Beautiful hotel in Covent Garden both outside and inside. We stayed in a Grande room, which was spacious, very comfortable, and well decorated. The hotel has a youthful, chic vibe. The drinks at the bar were amazing! The staff were generally friendly and welcoming. A great addition and base to this area of London.

Our only compliant was after an 11 hour flight and early (8:30) arrival, we were unable to checkin to our room until 2 pm. We fully realize checkin was at 3 pm. We asked if there was an upgrade available for our 3-night stay. A Parlor Suite was available but we were told a £300/night charge would be applied. Knowing we looked exhausted from travel, a complimentary upgrade would have been welcome (experienced on multiple occasions at other hotels), even a discounted upgrade or a complimentary water/drink upon arrival would have been a kind touch to a weary travel. There was a slight aloofness from the front desk. Just something to consider for overseas travelers.

Location is excellent. Rooms are lovely, super clean and well appointed.

I feel churlish to say it, but the LIGHTING is a nightmare. The main rooms of the hotel, including the hallways, are so dimly lit that it is at times impossible to see the elevator doors, or your room door, or anything in front of you. The lighting is darker than many night clubs. In the main rooms, this is juxtaposed by the glorious atrium that covers the restaurant, but the atrium light doesn't filter to the other rooms and as a guest you spend all your time walking through or sitting in these rooms. It creates a spooky effect in the hallways.

Loved this hotel. Very London. Excellent design, emotive, engaging and comfortable. The hotel has a very appealing restaurant. The Library was a great place to read [yes you heard correctly, read], eat and or grab a drink. The room we had was very enjoyable, it was great. You could easily kick back in your room, much more than just a place to rest the head. Beds fantastic. Bathroom excellent. Underfloor heating. Shower great size. Toilet separate. Service was understated and professional. Location was exceptional, close to everything funky, while also accessible to major cultural and entertainment hubs.

From the moment we walked in, the property feels like an oasis with a dark, moody lobby overlooking a stunning atrium with the restaurant below. Every staff member we encountered was professional and friendly. The food we ate on property was all top notch including their bar and Mexican restaurant on property, Side Hustle. The room service options were strong and again staff was always friendly and professional. I truly cannot fault a single aspect of the experience.

The only thing I didn't love about the hotel was its location. It WAS centrally located, so it may not be a negative for many people. I loved the Seven Dials area in one direction, Covent Garden in another direction was OK but very touristy and I didn't care at all for the theatre district, which is also nearby and extremely touristy. Clearly, for some, that location will be a plus, so it is really a personal preference.

Everything was great, the room are lovely and the bars etc are great. Have stayed here 3 times since December and had honestly thought that I had found a home from home hotel in London to which I could return time and time again but unfortunately Breakfast is a disaster and I really cant stand the stress of starting the day on the wrong food. Service is slow, food is always cold, staff are surly and supervisor argumentative and stand offish when we complained. We spoke to Diana on reception who assured us that she would investigate and come back to us when we got home, as expected never heard another word so wont be returning. I have found another hotel close by, One Aldwych, which is so much nicer, privately owned and so much more accommodating.

Breakfast, slow, always luke warm, slow surly staff, surly and argumentative supervisor, spanish women, just really really bad customer service and experience which has totally let the hotel down

We felt the hotel was super stylish with a quality finish, exceptionally clean and lots of beautiful features. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere in the bar was excellent & cocktails beautifully made & presented. Stunning dining area.

We were very disappointed at the lack of drink options past midnight on a bank holiday in the hotel bar. Bottle of beer & wine only, no cocktails which dampened the end of the evening for our party celebrating a 40th birthday. We feel that a high end hotel in central london should really have a full drinks menu available til after midnight. We were a party of 8 and there were other people in the bar.

A beautifully designed hotel. Excellent choice of decor and finishes that compliment the character well. The team of people that quietly accompany you throughout your stay do so in such a way that you do not realise how hard they are working to make you feel as though you are the only one there. You really must come and stay here and spend time around the hotel to get the best out of your trip.

The hotel has an interesting layout and it can be initialy challenging to find your way around. Lighting is very subdued but nothing is too much trouble for any of the team charged with making your stay enjoyable. Really, there are no complaints.

All staff except the breakfast staff were superb

Breakfast was truly awful. This is our fourth stay since November and we haven’t had a hot breakfast yet. Staff are slow, arrogant, rude and just not interested in serving you at breakfast, especially the supervisor who is extremely rude and she has no control and didn’t even have the courtesy to see us when we complained. Other tables were complaining too. The hotel is just great but it’s a real shame you have to endure breakfast.

Beds were very comfortable. The food was great and the amount of cosy areas bars was fantastic - perfect for a weekend with friends. Additionally the vibe in the late afternoon and evening was great.

the waiting time for for service during breakfast was way too long. Even up to an hour waiting for the order. Also upon checkout I noticed significant amounts added to the bill. I was told this was service charge thats being added every day to the accommodation fee and that this has been normal practice. Only when I decided to come back and discuss the matter some time after I settled the bill was I told that by another member of staff at the reception that the amount is optional and that It can be refunded.

We can't rate this hotel highly enough. I wanted somewhere "cool" to take my 19 year old daughter for her first trip to London and The Nomad exceeded all of our expectations. I am an interior designer and was blown away by the interiors especially the attention to detail. There was not an unfluffed cushion to be seen and there was beauty around every corner !!! The staff and concierge services especially were excellent as was the location. The room was impeccable and the bathroom was the best I have ever experienced in a London hotel - huge shower!! Beds incredibly comfortable and we havd a very quiet room at the back of the hotel looking over a quaint little lane ;) I will def be staying here again.

We couldn't fault a thing
