The public areas of the hotel are clean, welcoming, spacious and very comfortable. A very reasonable standard. The breakfast is superb, freshly cooked and plentiful. The staff are all most personable, knowledgeable and accomodating. Lift for access to rooms at the front of the hotel. Swimming pool with bookable time slots.

Booked for a three night stay. The only room available (519) was at the back of the hotel up two steep flights of stairs. Not easily accessible if stairs are an issue. This room, unlike those shown on the website, is very plain and is badly in need of a full refurbishment. The carpet is marked, TV reception intermittent. The bathroom is very dated with d amaged shower door seal, mouldy tile grouting and a 'dodgy' looking down lighter above the shower cubicle. No shelving or hooks. Very disappointing and not at all what we expected.

- In our room, wardrobe cupboard light not working. - Main shower light not working even though we informed the handyman doing job on opposite room to ours who said he would replace it. On returning to room, wasn’t done. - when we first arrived to our room we were only left 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel even though there was 2 of us. Saw the cleaner who was very helpful and provided us with more towels.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in St Annes. Food was good, although a little more choice at breakfast, e.g. pastries, would be nice. I had dinner in the hotel twice. Very good 4 course meal. I would have had it more during my stay but there is only one early sitting which I'm sure suits most of the guests, but isn't ideal if you want a more flexible day or evening. All of the staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient and certainly went out of their way to assist guests. The hotel's location is very good, less than 5 minutes to promenade or town centre and no more than 8 min walk from station. I used the hotel car park and didn't even need my car on a couple of days due to the good position. All the walking meant that the nice warm pool and Jacuzzi were very welcome!

Thank you so much for changing my single room (next to a door and a corridor ) to a quiet and comfortable and bigger room. I really appreciated the move. I had never before heard of a Mock Cruise ... what fun! I booked because the description said "Adults Only" ... but hadn't expected the average age of adults to be so high!

I liked to swim in the morning the pool was very clean. The position of the hotel was close to the beach and the wonderful choice of restaurants. The twin room was alot more accommodating with plenty of room, with the option of using the bath or shower.

The double room was very small and very basic the bathroom was also small, including a very small TV it was difficult to move around the room.

Plush hotel with great amenities including use of pool and gym. Staff very professional and accommodating. Lounge area, just beyond reception, is comfortable and a well stocked bar serves both lounge and a beautiful ballroom/ dining room adjacent. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and bed linen and towels good quality.The food is delicious! Hot cooked breakfast with fresh, quality ingredients and whilst I was there, 3 nights, I tried dinner one night and it was great value but high end restaurant standard. I have stayed there solo 4 times and each time has been a wonderful experience.

Small but clean and fairly comfortable room on top floor - a bit hot, had to have window open all the time. Functional bathroom, good wet room style shower. Pool & entertainment. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast a highlight, nice and plenty of choice. 5 minutes at most from centre of St Annes. Friendly staff.

No major issues. Stairs were steep, no lift.

The whole of the hotel on the main entrance and ground floor was tastefully done. The food was very good and the staff were friendly but professional. The facilities were also very good.

We did book a standard twin room as we were only staying for two nights. It was disappointing in that it really was small. One twin bed was flush up against the window wall with the curtain squashed between. I personally found the pillows and the mattress quite unforgiving. We should have immediately asked for an upgrade but didn't. We were asked at reception later if everything was all right. I said the hotel was lovely but that we were disappointed with the room. The receptionist said he would see what he could do, but I said as it was only for two nights and that we had already unpacked we would leave it as it was. A lesson learnt.

The room was up 3 flights of steep stairs and no lift but someone helped me with my case, even so it was a long walk to the lounge and dining room. The room itself was fine and had everything necessary. The loungexwas very comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was pure heaven but could gave done with a mini stunner to dry swimsuits

Whilst the evening meal was excellent you had to pay a set orucecwhatever you ate. I couldnt eat it all and would gave preferredca prucecscale for one, two or three courses

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great - just a very short walk to the promenade in one direction, and a very short walk to the centre of St Anne's with all the shops/restaurants etc, in the other direction. We went for the Kite Festival, which was great and gave us lots of photo opportunities (our hobby). Absolutely excellent entertainment at night too, helping to put a great end to a perfect couple of days.

There was nothing to "not like".
