Quinn and the bar staff impeccable, checking in and out with the girls 10/10, the staff are a real credit to the place

The manager.. having stayed a few times now, he talked down to staff, belittling In front of us all to see, very poor management skills, when actually didn’t really seem to know much himself, Also wasn’t helpful on my previous stay, but left it, but was rude and obnoxious to me and worse my wife and little boy, Better just to deal with the great staff and perfect location, If you wish to follow up more than welcome to give more detail

I booked a king room and when we arrived we got an executive room which was lovely with huge kingsize bed, fridge stocked with bottled water, 2 cans diet Pepsi and 2 kit kat chocolate biscuits which were all replenished daily. I asked for Riverside View and that's exactly what we got looking out onto the millennium bridge lit up every night. Also received 4 vouchers for a free drink of my choice at the hotel bar and a voucher for 20% off all food and drinks too.Buffet breakfast was lovely every morning with the choice of a cooked breakfast also if you wanted it.Very clean and tidy hotel and reception smelt amazing everyday

The pillows were not very supportive when sleeping other than that I loved it

Breakfast was good and plenty of choice Overall everywhere was clean and tidy Staff were always helpful

Only one small thing the room lacks chairs for more than one person staying would be so much better if a small coffee table and comfortable chairs to relax in were in each room as having mobility problems bed is too high to sit on.

Super comfy bed Good tea/coffee facilities Spacious room with lots of storage Lovely quite location on the river , next to bridge and across from bars restaurants ect.. Lovely breakfast Always smelt nice and clean

For this quality of hotel to have such rubbish thin doors, that slam, making so much noise, the type of noise that goes right through you is beyond me. You can hear people in the corridor, the lights are always on too so light shines in, but the fact the doors slam all the time as people / cleaners move around is so off putting and annoying. Surely they can use the springs or fur around the door edge to soften the noise.

Great location right alongside the river Tyne and with easy access to the north quay, via the Millennium Bridge. Staff were excellent, especially at breakfast. They cleared tables quickly and did very well keeping the buffet items replenished on two very busy mornings. Breakfast was hearty and comprehensive.

Not impressed to find our window had no privacy net, particularly as we were situated around the inner courtyard facing another wing. Our evening meal turned out a tale of two halves,my salmon was excellent but my wife’s lasagna was just like a block of rubber and in edible. The kitchen declared the whole batch turned out to be the same. They’d obviously been blasted to long in the microwave.

I've stayed there several times over recent years and the staff are always amazing ! The room was super clean and freshened up nicely each day. Reception pointed me to a great car park as yours was full, that helped too.

I thought you could have done a bit more to support the great north runners on the morning of the run, maybe some free snacks or a drink afterwards. You double your price for GNR weekend, it would be nice if you appreciated it in some small way ? I heard other hotels were doing this, maybe you did too, but I wasn't aware of it.

Great hotel with a lovely view of the Tyne and right next to Millennium Bridge. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Lovely fresh bed linen, comfortable beds, and nice plump pillows. Breakfast was very good and we had dinner in the bar on the night we arrived. It was delicious (if not a little bit too expensive). Service is friendly. Car parking is a real bonus. We would definitely use this hotel again. It is a reasonable walk into the center of Newcastle (25 mins), but it's a nice walk.

Bathroom was a little small and the vanity area was a squeeze for two girls and all our lotions & potions!

Very conveniently located. Comfortable. Friendly staff. The bedroom was a good size, the bathroom very small but adequate. The bed was comfortable and although the hotel was full it was quiet and peaceful and we had a good night's sleep. Would certainly stay there again.

Mostly breakfast was satisfactory with the usual buffet set-up. As we had been to a late finishing party on the previous evening we didn't go to breakfast until 9.30 (it was to finish at 11.) However there was very little fruit left in the fruit dishes and no croissants or pastries left, only basic sliced bread to make toast. So we enjoyed the cooked breakfast but the rest was disappointing.

A very clean and comfortable hotel that was ideally situated for our last night in Newcastle. Staff were lovely and a credit to the hotel. We had a view of the Tyne and to see the Fog on it in the morning, was a heart warming experience for a long time Lindisfarne aficionado.

Room was quite cold on entry and took a while to warm up. The car parking at the hotel is quite limited and cant be reserved in advance. Although we were fortunate to obtain a space, we would have been quite anxious about leaving the car in an isolated location with all the contents. The pay car park adjacent to the hotel was extortionate for anything but a short stay.

This hotel is well presented, modern and the room I had was a decent size with everything that I could need for a short stay. Everything was clean and fresh and even the towels were surprisingly soft (unlike some hotels I've stayed at). The river view from my room was a bonus. I would definitely consider staying here again if I were back in Newcastle.

There is a small car park situated conveniently right outside the hotel however, if busy, I would think that it would get full very quickly. This might be an issue for some but not during my stay. The only other thing I would have liked is a walk in shower in the bathroom, which was actually well set out, as I would prefer not to have to step into a bath to get a shower. Minor really but worth pointing out.
