We had to ask for enough towels for three people and the shower was out of shower gel (discovered while in the shower). We also had to ask for nose tissues. These requests were handled quickly upon calling the front desk. Other than that, our stay at Thistle was great. Very nice staff!

A nice hotel in an excellent location. Easy access via Piccadilly line from Heathrow airport. Easy walk to Buckingham palace, Houses of Parliament, regent street and China town. Many other attractions like London eye and St Paul’s cathedral are relatively close by.

Breakfast only is available and limited in variety but was adequate. The gym is small and basic.

The hotel was central to many attractions and theatres. Efficient check in. Room was ready on our arrival, 3 hours earlier than we’d expected. Our superior deluxe room was large with super king sized bed. The view from our window showed London at its busiest - a true bustling city view. The hotel was very quiet and we enjoyed a comfortable night’s sleep. The lift and room were spotless.

The rainfall shower had to be prepared to hand shower, otherwise you could be met by a shower on entry, which, for someone trying to keep hair dry was challenging! The key-fob was bent so we had to have it replaced after discovering it was useless.

Breakfast was really good. Location was the best of any place I've ever stayed in London. I loved that they had room doors that closed slowly on their own. We didn't hear doors slamming all of the time like they do at other hotels. The staff who cleaned the room were exceptional.

Our visit was in July and their air conditioning wasn't quite up to the task. We did have fans in the rooms, but you don't want to pay this kind of money and have to rely on fans.

I had a wonderful stay at Thistle Piccadilly. The location is absolutely unbeatable – right in the heart of everything, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff were outstanding – a special thank you to Rashid, Khadeja, Malik, Andrea, and the entire team for their warm hospitality and exceptional service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had hot water available at all times, which was much appreciated after long days out. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for its amazing location and great staff. Looking forward to staying here again!

Location was excellent

There was no atmosphere in the hotel

The location is excellent, right beside Leicester Square, within walking distance of the West End, Covent Garden and Chinatown. It's also about 5 minutes walk to either Leicester Square or Piccadilly tube stations to connect to other tourist sites in London. Although only breakfast is served, it is easy to order food delivery. The hotel is innovative in helping to promote a green environment by providing a voucher to Costa Coffee for those who do not require daily housekeeping.

The hot buffet breakfast, although sufficient, is the same every day lacking variety. The housekeeping and other service staff tend to just knock on the door and enter almost immediately instead of waiting for the guest to open the door.

We were three of us and had booked a junior suite. We were on the 7th floor of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly. We were a bit early but the room was ready and we were quickly checked in. Adeel was extremely helpful. The room was excellent. The bed was large and even the sofa bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is centrally located at Piccadilly Circus and it is an extremely happening area and very well connected by underground, buses and taxis. There are several restaurants with multiple cuisines and bars.

We were extremely satisfied with the hotel and there is nothing to complaint. We are extremely happy with the rooms, stay and staff.

The hotel is very conveniently located. The price and quality is optimal. The soundproofing of the rooms is excellent; additional glass screens are installed on the inside windows, which completely block out street noise that irritates you. Breakfast is excellent. There is everything you need to refresh yourself in the morning before exploring London. The English breakfast is great, I love English sausages, it’s a pity that my favorite hashbrowns were not there. It would be nice to have them for English breakfast. The rooms are small, but there is enough space to accommodate two adult travelers. The bathroom has everything you need. There is also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, LCD TV with English programs. The most important advantage of the hotel is its convenient location in the very center of London with walking distance to famous historical and cultural places. There are several metro stations nearby, which adds mobility when moving around the capital. And finaly there are a lots of pubs with local english bitter beer. Without visiting them you will never understand the British soul.

Nicely located and easy walk to most locations. Very nice room, bed size, linen and pillows. Ultra convenient with not one, but two coffee shops downstairs. AND, if you skip a day in housekeeping then you can claim a seven pound voucher for Costa Coffee downstairs but you need to talk to reception for the voucher. The Lego store and M&M store a literally over the road.

All was very good once the circuit breaker for the power points were reset after a rather gruff person on the phone insisted that I don't know how to use a power point. Shower leaked overnight but that was fixed by closing the bathroom door and was reported the next day.
