attentive .

With the room the only issue was that the windows do not open properly which we thought was a bit of a pain but may also a fire Hazzard as they had a little lock on the so you wouldn't be able to get out that way if there was an issue in the corridor. Also on the first night there were a group of people outside until 1;24am being really loud so didn't get to sleep until they had gone, The bar was closed but it looked like they had stocked up on bottles of wine before the bar closed. it would have been appreciated if a staff member had gone outside to either ask them to quiet down o r to move inside at the end of the day people had paid a lot of money to Sleep there and not be disturbed until the early hours of the morning.

Lovely grounds, hotel exceptional clean, food good, drink prices good, staff polite and efficient, nice large car park, bed was very large and comfortable, restaurant was a pleasant place to dine.

No phone in room,we have stayed in 100s of hotels and never before have had to ask to get our room serviced or ask for milk, tea, coffee replenishment it’s always been done daily ,tv reception was absolutely useless. And the spa doesn’t open until 10:00 a:m so useless for early rises who want to use the facilities.

Treatments and Spa were lovely , lunch & breakfast were delicious. Friendly staff .

1 of the single beds had a dip in it, quite uncomfortable (room212) . Our room overlooked the rear of the hotel and it wasn’t particularly tidy. There was also a dog tied up (a long leash) next to the bins on the hottest day of the year !

The staff were all super friendly and welcoming - could not have been better! It makes such a difference when they acknowledge you as an individual even though they are busy... from the cleaner to the reception staff and waiters - all were lovely and created a homely comfortable atmosphere. the room was quiet, good shower, everything worked, comfy bed all good. spa was a great bonus after hiking in the rain and the wind the day before! fabulous!

Only down side was the meal in the evening although good, certain elements seemed as though had been heated up from lunchtime maybe? but the service from Liam was impeccable and very knowledgeable!

Fabulous room, whole hotel beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Gorgeous bathroom with rainfall shower and modern decoration. Large comfy bed, all you can eat breakfast, beautiful location, lovely walk into town along the river. The spa was fab and I had a brilliant massage. Superb staff all dressed in black and white uniforms which was a nice touch.

The wi-fi was terrible - although that could have been the location in a valley. I couldn't get wi-fi or 4g in my room and even the communal areas was a bit hit and miss. The food was OK. Hotel prices but not too exploitative. Limited menu and kind of going for fine dining but then serving condiments in sachets, paper not linen napkins and quality not quite there, Always best to undersell and over deliver rather than the converse. All pipework in bathrooms should be boxed in looks a bit cheap seeing the botched plasterwork.

Comfortable bed. Room was nice. Spa pool was lovely. Good location to walk by the river in to town.Food was amazing.

Chairs in the room, bar and dining room are very marked and look dirty. A mistake was made on our bill which was only highlighted to us as we were leaving and we had to pay an additional £100. A clear explanation for this wasn't given. On checking once we were home, I emailed the Reception Manager to query the charge. She called me personally to apologise as the bill had been added up incorrectly. We had actually been overcharged £110 in total. Check all bills and payments very carefully. This put a dampener on the break we had.

The property was easy to find with plenty of parking, check in was simple , but I did misunderstand the need to display parking and keep the room information, but all was resolved. Room well equipped, clear and comfortable, the bathroom worked well with good pressure and hot water hot, always a plus. We stayed 1 night, so enjoyed dinner and breakfast on-site. Breakfast did not open until 8am, which we missed the timeline notice and presented at 7:55 to be told to sit outside until 8am. Bit odd but rules are important. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked for information. All-round a comfortable stay.

There is a lift, which is a plus and a lot of fire doors, which are fine but difficult when you have luggage. Rules are important but sometimes need to be relaxed.

We came to North Wales to celebrate our one year anniversary, with a relaxing spa weekend, and that's exactly what we got! Firstly the setting and the kerb appeal of the hotel was gorgeous, the ground were very well maintained and the whole feeling was one of tranquility. We were very impressed with the size of our room, usually a standard room it still quite stuffy and pokey at most places but ours was very spacious, and the temperature was perfect. It was situated in a quiet and peaceful part of the hotel, we couldn't hear anything outside of the room! The room and bathroom was very clean and had plenty of facilities, you don't often get a small face mirror as well as a full length so I was happy that I could do my makeup in the better lighting! All the staff were super friendly, and made you feel relaxed and at ease.

We were hoping to experience the full bar menu on our anniversary, which fell on a Sunday, so there was only the Sunday menu available at The Glasshouse bar (we should have checked in advance to be honest!). I personally would have been fine with that but as my partner is a vegetarian, he didn't feel that there were many options to choose from with it being more of a Roast. We both said that we bet the food would be lovely, it just wasn't the type of food we fancied - no worries though as we drove a very short distance into town and got a pizza instead. We did enjoy a few drinks in the Glasshouse Bar before and afterwards and enjoyed ourselves anyway :)

Very comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. We had an issue with the first room (flush ran continuously) and we were moved to another room with no quibbles. Good, plentiful parking. Didn't get to use any other facilities.

I was disappointed that I couldn't use the spa, as although the welcome email said it opened at 8 am, it didn't in fact, open until 10 am, which was too late, given that check-out was at 11am. I had selected this hotel especially for the spa facility too. Didn't appreciate the huge number of emails in the run-up to our stay, asking us to upgrade our room. This felt too much akin to unsolicitated emails. The first room we were allocated also hadn't had the bathroom waste bin emptied, whilst the second room had no sanitary waste bin at all!

Loved this property room was nice and clean and comfy. Spa facilities were exactly what was needed. Not to overcrowded so we got a bed to relax on. Hotel it’s self was very clean and food was nice. My partner got a birthday card in his room which was a lovely gesture 🙂

There was a wedding so as we were trying to have a nice quiet drink and chat before and with our meal it was quiet loud with small children screaming running about. The staff did try to tell them but it’s not the staff who should be babysitting them
