Excellent value for money for this small luxurious hotel in a superb location right beside London Bridge! Ease of access from the underground direct from Heathrow airport. We ate in the restaurant on the Friday evening. Food although pricey was superb, however the superbness outweighed the value! It was TOO expensive. 350GBP for 4 people with 6 Cobra and 2 small glasses of wine. Overpriced even by London standards. Bedrooms were REALLY comfortable and very spacious also SPOTLESS!
Liked everything - would stay again! Would not eat in the restaurant again. Plenty of selection on the doorstep though from pub grub to the Ivy. Arrived home 1230am into Sunday morning. Door locked took a good 15plus minutes to get the door answered.

Very nice location. It's just 2 minute far from London bridge. Hotel is very luxury and super clean. Staff is polite. It 7 to 8 minute far from London bridge metro.
I ordered GAJAR KA HALWA( Carrot semoule) but it's not same as indian taste. Even it was something else. Not like sweet dish. So hotel is super but if you want to eat something good then outside there is lot of restaurant. Because this is tourist area.

Excellent hotel, well maintained, old school with class. The Thames suite was pretty good sized, the available coffee/tea and beverages with snacks which were delivered each day and whenever requested. Breakfast we chose was Indian and truly impressive with the chai.. Worth a visit each time when in London.. truly worth mentioning was breakast each day and the hotel staff (Eashwar) who knew each of the 6 days where we like to sit, bringing in the chai immediately and knew what dishes we wanted. When you stay at a hotel such as this one; a truly so personalized service as provided above takes it above and beyond all other 5 star hotels in town.
A minor quirk, that each time you leave the hotel to go out sightseeing you need to drop off the keys at the front desk. nothing worth complaining about.

The LaLit is in a great location - less than 10 minutes walk from London Bridge station & literally round the corner from Tower Bridge. We stayed in a senior classroom & it was a great size. The bathroom had a heated toilet! And the shower pressure was good. There were lots of complimentary toiletries & the (soft drink) mini bar was also complimentary. The Indian breakfast was a highlight (it’s a bit spicy), and the English breakfast was also good.
We ate dinner in the hotel & the curry was not of a standard I would expect from an Indian hotel. It was bland, I am however Indian myself & I probably have a different expectation to the average customer. It was an expensive meal - £18 for a curry without rice. I did notice when booking here that an ‘offer’ of dinner for £150pp was available & I definitely would’nt book that as our bill including drinks was significantly less than £150 total.

The property itself is really beautiful. The room was great, the staff was very lovely and helpful (when we had an issue with the drainage of the shower, they were really fast to react and fix it). The restaurant is one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve ever had (and we’ve been to India multiple times). The location was really great as well right next to Tower Bridge, Borough Market and metro station. The room was great, really spacious and comfortable !
Maybe some areas could use a freshen up like the corridors and doors in the common areas, as well as the carpets in the rooms, but not something which really bothered us.

Quiet oasis of luxuriant calm and immaculately clean. We were upgraded on arrival which was an added bonus. Room was huge for London and had everything you could ask for. Masses of storage, super king sized bed which was very comfortable with delicious cotton sheets, bathrobes and slippers, beautifully tiled bathroom with every extra you could imagine. Lovely toiletries and complimentary minibar/fridge. We had lunch in the garden which was superb. Some of the the best food I’ve ever eaten.
Room was a little cold on entering but temperature could be altered to suit

Location and proximity to places we wanted to see. The staff were exceptional, and very helpful.I booked a junior room for my daughter and I. As you enter hotel lobby and entrance gives you a luxurious feel, and the rest of the hotel did not disappoint, very clean and elegant. Our room was very spacious, bathroom was great, heated toilet seats😊 I love it ( i have at home, so i feellike home)… towels are luxurious, and the bed and pillows very comfortable.., We loved our room. We just stayed 1 night , hoped we could stay longer. Would definitely stay here again if my travels brings me back to London

Location was Perfect. Right next to Tower Bridge. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Lovely historic building with beautiful grand public rooms. Very Comfortable Rooms. Superb Shower. Friendly Staff.
There was no concierge working when we arrived. So we had to carry our large suitcases from the taxi up to our rooms by ourselves. And we had to keep our curtains closed for the whole stay as there are tall neighbouring apartment buildings in very close proximity to most sides of the hotel. Meaning there is No privacy.

Fantastic location. Less than 10min walk from London Bridge tube. We were early so understandably the room wasn’t ready, the staff were so lovely. When we returned after check in time, we found our bags already in the room. On checkout they looked after our bags for a few hours and then they were carried out to the front for us when we were leaving! The complimentary mini bar is a nice touch and they refilled it with soft drinks we liked. We booked a Junior Classroom and what we had was spacious, lovely lighting touches, spacious bathroom with a great shower. We got lucky and dropped on an unexpected view of the shard! Not sure if all rooms do? The room was silent. We heard no other guests, no doors opening and closing, no sound of London outside. I don’t think I’d stay anywhere else in future in London now.

A reminiscence for my wife who worked in the building when it was a college in the 1990's. The internal refurbishment taking it from teaching establishment to boutique hotel is outstanding. The staff were very friendly and appeared genuinely interested to hear about the hotel's past life. We sampled the Indian dishes on offer for both breakfast and dinner and were suitably impressed.
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The only downside was that being on the top floor of the building, the ceiling was very low in places - very easy to bump one's head, even when only 5 foot 6 inches tall.
