- Had to pay extra for luggage storage on our departure day (15 Pounds per bag) - Were staying for 3 Nights and asked every day for an extra duvet. Each time we were told that they would bring one in 20-30 minutes. Never received one. - Since there are no windows it can get a little sticky since you cannot air out the room. The lack of windows also doesn't help the horrible lighting (terrible to do your make up).

The lighting made the hotel look very modern and greatly helped make the room feel less closed in since there were no windows. The staff were all very friendly! A great modern, minimalist style and clean room with helpful amenities. The location was absolutely amazing for the price!

If one person gets up before the other, showering until both people are awake is pretty impossible. The bathroom doors do not block light out at all, so the whole room is bright. I also wouldn't recommend staying with a family member because the shower/bathroom doors are a bit too revealing for (at least me personally) comfort with anyone other than my partner.

Some of the reviews were quite scary to read, and now I feel that most people probably expected some kind of luxury hotel but for that price, what were they thinking? The room was clean, it had everything we needed, we even had 2 beds instead of the expected 1. It was the most quiet room I could ask for. We slept so well, they brought us additional towels and toilet paper even if we didn't request it, and the location is perfect for a weekend to London (super touristy neighbourhood but then easy to access everything).

Charging guests a crazy amount to keep luggage before/ after checkout: we used a Stasher drop point at a 3 min walk from the hotel and it was perfect, around 12 pounds for two bags. But it would be way more convenient for the hotel to offer storage FOR FREE. The beds and pillows could have been more comfortable and some bath towels were stained.

It’s in a great location and so even if I was there for work, was able to explore and walk around as its so central! The staff were very helpful and checking in/checking out was super easy. The room is incredibly dark when all the lights are turned off which was great for sleeping.

The stay was great, but there were two things that I wish were slightly different (personal preferences probably!) the thermostat in the room wouldn’t go below 19 and because most of the rooms have no windows due to the design, I got really warm overnight even with the fan on and so didn’t sleep as soundly as I probably could have. The other thing which I was happy to do but wish I had know was that I selected this hotel partly because all the comments said you could leave your suitcase there on the first/last day before/after check out. None of the comments however did say there’s a fee associated with it of (I think) 10 pounds. It’s not a lot of money and so I was happy to pay but I just wish it would be advertised or mention so people are aware!

central location and quiet room , small place but sufficient for just spending a night

no basic amenities in room like hot water, no coffee or tea, no hairdryer, have to pay £10 just to leave luggage! vending machine prices is nearly double what outside is selling..

Small room,with absolutely nothing what you expect in a hotel(hair dryer,coffee,kettle)These basic things are not available.Piccadely circus is a busy touristy place,I didn’t enjoy it.Its a good place to stay if you plan to spend the whole day outside and come back only to sleep.However for the same price I stayed in two other hotels in London with windows and with all the amenities and great location.

Perfect location , right in the middle of everything , barely even needed to use the tube. The aesthetic of the hotel was lovely and the stay was really good for the price. Also staff were super friendly and keen to ensure you had a good stay

Appreciate the stay was cheap however it was disappointing the rooms were not cleaned daily. Also would have liked a TV in the room. Was surprised there was a service charge for leaving bags of £15. The cafe didn’t offer hot food for breakfast

Location excellent and Demaine (may have incorrect spelling of his name) at reception was most helpful.

It would have been most helpful if we could have left our bags (small) at Zedwell for 3 hours (post check out) prior to our travel to the airport. £10 charge per bag was completely exploitative. This was a big disappointment given the rest of our stay was so positive. Thank you, Patrick Dineen.

Perfect location, so easy to walk to many attractions. Added bonus as we booked tickets for the Bob Marley musical "Get Up Stand Up," at the Lyric Theatre which was by coincidence virtually across the road from Zedwell. We knew there wouldn't be windows in the room, no TV or kettle etc..so not disappointed in any way. We just wanted a comfortable bed, clean room and good shower. We got all these things. It was relaxing to come back to such a quiet space and not have any distracting lights or sounds from the streets below. Slept soundly each night . I'd recommend the 3rd floor, not too high up so getting a lift was easy. Very restful and great to walk out and eat somewhere different for breakfast each morning. Good discount through booking.com

We had to ask for towels, we got them immediately, but they should have been in the room. Don't share these rooms with anyone you're not really close to as the bathrooms have just opaque screens with a sliding door and no lock. No problem for us but just a warning!
