I love everything about this place. I love the staff, especially those who work in the restaurant when having breakfast, which are fantastic it's always a pleasure coming here it is actually my favorite hotel in the whole of Northern ireland and for someome like me who's been to over a hundred over the across the UK for business and leisure it is one of my favorites that I have been to it at least 5 times in a space of a year of been in Ireland.

I can't honestly say I don't like anything there. I think it's well located, beautiful screanery so nothing negative just positive things to say about this lovely place....

Easily the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. We both loved the traditional decor, especially the beams, booths and coal fire in the Bar. The staff were all lovely and knowledgeable when it came to allergies and advising on which options were safe or otherwise. The room was exceptionally presented and our only regret is not having tried the free-standing copper bath tub.

The room was very warm, we didn't realise the radiators are controlled by ourselves and ended up leaving them on full all night, it felt like. Ended up waking up with a sore throat and my nose running like a tap.

Friendly staff, good food and relaxing spa

Work was being carried out on the property and our room was in close proximity to this and at 9am the noise of drills and banging started. Might of been a good idea to of know this when booking or have the noise delayed until at least 10am Cobwebs in the canopy above the bed. When you’re lying on the bed looking up into the bottom of the canopy they are clear to be seen. Might be good practice to have the cleaners lay on the bed and scan the room!

Lovely place. Very old historical building with lots of character. We particularly liked the Spa which had excellent facilities. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Dinner was very enjoyable with a varied menu. A good quality breakfast with continental buffet and several a la carte hot options. Overall a really pleasant visit in a very comfortable and appealing inn in a lovely village in a beautiful part of Northern Ireland. We would definitely recommend and would be happy to return.

Bedroom was really small and quite cramped, although comfortable and well equipped. We were late booking and were not able to get a better room option due to lack of availability. Shower curtain was ridiculously close above the bath space making it impossible to shower without it clinging to you! Shower itself was however very good. Think we were in the part of the building still to be upgraded (noting the decor and carpeting on the corridor as compared to other landing areas) - so hopefully this will be improved in time as it was a bit tired. There was some occasional noisy plumbing coming from some of the adjacent rooms but thankfully this was short lived.

I loved the old and rustic feel of the hotel and the bohemian modern/chic decor of the spa. we had dinner in the restaurant and the food was absolutely outstanding, we will definitely be back to eat. the spa was small but not overcrowded. We ordered cocktails whilst at the spa and the attention to detail and the effort that went in was impeccable, we were highly impressed

although we loved our stay, we opted to upgrade for a highway room, we got one of the older rooms that didn’t match the pictures online, we were hoping for the modern grey. We found the bed far too small for 2 people in comparison to the beds in the galgorm and the rabbit. we also didn’t like the fact that our mini fridge was in the middle floor and not on a table

Breakfast seemed a little sparce no juice left and alot of having to ask for bowl for cereal etc it was only 925am and others came after us...got breakfast appeared too quick we went finished continental breakfast. Put my partner of as he has swallowing issues and the server insisted on blonking doen hot food there was no where to even place it. Ruined it abit unfortunily hidden disability I know but coming sence could have saved embarsment.

Over all it was amazing everything about this place was top tier the food, drinks etc was so amazing. On arrival we had complementary drinks in our mini bar as well as ice cubes as well. The old in was a quiet place with lots to do, including the spa and the walk ways leading down to Helen’s bay. It was very cleans and would highly recommend.

Although it is amazing the price for alcoholic drinks (bottled and draft) are on the more expensive side.

Warm atmosphere, friendly staff. The suite was very comfortable and the use of private hot tub was great to have. The Treetop Spa pool and rooms were perfect to enjoy, even in the rain. Food and service was lovely, refreshing drinks

Perhaps more choice in the menu? Would have loved a lasagne but it didn't affect our enjoyment of the meals we ordered. We were slightly nervous about properly shutting down the jets on our hot tub late in the evening, not sure what happened with it in the end... pressed the jets button until the word Off appeared on screen, assumed that was it, covered the tub and closed the door but imagined could still hear the jets going again after a while...

The Treetop Spa was unreal, bed was super comfy, we stayed in The Wee Room, don't let the name put you off it was ample space!

The only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave to go to a show! Perfect spot for sitting and having a few drinks and chilling in the pool!

Amazing real 4 star hotel. Superb character, outstanding staff, stunning food, private parking and to top it all an absolutely beautiful spa. I almost don’t want to give this hotel the review it deserves because I want to keep it all to myself ❤️

We had the Old English room which was perfect, but if I had to find something I didn’t like it would be the only partially obscure glass panels in the bathroom door 😬
