Nice, clean, modern hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The location of the hotel is very good, just a five minute walk from Ealing Broadway station, and a 2 minute walk from a very large shopping area, which has just about every major shop and restaurant chain. It's located on a one-way street, lined with plenty of eating places (I highly recommend the pizza's at the Santa Maria Pizzeria), and is surprisingly quiet. The continental breakfast was good, and had a reasonably good selection. The room itself was very clean, as was the shower room/toilet. There was a large safe, and plentiful cupboard/drawer space. A kettle and cafetiere were provided, with a small selection of teas & coffees, together with bottled water. There was a TV that had Freeview channels.

I found the mattress too soft, but that's just a matter of personal taste I guess. A small fridge would have been nice to have had.

There is on site parking available which was important to me as I travelled to London by car. There are only 5-6 spaces so get there early. This was charged at £20 per day but that's fine for London prices. The location is perfect to travel on to Wembley: the trip is 40-50 mins by bus/train or just 30 mins or so if you hire an electric bike. The breakfast is really nice. The staff were friendly and approachable. The hotel was clean and the room very comfortable and with air conditioning. Overall, an excellent experience.

The overall experience was excellent. If I could improve anything it would be that the bar remains open later (although not too much of a problem as there are plenty of places nearby) and there were only small tubes of shower gel available so it's important to bring your own (plenty of shops nearby to buy some if needed). These are only minor points.

The hotel is in Centre of Ealing, a vibrant suburb of London. Right on the Elizabeth Line (cross rail) 15min from LHR, and 45min from LCY airports Helpful and friendly staffs. It could be even better if there is a mini-fridge (no need to be stocked - for keeping food stuff chilled in hot weather) in the room.

Lighting in the room can be improved, especially there is no light at the study desk which make is very difficult to work in the evening. However, when inform the front desk, they quickly bring a desk lamp for me. So positive for customer service. The wifi is not very stable and slow. The signal keeps dropping off again doesn't help with work and mobile connectivity.

The breakfast quality was good; not a huge assortment, but the quality was good, i.e., the bread, the juice, the eggs, etc. Also, the location is fantastic because many restaurants and shops are within walking distance, and the Ealing Boardway station is a 6min walk. The Overall experience was great, and I really liked the hotel, and if I ever go back to the UK, I would stay there.

There are no electrical outlets near the bed, and no USB ports in the sockets, so make sure you have a couple of travel adaptors if you have multiple devices. I didn't ask for adaptors; I am sure they would have given if I had requested them.

We loved the excellent staff, the lovely clean and functional room that had a view of the street but didn’t have all the noise of it. The bed was comfy, the location was perfect. A bus right out the front, cafes, restaurants and bars everywhere nearby and the Elizabeth, District and Circle line in easy walking distance. The breakfast was good value with a range of all you’d want, cereals, breads, pastries, hot buffet, toast in a nice set up.

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like.

Location and on-site car parking is really convenient. Given it's town centre positioning it's relatively quiet. Great for District, Central and Elizabeth tube lines.

Little things like the bathroom waste bin had not been emptied so other guests sanitary products evident. Nothing major, just not quite what it needs to be. This could just have been a one-off, but if the waste had not been removed, then naturally you consider what else may have been overlooked. It a good continental breakfast option, but I do prefer a cooked breakfast as it's often the only food I will eat until the evening.

I stayed due to a cancelled flight, although my stay was very pleasant and comfortable, I personally would not have paid that much for one night for such an accommodation, but I don’t know if these prices are standard in the uk.

It’s a high end priced hotel, but does not have a high end feel. There were stains on the carpet, that looked old. Information on the facilities were not available in the room. The TV is very small for the size of the room. No fridge was available in the room to keep medication as an example or cold drinks.

Finding a good, reasonably-priced boutique hotel in London is not as easy as it sounds. With rail strikes a constant threat staying within reach of Heathrow seems important. The Xanadu is a great choice. Near to station, shops and restaurants in Ealing Broadway it really fits the bill. Excellent rooms, lovely staff, a lift, and a sophisticated continental breakfast (European in style) make a short stay pleasurable and comfortable. I’ll definitely stay again. A more personal experience than in chain hotels and reasonably priced.

Nothing, really - the whole experience was positive

I love the location, the rooms are clean, comfy bed and staff are friendly.

The TVs in the rooms are really old, no smart TVs or even access to Netflix so it’s not very nice chilling in the room as the volume and quality are bad and there are limited channels. There is no possibility of connecting your laptop to the TV, not even through a hdmi cable, that’s how old they are so you can’t even do that. This in my opinion is what really let’s the hotel down. I’ve stayed longer periods and find this super annoying.

Excellent location! Lots of restaurants right around the hotel and the underground station was barely a five minute walk. Helpful staff, and clean and comfortable room. Would recommend 10/10!

I wish they didn't wash towels that was hanging every day - for the environment's sake. I also had some problems on my last day there figuring out train schedules (in the middle of strikes) and the staff was not able to help me. It is worth noting that I asked this question in the middle of the night, so I understand that helping me was difficult.
