From start to finish cannot fault this lovely quaint hotel. It felt like home. Sue was lovely and her husband ( sorry didnt get your name.) were very chatty and full of knowledge.Brekfast was brill all you wanted to eat, Including fruit juice yogurts. Plenty of choice to choose from. They also did an evening meal, we didnt bother as we spent most of our time out and about. But we heard it was delicious. We will deffo be back again. Also the weather was scorchio.Sending warm wishes to you both. Christine and David from good old Barnsley.

Nothing.

The staff were all really nice and very friendly, the views from the window and the cleanliness of the room were all good. We did have a good night's sleep with the noise being minimal, and I think this is more that the walls weren't made of cardboard like more modern places.

OK, tricky this as the hotel is very dated and I think a lot of it surround that. However, the old pizza that stayed for the duration, along with the old bedding and randomly all the keys to the hotel, could have found a better home than the hallways. The place also stunk of stale smoke.

Plenty parking spaces , including free on street parking . Lovely welcome from Charles, a perfect host. Professional, with a charming manner. Gave us lots of information . Lovely rooms, clean and comfortable, plenty tea and coffee etc. We didn’t order an evening meal on the first night as we were planning an evening out. We wish we had stayed in now. We had meals the rest of our stay. Freshly cooked with a good selection of starter, main and dessert. Cheese and grapes as alternative to sweet dessert. Delicious. Staff very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and if there was anything else they could do for us. Lovely lounge, lots of chairs and sofas, and TV. Great bar area , very comfy armchairs.

Mick on reception was so kind and helpful, the lady who served our breakfast went the extra mile. The lift was a little rickety, but worked well,. All in all we enjoyed ourselves. It was our wedding anniversary and very sadly it will be our last, as my husband has only weeks to live. So thank you to all for making our stay a very pleasant one.

The bathroom floor was very creaky..

We had a lovely overnight stay at the headlands hotel, the staff were really welcoming and we were given a room with a sea view and a smart tv. The breakfast was divine, and we could have as much of whatever we wanted, so finished our stay feeling content. We will definitely be returning at some point due to our stay being so relaxing and pleasant. The easy ample parking was an added bonus in such a busy seaside town.

I have nothing to add here.

We had a great stay at the headlands hotel. Staff were very friendly and were always happy to help. The hotel itself is oozing with charm, some reviews might say old fashioned and dated but we absolutely loved the nostalgic vibe of the place. The lift in particular is a real star and having the snooker table was a great addition. Breakfast was plentiful and although we didn't partake in the evening meal, they offered 3 courses for a very reasonable price. The rooms were lovely and clean, with fantastic views of the sea and the shower was powerful and very hot!

My only complaint is that guests using the lift late at night is quite noisy, I think potentially some soundproofing improvements to the door may help. The games room was a really lovely spot to relax but it could do with a little tlc, some of the snookers cues were a bit worn and it would have been lovely to have the games on, however understandable that they're probably quite energy intensive!

Very welcoming, pleasant proprietor, the decor is not modern 70 s 80s, and Retro feel and the lift with the sliding doors very unique definitely stay again, The hotel bar was a bonus music playing in the background makes a great difference, just low which was fine for everyone

Nothing the breakfast was amazing perfection very pleasant service who couldn't do nothing more to help very nice people , again low music playing which makes it welcoming at breakfast
