I would highly recommend this hotel. The hotel has a really nice feel to it as soon as you walk through the door. We stayed in twin room No. 150 which was a decent size for two people and quiet. Lovely bathroom. The free toiletries consisted of liquid hand soap, shower gel and shampoo. The location of the hotel is really excellent, just a few steps to Piccadilly train station, shops, cafés and restaurants so you really don’t need a car. The buffet breakfast served hot and cold food and there’s lots of seating area for everyone.

Not so important but the TV in the room took ages to switch on and off (not sure why !)

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The Hotel’s location is perfect. It’s such a calm hotel and not noisy.

Room 102 I was bit Concerned Lady don’t know wether she was young or Old Safety Safeguard issue on the Sunday 2rd March 2025 Morning time Their was Fella passive Aggressive and very Rude and Arrogant towards her didn’t Raise the issue at the time because didn’t want make these worse in that Situation its was quite Early don’t want an bit Fuss about it I know it’s nothing off Business what goes on please can Customers be Respectful to one another .

Check-in I was welcomed by Kelsey and Ioannis and checked in by Kelsey. Their warm personalities made check-in feel like I was returning home from a work trip. The check-in was well informative and delivered professionally. Room and Facilities The room was nice and clean. I didn't get an opportunity to utilise all of the facilities on offer but was impressed with the gym set-up. Everything else.. Breakfast was great kudos to the chefs who dont usually get a shout out, but I've got to be honest, it was the morning staff working that morning that stole the show. Oliver on the front desk was lovely and built up a great rapport with me, as did Keyley and Ioannis (Ioannis pulled a Late Early shift, this was actually surprisingly nice because I had a familiar face to wake up to) Aayrushe, who welcomed everyone on Saturday morning (8th Feb) with a smile at breakfast (I'm sorry if I've spelt it wrong) but honestly all of the staff made this stay feel like I was at home and I want everyone on that shift to know that each and everyone one of them had a positive impact and to keep on, keeping on. Check out was easy. Short and sweet. I'm glad I chose Holiday Inn City Centre for my stay in Manchester. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who doesn't want to travel too far from the Piccadilly Train station. This hotel is perfect.

I don't usually get an opportunity to give my opinion on what went wrong.. I think the only improvement that could be made would be, at check out, find out what time folks might be attending breakfast, I saw how long the line gets. The staff handled it fantastically, I might add. But only to avoid anyone moaning about waiting in line for breakfast.

My overall experience of the hotel was lovely from the minute I arrived and went into reception. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was told all the info for breakfast times and location. Then told where my room and floor was. The room was a great size, but after looking into detailing of the room, it was a little disgusting due to a few dirty marks on the lower bed part, toe nails on the floor and the air con just didn’t work to my advantage. This was the only thing that put me off. But over all it was a nice hotel. Breakfast was ok.

This hotel is very centrally located for the Northern Quarter and Ancoates. The room was very spacious indeed for a standard double room. Note that I did request a twin room at booking but it was not available at check in. Great restaurant and bar which was open until after 11pm so we could get some food and drink despite a late arrival. Very good value for money.

There was not view from the room at all, but not an issue as I use a hotel for sleeping not taking in city views. The NCP that has a deal with the hotel is only a 5 minute walk, but it was quite tricky to find.

I like everything, best of the best hotel I ever booked in entire countries which I visited 🤩 the room spectacular lovely comfortable everything I need in the room , omg the view I’m in love with the view it’s ok of I sit in the bed seeing the view, super clean , super new, the staff very friendly and helpful always smiling, No matter what I say, I will not describe the beauty of the hotel, its services, and its beautiful, distinctive location,, thank you so so so so much for having us you made my holiday 💐

This is an excellent location for Manchester Piccadilly - I was arriving late (potentially very late give the reliability of English trains) and wanted to be close to the railway station. The room was nice and there was a good breakfast.

It was tedious that my electronic card did not give me access to the stairs (when going up; no problem going down), so I had to ask reception staff to let me into the stair well: I did not want to have to use the lift every time I went to my room. This is an increasing problem with hotels that actively try to prevent guests having access to the stairs.

We were impressed by the staff friendliness and also the quality/choice available for breakfast. The location was very good, as we were arriving by train which is just around the corner and it was a very short walk to the local shopping and tram line to the Trafford Centre.

The tap fixture in the bathroom was very loose (almost detached) from the sink and and this made it awkward/annoying to use. I reported it to the front desk on Tuesday evening and when we were leaving on Thursday it still hadn't been fixed. All it needed was to tighten two nuts, so it should have taken less than 5 minutes to complete.

The hotel bar was very spacious and our children had lots of space to play with their toys whilst we ate dinner and had drinks. The children loved it. Friendly staff and a pretty heart at reception was a lovely photo touch. Check in went very smoothly. Breakfast was lovely and lots of options to choose from.

We struggled with children and cases getting to and from the car park as there was no drop off or pick up zone. This was a little stressful for us as a family. Every Holiday Inns we have stayed in have pools so I told the children they could have a swim and then realised they did not have a pool.
