It was a good-sized room & a fan had been provided.. There was also a fridge in the room. The staff were very friendly & attentive. No other options nearby so we had our evening meal in the restaurant downstairs which was delicious. A private event was being held in the function room which meant we waited a bit longer for service but we had been warned in advance.

The bathroom shower head was not fixed into the guide attached to shower hose & it was awkward to position it correctly. It also leaked a bit when in use. As previous guests have stated the towels are quite threadbare but were adequate for our one night. The milk pods provided for the rea & coffee were 2 months out of date. WI-FI code provided was printed incorrectly & we had to check on the actual router to find the correct version. One of the overhead lights started to flicker so made use of floor lamp instead.

The hospitality at the Bell and Bottle is excellent - all the staff are friendly, courteous and approachable. The Indian Restaurant on the premises is also very good indeed with a great menu and cooked with care and flavour. Parking is easy and the rooms are spacious.

Although our room was clean and comfortable, some of the public areas are in need of decoration and maintenance. A tip to future guests - make sure that the double glazing is properly closed or the traffic noise is loud. I did not check properly and did not have a restful first night.

The room was bright but basic. Bed comfortable. I enjoyed the choice of breakfast and it was quite adequate. The hotel is situated in a quiet area with secondary double glazing. you could only just hear the traffic on the main road. The staff were extremely polite. Lovely views to the rear of the property and plenty of parking. Meals in restaurant were good value.

It was a bit more basic than I thought but that didn't matter too much on this occasion. A little grubby around stairs to upstairs.

The room was really good value for money. The bed comfortable and the room clean. We had a really warm welcome and the staff very helpful. There is an excellent Indian restaurant downstairs.

Would have been k no ice to have more than one pillow each! It didn’t matter to us but other travellers should be aware Check as there is an events space below. Worth checking if you need an early night. When we stayed it finished at 11 so was no problem at all. There are no lifts and quite a few stairs

Friendly willing staff. Large parking. Functional room, good shower, wifi, fridge , tea etc. Dinner in the Indian restaurant was good. Quite expensive but tasty curries. All served in tasteful and prompt manner. Breakfast was good too. Value for whole stay was good.

Bed was a double but the smallest. Bit tight! Popadoms were stale and naan was dry but curries were Good. Function room was in use so music and chat were audible but not too late.

As a contractor staying away the Bell and Bottle was great , the staff was very friendly and super helpful, the food was amazing!! for us breakfast was a little late starting at 7.30 but was worth turning up to site slightly late for a full English breakfast included in the price.

the fridge in room 2 was noisy but was no bother turning it off before bed.

Great surprise was the fantastic Indian cuisine in the evening! Great breakfast and attentive staff. Room big enough and comfortable.

Unfortunately, there was no hot water and the fix didn't work. The aircon, fridge and lamp were placed in odd places. It was passing accommodation so not a worry for me.

Nicely decorated modern room on three ground floor within one of the barns. Very quiet, my own front door opening into the grounds. Good parking and nice pub with great local food and drinks.

Quite expensive for the tiny accommodation. Small bathroom, without bath. Unfortunately when I stayed there was an issue with the boiler so there were no hot showers in the morning.

Location is ideal for a stop off. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast was 7.30-8.30. As I was the only person eating at 8.30 I imagine many of the guests are business people for whom the breakfast timings are ideal. Having said that the actual breakfast was good

Location was ideal for Henley where we were visiting. Food was excellent. Nice rural location would stay again.

Tea and coffee not replaced each day. Wet towels nor replaced and room not cleaned while we were there bur perhaps that comes with the price.
