The resort is excellent. Good location, you don't feel overlooked and the hot tub is an excellent addition.

I have very few complaints with the resort however I did find the kitchen to be poorly equipped for a lodge that can sleep 6 people. For example the toaster and kettle were cheap, plastic items and the toaster only had the capacity for 2 slices of toast. Rather inconvenient, even for a family of four. There was also no salt or pepper, which I would expect from most self-catering accommodation. Most surprisingly there was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom room provided and was told they do not supply any more as per their policy. Meaning we had to make an unnecessary trip to a supermarket. I have never run into this problem with self-catering accommodation before.

The property was great and spacious, clean, and presentable. Cozy & the hot tub was ready for use. I love the fact that they check the water pH daily. There is no wifi facility on each lodge, a bonus as it made us bond more as family but a hassle when you needed access for few stuff, etc. Relied on good ole’ unlimited mobile data & hotspot. The lake views are probably soley for owners/members, but not too bad. The place is near shopping areas, petrol areas. Good communication with host. The location and sunset views to die for! See photos where we devour our oven kebabs & enjoyed our holiday bevs!

There is charging unit for EV, but broken. Perhaps they should think about this more as more & more users uses EV. The charging point was broken for non-Tesla cars but was told there is one on site. Also when we enquired about EV charging they said there is one for Tesla and non-tesla cars, as we have a Volvo, we were told on the day itself that it is broken- perhaps be honest in the beginning as we had to charge late night/ early morning that delayed us visiting areas nearby. Skegness, no disrespect, as it’s near Lough is not all that… we enjoyed SandiTrails beach instead.

Spacious for a family of 5, located on a quiet resort. Well equipped for a self catered break as well as a beautiful restaurant on site if you didnt fancy cooking. A few minutes drive to the town centre but far enough to be away from noises

We were moved to another lodge as they double booked the one we had originally but we're kind enough to give a money voucher off for the inconvenience. Floors in lodge could have done with a mop as found dusty and dirty in places. Not enough toilet roll provided for a family but bought some extra ourselves anyway. Hot tub was clean but very strong odour of chlorine, almost too much to be able to use

Beautiful lodge, really nicely done out. Lovely bedroom and interior deco, lovely view over the lake, especially from the hot tub.

The basin waste on the kitchen sink was blocked and was leaking underneath. No side or coffee table in the living room so nowhere to put your drink. Unfortunately we noticed stains on the duvet when the cover had been removed. There was a wedding at the hotel on the Saturday and the music was very loud til about midnight. Thankfully we were quite far away but could still hear it. I imagine the lodges near to the hotel would have had issues. Overall a beautiful lodge and we would definitely stay again.

The signature lodge was a great size - had everything we needed, was generally clean and quiet. The hot tub was perfect. The site was also quiet and well kept. A great place for exploring the Wolds and coast.

Although the lodge still looks very new in most areas, the carpet into the main bedroom is starting to look very dirty. Some of the cups and plates were not cleaned properly by previous guests, but this had not been corrected. The greeting is robotic but professional - only really focused on the £100 deposit. Most of the communication is about things you can't do, so it's not very welcoming in that sense. We'd still definitely recommend the accommodation, these are just observations for improvement.

Loved the resort and set up as a whole. Location is superb. A stones throw from Louth town which is a lovely place. Visited Mablethorpe beach, Skegness and Hubbard’s Hills nearby for a gorgeous dog walk. It was our first mini break with our dog (4 nights) so wasn’t sure what to expect. The lodge deck in lodge 1 was big enough and secure enough for our medium sized dog to run around on with plenty of space. Hot tub was great. Brilliant on a clear night to see the stars with little light pollution. The lodge was fully equipped with everything we needed, pans, crockery and utensils plentiful all of good quality. Lodge was large for a two bed which was a bonus. We ordered takeaway from the restaurant on our first night and it was really good quality food with great presentation too.

I was surprised to see carpeted areas and a fabric sofa in the lodge giving that pets are permitted. I had to report to reception the morning after check in that there were wee stains from previous dogs all around the bottom edges and corners of the sofas. They didn’t smell but it wasn’t nice to see. I think for cleanliness with pets a washable fabric/leather/faux leather would be better and also remove the carpet too and replace with a washable flooring. It didn’t spoil our stay but just wasn’t pleasant. Our dog is fully toilet trained and I immediately thought I must report it straight away in case we lost our £100 deposit assuming it was our dog. Staff said they would let house keeping know about the stains.

Situation, warm & spacious with a hot tub.

It wasn’t clean enough. Reported to reception that lounge suite was covered in stains also carpets, receptionist just said they couldn’t get stains out. Our booking was a lodge with a washing machine, there wasn’t one..Also there were dog paw marks up windows & doors! Bathroom floors dirty. Had to get guy who did hot tub to replace filter as when we switched it on noticed brown scum appearing, ( someone previously had fake tan perhaps?). We didn’t expect to have to clean the lodge ourselves, but we did the best we could with limited products we bought ourselves, put blankets on sofas & got on with it! Enjoyed it after that.

The heating was on and it was a nice warm arrival when we got there in the cold! The staff were lovely and the restaurant food was great! We had a slight problem with the heating not kicking in on the second day however maintenance quickly came to sort it out and we’re lovely about it! The hot tub was clean and they came to check the water levels each morning, we didn’t feel rushed out on our check out day even though we checked out at dead on 10am. Local amenities a five minute drive and we had a lovely mini-moon!

The fridge wasn’t quite cleaned properly and the bathroom coming off of the bedroom stunk so I’m assuming the septic tank needed changing but with two bathrooms we closed the door and used the other one! The bed wasn’t very comfy though not if you’re used to a nice soft mattress

Spacious, great location, lots to love about the property, hot tub is great & pool table a nice addition with good potential for this property to be exceptional with just a few changes, the option for food in the hotel is great for flexibility, all bedrooms ensuite is very useful, and the ‘cinema style room’ was great when weather was poor, close to local market town of Louth, the property has a good size gardens with lots of outside seating.

Some finishing touches, snags in properties decoration, just let the property down, not all TV’s have all regular channels, property would benefit from some kind of ‘ home manual ‘ of what & how things work.

Lodge very comfortable, Bed was good everything you could want supplied. The lakeside location was perfect. Site very new so will leave a couple years and will definitely be back.

Lodges are lovely. Think it should be made clear to people booking it is a new site so describe as landscaped site is a little far fetched. What grass there was around the lodges was ploughed up during the week so not very nice then. Only one lake as other dug but not filled or landscaped. Having said that will give it a couple of years then will be back.
