Fabulous central location, close to the tube and great shopping and food Clean, spacious rooms Wonderful staff at reception arranged for an early check in after arriving early on the train! We had been a little nervous about staying at the Dilly after reading some of the reviews but, after staying there three times in a month, we concluded that there was no foundation for any of those concerns.

fantastic location - steps away from Piccadilly Circus (1 hour train from Heathrow), short walking distance to the theatres, British Museum etc. The room was excellent and the beds were very comfortable.

It was great - we weren’t there long enough to check out the hotel’s facilities.

Absolutely amazing location and wonderful hotel. Probably the best hotel breakfast we have ever had! Rooms were spacious and clean. Well equipped gym and the pool area was lovely.

The Dilly was a near perfect stay! We had a huge room looking out over the street with windows you could open. The location is near everything and a tube stop. Breakfast is a huge, delish buffet in the gorgeous terrace restaurant. We had cocktails at the bar at night which was fun and a sophisticated setting. The kids loved the big pretty pool, although we thought it was a little cold! Overall an amazing value compared to other hotels nearby.

AC standards are a bit different in the UK, we learned. The room was quite stuffy and hot and the "AC" was really just air movement. Wouldn't be a problem most of the year, but in June it was not comfortable. Dinner at the Hidden Terrace restaurant was a disappointment.

The location is perfect for the Mayfair and Piccadilly areas, and ideal for the Piccadilly Theatre. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. The water and snack station in reception and free ice lollies were a lovely touch. The large bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, (although expensive at £25 - £35 pp) and the staff at breakfast were super efficient at clearing, replenishing and were very very welcoming.

The Dilly are slow to respond to communication, both through the Booking.com messenger and direct email. I had a message to complete a review about my stay before I checked in and before they answered a question I had sent regarding my stay! There was a miscommunication over the breakfast charge, and for which I am still awaiting a response - but that was just something that happened to me, and Im sure it isnt a common issue.

The staff was most helpful and always with a smile. Housekeeping was attentive! Always a housekeeper supervisor came after room was done to either inspect the work or to ask if we had any needs. Many nearby restaurants for breakfast and dinner at an Italian restaurant across the street was excellent. Bus stop in front of the Dilly, taxi stand a few feet away and Tube in Piccadilly Circus. Great location to see the sights of London during the day and to enjoy theater and dining in the evening

I thought the hotel breakfast was too pricey but was pleased with the prices at the nearby restaurants.

We stayed 7 nights in The Dilly hotel and liked almost all about the hotel. the location is fantastic. all staff are helpful and very attentive. we didn't have much of extra requests but these few were addressed immediately ( extra pillow; extra bathroom amenities; breakfast bag when going out early etc) The concierges were absolutely helpful with providing a taxi and recommending places to go (Pubs etc) The breakfasts at the Terrace were daily feasts for us with a lot of variety of highest quality food. the swimming pool in the basement was the epic experience for us.

The Dilly is an old hotel. everything is working, but looks outdated. we would like to revisit it when renovated.

The Dilly is perfectly located, near Picadilly Circus. The hotel dates back to 1908, but the facility was updated with all comodities. The breakfast buffet and space were excellent, and the staff in the breakfast room was very attentive and friendly. We used the pool twice and liked it very much.

We did enjoy our stay very much, and we didn't miss anything. Only the people servicing our room were not so helpful: A part of our curtain got stuck on top of a high window, and we had no chance of reaching up there. One person said he would pass the information along, the next one took note on her iPhone, but nothing ever happened. If it would have bothered us enough we would have gone to the concierge, but we were fine with the inner window being open.

The room was delightful. The mezzanine was great! My son called it the VIP room. The pool was their highlight of the day! Housekeeping came by twice a day.

The terrace resturant was not a good experience.the 1st night we called they said we could come up until 845pm.when we arrived at 8:30pm they said they just got 2 tables come in and they don't have the time to serve us. The second night we wanted an 8:30pm reservation. They told us 8pm is the latest. Their wasn't anyone at tables at 8pm but ours. No other tables arrived until at least 9pm. The food was average and the main dishes appeared the size of tapas. I would eat elsewhere. The breakfast, if it's included in the price of your room is Decent.
