Hotel is big enough to be modern and professional like a premier inn or similar but small enough to care more. Hotel is clean and modern and doesnât suffer from the Bain of my life âsqueaky floor boards and slamming doors. So top marks to the guys who done the re fit. Breakfast is class well cooked food. Staff are great.
A small point machine latte is rubbish so had tea.

What's not to like. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself is spotless and the room was a good size with a big comfy bed and a fan which we were very grateful for as it was a wee bit hot. The breakfast was spectacular, with an all you can eat buffet and plenty of tea and coffee and dinner was delicious. I had the steak and ale pie (with lots of gravy) and my fiancĂ© had the chilli cheese nachos which was meant to be a starter but was massive! Both were extremely tasty đ While we went eating Jamie very kindly went outside to take a picture of the sunset for us. Talk about above and beyond, he was just fantastic. The entertainment was great fun with bingo and lots of interaction with the children. The singer on Friday night was absolutely brilliant and really kept them busy so the parents could relax a little. Definitely the place to come if you have a young family. Adrian was a pleasure to talk with and although he was very busy always made time for us. Heather and Emily waited on us with friendly smiles and couldn't do enough for us. There's plenty of free parking in front of the hotel and in their carpark at the rear. All in all we had a lovely weekend, thank you all. Hope to see you again very soon.

Hotel went above and beyond, even before we stayed. They answered all my questions, put up banners as it was my partners birthday, were really accommodating for families and Allergies. The room was great size for a family and we had a view of the sea which was lovely. Great location very close to tram and for the airport which we required. The hotel was recommended to us and we would definitely recommend the hotel.
Only downsides were the pull out sofa bed for our eldest as it wasn't the comfiest and the parking wasn't the easiest but we found somewhere. Overall the negatives don't even come close to outweighing how lovely it was.

Perfect location, away from the hustle and only a tram ride away from all the activities, tram stop literally over the road. Very welcoming, staff excellent, room perfect for our needs for a family of four, beds comfortable, small bathroom but again for a 3 night stay it was ample, amazing shower. Hotel and rooms kept clean, itâs an older hotel so some obvious signs of age but nothing serious enough to put me off staying again. We only had dinner once and the food was good, the usual choices for kids but they enjoyed it, service was excellent. We booked breakfast for our stay and Iâm glad we did, it was wonderful, great selection of hot and cold, great to fuel up for a full day. Two well stocked bars for a beer in the evening while to kids have a dance with the singer. All in all a perfect place for us to stay for a 3 night visit with 8 & 10 year olds, would recommend. Will also add member of staff named Paul was outstanding, friendly and very helpful, a credit to the hotel.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. The staff are friendly but could do with some training. The rooms are really clean but could do with a little maintenance, they are perfectly serviceable. A couple of older staff are a bit arsey but the younger ones are super keen. the housekeeping staff are brilliant. The cleanliness is really good
Windows on front whistle when itâs windy, there was a couple of holes in the wall in the room. The WiFi was a little patchy but speedy when it worked. Just needs a bit of maintenance. But is very good on most parts. You can hear the entertainment a bit loud in the rooms

Location, opposite Harrow Place tram stop. Nicely equipped bar. Decent entertainment. Friendly staff. Adequate parking, if lucky. Really nice breakfast. I'd prefer tinned tomatoes over grilled :-)
Reception staff not appearing to be hospitality trained. If you call reception to ask "what's on the restaurant menu" and they say they "don't know, just standard food", they're not earning money for the hotel. It shows that they need training to improve customer experience and hotel profits. Noisy rooms. This is the issue with old UK hotels that there's no sound insulation between floors. Smoking in other rooms, the smoke travels through the bathroom extraction system into your room! Our room was really bad for this. Quite an intrusion really. False activations of the fire alarm. Ok if you wanted a 7am wake up, or to leave the hotel at 5pm when it's raining!

Hotel reception, Lounge, Restaurant and bedrooms are clean and tidy. Bedrooms are good size and bed was comfortable. Towels were changed daily. The breakfast is excellent.Buffet self service and a good selection to choose from. Could have as much or little as possible. The hotel is quite a distance from Blackpool tower area but there is a tram stop across from the Hotel.
There wasn't much not to like but I was shocked by the Lounge Bar prices. ÂŁ6.20p for a pint of Lager and other drinks similarly overpriced. The Lounge area was always quiet. Didn't appear to be any entertainment on during our stay but we chose to socialise elsewhere at night time in cheaper Bar's and Lounges.I expected to pay a little more as usually Hotel drinks are more expensive but The Carousel seem excessively overpriced. Hotel room and landings were very warm due to the warm weather spell. A fan was available in our bedroom as rooms don't have air conditioning. Air conditioning in Bar lounge. The Hotel is popular for Weddings.

Really friendly and super helpful staff. Well located hotel, on the sea front, opposite a tram stop and within walking distance of the pleasure beach and waterpark. Hotel is located in slightly quieter location near South pier. North side was much much busier and in peak times, would be too noisy for me. We walked up to Blackpool Tower, a fair walk, but manageable. ( with a 10 year old who doesn't like walking!) Clean rooms, good be it basic breakfast with vegetarian options available. Great if you like cooked breakfast. Hotel has a good restaurant, again with vegetarian options. Places to park (free) just off the sea front, in front of the hotel.
Beds were a wee bit uncomfortable, could feel the springs underneath. The sofa bed especially so. But after an exhausting day at the pleasure beach I still slept like a log!! Tram starts early in the morning, and woke me up on both mornings, but that would be the case anywhere along the sea front.

I booked two twin rooms, they were spacious, very clean with comfortable beds, en-suits were spotless, bed sheets and towels were changed daily, having fans in the rooms was a big bonus! Breakfast was very good, hot buffet was cooked well and was tasty, there was also a variety of cereals, various croissants, fruit, yoghurt and fruit juices. Dinner was delicious, Adrian the restaraunt manager is lovely and very accommodating, he went above and beyond, all staff were pleasant and helpful. Entertainment was good, my young granddaughter enjoyed singing on karaoki, playing a game of bingo and relaxing on a comfy chair with her tablet in the bar. If we revisit Blackpool, we'd stay here again, it's in a quiet location with a tram stop just outside to get to attractions and town centre. A big thank you to all staff who made our stay so pleasurable and memorable for all the right reasons.
I don't like those grab machines in the bar, they're just money making tools that give children very little chance of winning, particularly the one with the bigger soft toys, the bar would be nicer without them. Nothing to do with the hotel, but it's a shame another guest decided to take our granddaughters pencil case with a good variety of new pencils and other things inside.

It was easy to find, parking wasnât too bad. The staff were very friendly and helpful, couldnât do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble. The bedroom was spacious and very very clean. My wife to be is a cleaning goddess and she couldnât even find a fault. Plenty of towels, toiletries and always at hand if you needed more. The food was really delicious and a good choice for dinner. Breakfast was a buffet style and there was plenty of choice and continuously refilled. Bingo at the end of the night was made fun not just a serious game of bingo, it helps that we won haha. In all the hotel and the staff were amazing and we will definitely be returning. đ
