The beautiful location within NTVillage of Little Bollington. The wonderful reception from Michelle & Paul and the faultless way they looked after us. The well appointed bedroom was large with a proper ensuite bathroom and we had the use of the comfy lounge cum breakfast room- perfect! Lots of maps & interesting reading material. Good walking from the door straight into NTDunham Massey along the Bollin Valley Way & Bridgewater Canal - perfect. Even several hostelries for evening meals only a few minutes on foot. In truth a magical property in a wonderful position but the highlight for us were our lovely hosts Michelle & Paul!

This is difficult since we had such a super weekend and though we found no difficulty sleeping at night . A lie in may have been problematic with the occasional low flying aircraft heading for Manchester Airport.This was certainly not a problem for us as we had 3 good nights sleep.

The hosts were a very genuine and caring couple, and went out of their way to make my stay just right. I like a h to bath and this was a good feature for me as many places don’t have enough hot water. The breakfast was left out for me to have at convenience. They gave me a welcome glass of fizz and were just genuinely nice people.

Very good location. Excellent arrangement giving us independence. Everything that we required was available and more.

That we couldn't stay longer. I'd have liked to been able to state "very good" but it's not an option. I would normally think " excellent" for a hotel with all facilities ie pool, gym etc.

We enjoyed our stay at The Old Post Office, mainly due to the friendliness, kindness and generosity of Michelle and Paul. They made our stay very comfortable. A genuinely compassionate, kindly couple. The world is a better place because they are in it! Many thanks to you both - you're brilliant!

Absolutely wonderful hosts, so lovely, welcoming and warm. The room and ensuite bathroom are incredibly well equipped, the shower is great, the bed is huge and comfy, and there were plenty of spare blankets if needed, not that I did as the room was lovely and warm. Lounge was also lovely. Gorgeous location too. Absolutely wonderful stay and would love to stay again!

Lovely friendly hosts. Quiet and delightful countryside location. 3 pubs / restaurants in locality, one in quick easy walk distance. First floor spacious room with ensuite, separate lounge and dining for exclusive guest use. On site parking. Would definitely stay again.

We really felt looked after. Lots of little things thought about in order to make our stay as welcoming and stress free as possible.

A bit tight to get into the entrance to the drive.

Michelle and her partner were lovely and helpful. Very kind. The Post Office was definitely a trip back in time. It was a very enjoyable stay, and we would stay again.

My only negatives were that the whole place looked a bit "jaded". I know it was showing the place as it was in its heyday but.... Carpets and towels needed replacing. Decor needed a fresh coat of paint. A general brightening up.

it’s quiet, had a large bathroom and comfortable bed,owners and dogs very welcome and friendly if you looking for somewhere out the way and don’t want to use internet, this ideal place is for you.

I didn’t like that I couldn’t lock my door when I left to go out for the day and having to leave my things. anyone can enter when you not there. I could only lock when in the room. also broadband and tv are hit and miss as no signal.

Wonderful hosts. So helpful and friendly. We loved the breakfasts and accommodation was amazing. Bed was so comfortable.
