Rose Park House was a lovely place to stop and rest the weary body after a long day on the road. Mary was a wonderful host. She met me as I pulled up and helped me inside to my room. She was wonderful to talk to and even offered that I could use the laundry to wash and dry my clothes instead of going to a laundromat. My room was lovely, I actually got an upgrade from a single to a double, and it was a blessing after a long day. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful where I was again able to have a wonderful conversation with Mary and another guest. All in all, my stay was wonderful. I would recommend Rose Park House to any travellers wanting to explore Derry and do it by foot as it is nice and close to the city.

NOTHING IT WAS ALL GREAT.

Rose Park felt like home. It's in a great spot—not right in the center, but there's a beautiful walk through the park to get downtown (the place is on a hill, so you get a lovely view on the way). The owner was super helpful, giving us tips and sharing some local history from his own perspective, which was really interesting. And you can't miss the fantastic Irish breakfast!

The room was super tiny, probably one of the smallest I've ever stayed in! My husband and I had to team up just to move around. If one of us needed to use the bathroom, the other had to step aside to avoid getting in the way. But honestly, we were so busy with all our planned activities that we just came back to sleep anyway :-)

First time visiting from Scotland. After a long time searching for accommodation in the city I came across Rose Park House . So glad I picked to stay here. Thomas , family & staff were so accommodating was due to stay in the single room which I was more than happy to be in but when I walked in the door they saw I was 6ft 3 & moved me to a bigger room which just so happens the room is my favourite colour which is orange. Nothing was too much trouble & made to feel so welcome in Thomas's home. Will definitely be back . The walk up the hill is we'll worth it for a great night sleep in a comfy bed . Very reasonably priced too.I wish I could give ten stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks again.

Everything was great nothing not to like .

We really enjoyed chatting with Thomas about surfing and hiking :) The music in the morning. The cosiness of the dinning room. The fact that I asked for a firm mattress and we did get a very good one for my back. Thank you so much!

Maybe the quality of the products for breakfast. But I work in the hospitality world as a chef so it is my main focus everyday to work with organic premium goods. Fresh brewed coffee would be great ;)

This "B n B" is a classic offering different rooms for rent in a large family room. It was nice to interact with the family when breakfast was served or to chat with them while checking in. They were all very friendly and helpful and very likeable. I felt I was getting a better idea of how people lived in Londonderry ("Derry").

It was convenient by car, but a little bit of a walk from downtown.

This place is the quintessential B&B, period. A beautifully restored home in Derry. Good location near the city center. Beautiful wallpaper on every surface, including the ceilings! Clean, clean, clean! Very comfortable bed-slept like a baby. Staff incredibly welcoming and friendly. Cozy dining room with a gas fire. Great breakfast- even offered pancakes! Stay here if visiting Derry.

Thomas and his family were welcoming hosts, sharing interesting personal stories of their long family history living in Derry. The house was immaculately clean with family touches, and our room and bedding were very comfortable, with a delicious breakfast in the morning. It's an easy walk into the city center down the hill on the road or thru the park located across the street. We would highly recommend Rose Park House to everyone, but most especially anyone interested in learning more about Derry history.

Our host met us upon arrival and showed us the best place to park, off the main street, near the back door. The room was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. She showed us the easiest route to the center of town. It's a 15 minute walk downhill through a beautiful park. The walk back is all uphill which could make walking back a challenge for some. Breakfast was great and super tasty. We would gladly stay there again.

Nice & friendly hosts. Thomas was very helpful in assisting us to get a car park when we arrived as there was some event nearby and the streets were packed with cars. Good hearty breakfast. We had a good conversation with Thomas, who was very knowledgeable with the Irish history. The room was equipped with a walking map of Londonderry, which was very handy.

Very warm welcome on arrival and at breakfast. Hot and fresh breakfast and freshly made cafetiere of coffee.. Very comfortable bed.

I would prefer to have the option to decide what I want to eat on the morning rather than being asked to order the evening before. Missed having a kettle in the room to make a cuppa but recognise one wasn't included in the room description.
