Plenty parking spaces , including free on street parking . Lovely welcome from Charles, a perfect host. Professional, with a charming manner. Gave us lots of information . Lovely rooms, clean and comfortable, plenty tea and coffee etc. We didn’t order an evening meal on the first night as we were planning an evening out. We wish we had stayed in now. We had meals the rest of our stay. Freshly cooked with a good selection of starter, main and dessert. Cheese and grapes as alternative to sweet dessert. Delicious. Staff very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and if there was anything else they could do for us. Lovely lounge, lots of chairs and sofas, and TV. Great bar area , very comfy armchairs.

We had a great stay at the headlands hotel. Staff were very friendly and were always happy to help. The hotel itself is oozing with charm, some reviews might say old fashioned and dated but we absolutely loved the nostalgic vibe of the place. The lift in particular is a real star and having the snooker table was a great addition. Breakfast was plentiful and although we didn't partake in the evening meal, they offered 3 courses for a very reasonable price. The rooms were lovely and clean, with fantastic views of the sea and the shower was powerful and very hot!

My only complaint is that guests using the lift late at night is quite noisy, I think potentially some soundproofing improvements to the door may help. The games room was a really lovely spot to relax but it could do with a little tlc, some of the snookers cues were a bit worn and it would have been lovely to have the games on, however understandable that they're probably quite energy intensive!

I booked a single room & was upgraded to a twin with a great view. The room had a balcony with space to sit outside. The room had a full bath, which is very rare in Blackpool. The hotel was very quiet 💚 The hotel was on the quieter side of Blackpool, so it was away from the busy areas, near the border of St Annes & very close to the beach. I would absolutely book again. Breakfast was incorporated into the price. The hotel was only a 10-minute walk from Squires Gate train station. Fantastic location ❤️💚

Located a few minutes walk south of the pleasure beach. Quieter location than closer to town which we liked. Good sized room with sea view. Good bar with lots of seating, snooker table and darts. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was very nice also.

On the first night the wind was very strong and whistled through the window all night, looks like needs new seals. But the wind was exceptionally strong, next 2 nights were fine.

Location was far enough away from pleasure beach to relax, beach literally across the road, but close enough to the pleasure beach (10 min cab ride, bus or tram) to have fun. Ticked all my boxes. Will definitely use these guys again 100% and highly recommend.

Hotel a bit dated, but has everything you need so why fix something if it isn't broken.

Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and lots to choose from! For once, poached eggs and bacon cooked to perfection and all nicely served, We also booked an evening meal there for one night and that didn’t disappoint and the bar prices were very reasonable. Tram stop opposite the hotel and easy parking for our car. We had a nice balcony too (unexpected)

When coming out of the door (not the revolving ones), a handrail on the left would have been helpful.

The hotel is run by a lovely family and the staff was friendly they made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious plenty of variety of cereal and juices and fruit tea and coffee and a good choice of cooked breakfast and toast. The room we stayed in was a sea view and very spacious with a double bed and 2 single beds had a good night’s sleep.

The only thing I will say is the rooms just need a bit of updating.

Location was great, staff were helpful but gave you privacy, didn't hear other guests while in the room. The bathroom had a bath which was a bonus. For the price it was a simple place to sleep in a nice area of town.

Bed was very squeaky, mattress had seen better days, thin pillows, room was warm. The hotel is charming because of its original design and slightly outdated interior, but the practical stuff like bedding etc made it an uncomfortable night unfortunately.

Location is ideal and tram and bus stops are minutes away if you need them. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a great choice of items - cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fruit juice etc Freshly made toast and freshly cooked breakfast items. The hotel also offers an evening meal. This was very good value for money for my 4 night stay - my second stay at The Headlands.

My stay was only for 4 nights on this occasion ☹️ I would have liked to have stayed for a few more days 😊 I don’t have anything negative to say about the hotel - it is an older hotel but still very comfortable and clean.

Everything, warm cozy feeling, friendly, welcoming staff and owners. Food was plentiful and well cooked. Free Car parking was a BIG Bonus, & being within walking distance of the Pleasure Beach was a definite plus too. Being just outside of the main part of Blackpool, meant it was lovely & quiet, & peaceful. Wonderful sea view room with comfy beds.

There wasn't anything that we "didn't" like. But maybe some biscuits & hot chocolate on the bedroom tea tray would be nice. A fan in the room, as one day/eve was very warm. As it was quite late, I didn't want to trouble the staff. They're only "nice to haves" and not essential by any means.
