The hotel was just 5 minutes walk from the station. The breakfast was amazing, a good selection of fresh fruits and really good yogurts. I tried the full English, the first day, it was lovely but I couldn't finish it !! I went for a lighter option of poached eggs on toast with bacon/sausage, better size for me.!! All the staff were really lovely and helpful . I had a nice sized room which was very clean and kept clean every day. Overall, a very good experience, thank you !!

I felt a bit cold, there was no heating on. Coming from Spain, I'd had quite a big drop in temperature which someone from the UK may not have felt ! There was nothing else I could fault it on !!

I liked that it was close to the train station. I like the staff. I like how at the last minute they put my group in their Hotel. I liked how nothing was too much for them. I liked how all the staff were happy and pleasant. I like how they gave us plates for our evening meal. They did carry my suitcase up the stairs.

That I had go up stairs to my bedroom, all the bedrooms should be on the ground floor. I didn't like that they didn't tell us it was safe to enter the building when the fire alarms went off. That they don't have a booking on line page. The bedroom was small and it should be bigger. They was no vegetarian sausages.

Check in was easy and we received a warm welcome from the lady at reception. Our room was perfect for my little boy who has autism. Our suite had a spacious adjoining room with two comfortable single beds and a tv for him watch his cartoons while playing with his balloons. He was so comfortable he almost didn't want to leave. Breakfast was also lovely the staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was also lots of sockets for appliances and a handy storage area for jackets and shoes. This was also our little boys first ever stay in a hotel and it was such positive experience for him. We can not thank the staff enough for making this the case.

The pillows were a little thin. The one slight issue during our 2 night stay and it is more of preference than a negative. It didn't affect our stay at all.

Could have done with a lift but was a last minute booking and I forgot to ask. The lovely lady on reception offered to see if she could move some things around but I didn’t want to be a bother she also offered to carry my bag which I declined. However when I left my room key hanging on the coat hook on my door I was only too happy to let her go and retrieve it for me which she did with a smile

Staff were really lovely and breakfast excellent.

There was no top sheet on the bed and our concern was that the duvet wouldn't be washed between guests. The other problem was that there was no lock/latch on the bathroom door and as it was warm we had to have the bathroom and bedroom windows open and the bathroom door kept banging with no means of shutting the door with a latch, so we had to find something to prop the bathroom door open to stop it from banging. Apart from these two problems which may not apply to the other rooms and the lack of top sheet may have been an oversight we enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast had 4 choices of hot breakfast, fruit, yoghurt and cereal with a selection of drinks. All of it was delicious and they went out of their way to do a sausage sandwich for my husband who couldn't make breakfast. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. It was warm in the hotel

The Internet didn't work in room as stated. The room was a strange design so only one person could watch the TV.

The breakfast was excellent. Good choices and a very nice Full English. Dining area very light, clean and pleasant.

The room was very tired looking. Needed refreshing up a bit. Bathroom was dated, and again, needed freshening up. All the basics were there, except for hairdryer (for my wife 🙄). However, you get what you pay for and the rate for B&B was extremely reasonable. Would I stay there again? Hmmmmm possibly, but I’d shop around a bit more first.

I was a bit worried after reading some bad reviews but would happily come again. Enjoyed my stay at The Waverley Hotel. There's no frills but this is a proper English B&B that is clean, comfortable and the staff are welcoming and friendly. My wife had to leave early in morning but Gina prepared a Continental breakfast for her. Full English Breakfast was cooked perfectly and delicious. For the price, this hotel is excellent value. Location is ideal for many local amenities around Crewe.

The cost seems high compared to other local budget hotels like Premier Inn and Travelodge but their prices don't include breakfast. The carpets are a bit tired looking and some areas of flooring feel like it's about to give way.

The breakfast choice was good nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent

The room was literally a last minute booking needed gorba week during to problems with a house move. Unfortunately the only room available was a twin room. However, the spec didn't advise that it was actually more like two rooms so the beds were in separate ends of the room so this made it a little difficult for us

The location was perfect. We were so near to the station and the local shops too. The breakfast was delicious and piping hot. Maybe some vegge sausages would have been good too. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding very fresh possibly new. A new smart tv in each room too.

The decor was a little dated, but not that bad that it spoiled the stay or anything. It was a lovely stay.
