Very simply - we liked everything: the location (and the nearby church and its chimes), the building, our cosy room and the view from it, the terrace, the kettle and complimentary coffee/tea in our room, and yes, the breakfast. But most of all we´d like to thank Mena and Sheren for their professionalism and friendliness. We also briefly met other Ibis Gl. R. people and they were all very helpful and outgoing.
It´s not really something we ´didn´t like´, but a small fridge would be handy. Also, our bathroom was a bit tight. But again - definitely not something we disliked or would complain about.

The staff were excellent, reception staff were friendly and informative. The standard of cleanliness from the housekeeping staff was exceptional . Anna the Housekeeper and Karen did an amazing job with all their team - so hard working. The high standard of cleanliness in the rooms and facilities was as good if not better than other hotels I have stayed in which have been a lot more expensive. I will definitely return to this hotel when staying in London again and would stay in other Ibis Styles hotels in the future and would recommend to friends too.
There was nothing I didn't like.

We checked in little bit early got told we could pay 15.00 for early check or join the loyalty programme Done the latter but at about 12 midnight my ohone went it was your staff i answered but no one said hello i put it down went twice after that up until2am i couldnt sleep after that i asked in morning why they had rung they said that we hadnt i checked in wasnt happy with this response You really need a proper reception with people who know what there doing it wasnt professional at all to be rung 3 times in night.

The location was excellent for our purposes because we were going to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The room was small but well designed and clean. Staff greeting us were incredibly smiley and helpful. Breakfast was good.
It is expensive - but not unreasonable for London prices. Absolutely no view and therefore slightly claustrophobic. When you went into the lobby of the room, there were three stairs ahead of you to the bedroom and three stairs to the left to the bathroom. More could be done to differentiate the second stair in terms of colour because going down then up three stairs in the middle of the night is potentially tricky.

The hotel was in a great location amongst great restaurants, bars and museums with tube stations nearby. The room was clean, if a bit small. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was too hot and we couldn't regulate the temp ourselves. We had to have the window open throughout the entire stay. Even though the hotel had signs up that they wouldn't change the towels if they were hung up, all our towels were changed after the first night. Not great when you advertise being environmentally friendly. Told the staff on departure but they just looked at me blankly as if they didn't understand what I was talking about. Seems like more education is needed on what the hotel chain is trying to do to be greener. Not enough tea in the room.

The Position was just perfect. Very central. The metro just around the corner. Supermarket and some restaurant as well close to the hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. We had the chance to leave our luggage in a stored box after the check out. The room was clean, everything was good such as the size of the room, the heating, etc.
The only thing I could say about this hotel was that during the heart of the night we heard noises coming from the upper floor; but I guess the fault is of the disrespectful people.

This is my second stay in this hotel, and it is now my "go to" choice if I want an economical hotel for a short stay close to central London. Location couldn't be bettered, just across the road from an underground station with plenty of places (dozens) to eat nearby with a range of prices and styles, including a hotel next door that has a restaurant. Basement room was very quiet and comfortable, continental breakfast good. Everywhere was very clean, with helpful and pleasant staff. A bit quirky in parts, but the "underground" theme has been executed very well.
Breakfast can be a bit busy at times, and as a solo traveller on this occasion I was a bit concerned I'd lose my seat if I didn't keep an eye on it when going for a refill, so take a coat to put on the chair! Basement room was a little tight on space, basin had a crack that had been well repaired but should in my opinion have been replaced. No socket for kettle where it's kept, so had to use it on the desk.

- Perfect location to get around London, especially if you need to go to Royal Albert Hall and some museums. - Decoration is based on the tube, which is brilliant. Reception area is very well decorated, bright, clean. - I could not count how many plugs and USBs were in the bedroom. It is ENDLESS!!! There are plus and USB absolutely everywhere, lots and lots of them. I was really impressed! Well done!!! finally a hotel that understand its customers! - black out curtain is so thick and heavy, we really didn’t want to wake up. Very comfy bedroom. Clean too and very quiet. - staff very polite and attentive. - bathroom very good size and amazing shower. We loved our stay!! thank you!
Although there are more than plenty of lights everywhere in the bedroom, which is amazing, it was a real struggle to put make up on without a godo lighting in the desk area or bathroom.

Ideal location for the tube and visiting the Natural History Museum. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so could spend the whole weekend in the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a room for 3 of us and the room had space and was very clean and comfortable. We had a room on the 4th floor and even though it was facing onto Cromwell Road, it was fairly quiet. Continental breakfast was ample for what we needed. Hotel was tastefully decorated and we were able to relax. Would definitely come back again. Loved the hotel.
Rooms were quite warm - but that could be us as we are used to a cool house. Shower had a bit a of a problem draining, so needed to be careful if you had a long shower.

Room was small but big enough, everything i needed was there tea coffee facilities were ok, could have been more already in room, as there wasn't enough for two adults to have more than one coffee etc, but not a big deal. The breakfast was plentyful, and a good choice of food, however, no hot food on offer so completely continental style. But again not a big deal.
My room was on the lower ground floor so I didn't feel comfortable leaving window open as outside pavements were right there. The room was generally clean but some marks on the carpet (looked like biscuit ground in) and the sink had quite big cracks in the basin so doesn't give a good impression. The tea tray was ok see above, but where it was in the room - no plug so had to find an alternative place for it. None if this affected my stay, but it is these little things that make a diference.
