The good bit: - Design, style, vibrant - That's a good example how a good hotel should be done and presented. I like the suite I stayed. - High ceilings and very well use of that space. - Lights are sufficient enough and contribute to the atmosphere, - Heating was more than enough. - Hot water with a good pressure, and shower head attached to the high ceiling - that was nice. Someone did a very good job and definitely I will be coming back - I want to try and stay in all the suites. Actually I am surprised in a good way from the breakfast - it was very well presented and nice. It is very easy to get it from M5, just a mile or so from Junction 2.

And the some things to have in mind as well: - Be careful if you enter the hotel with wet shoes - marble floor, which can be slippery - Location wise is not something exceptional. If you expect stunning outside views should look elsewhere. - There is a parking situation could be a little bit tricky, but the hotel staff managed to sort it out for me. Thanks for that. - You know, we the smokers are discriminated everywhere in the UK, but a nice covered smoking area outside will be a nice touch if it made. - Be careful if you have a big/long car, as very narrow street and turns in front of the hotel (old church square).

It’s a beautiful boutique hotel in a Georgian building in a quiet area, with parking available. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the staff very friendly and helpful, especially Maria. Comfortable bed, lovely shower, good breakfast choice. You couldn’t fault anything at the hotel except the lack of cooling in this heat currently! I would definitely recommend a stay here!

During the extreme heat only one desk fan was provided, which wasn’t sufficient and when we requested another we were advised they couldn’t provide another fan and that we would have to go and purchase one from Sainsbury down the road! Also minor communication issues, where we had late checkout at 1.00pm, I couldn’t use my code to get back in yesterday morning around 11.30am, but they do have a good intercom system so I was able to get in. The cleaner wasn’t aware we had late check out, knocked and opened our room door!

Our hostess Maria was such a lovely, friendly person. She rang us prior to our trip and reassured us about parking on the street which we did secure. She was there to greet us, showed us our room, checked to see everything was okay, rang on the room phone to check there was nothing amiss before her shift finished then was on the desk and breakfast duty the next morning. Honestly, what a superwoman! She is an outstanding credit to this hotel . Our room was perfect, very interesting décor throughout this small hotel, very clean, lovely bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Can’t recommend it more highly . Breakfast was fresh, plentiful, tasty and remarkable and we had a marvellous stay. Thank you Maria.

The outside of the hotel was a little off putting but once inside it is lovely. In an unfashionable area but very quiet and safe. Walked to a local pub and felt fine.

where do I start!!! firstly, I had a telephone call the day before arriving, just to confirm that we was coming, what time we would arrive and that if we needed any help whatsoever to give them a call and they would assist us, this started things off great!! As we arrived we were greeted by a lady called Maria. I could write essays and essays about Maria expressing how amazing she is, but I’ll sum her up is a few words… BY FAR THE BEST MEMBER OF STAFF THAT I HAVE EVER MET IN ANY WORKING ESTABLISHMENT! FACT!!! she couldn’t of made our stay any more welcoming if she tried!! then onto the actual hotel.. we stayed in the Mayfair suite, you can clearly see that the hotel is designed for the guests comfort and pleasure and not for the owners pocket! It was special from start to finish, the decoration, the features, the comfort and cleanliness!! absolutely perfect!!! As it was sooooo hot, we had a fan ready in our room for when we arrived which was also great!! through the night me and my partner really needed a COLD drink so we went for a little walk around and couldn’t find anywhere open, so we went back to the hotel and I naughtily helped myself to the fridge as I was desperate, I held my drinks in the air to the cameras just to show I wasn’t stealing but actually needed it,, as I got back to my room, the room telephone rang and it was a member of the staff telling me I didn’t need to worry about holding the drinks in the air to show I wasn’t stealing, and that if I needed anything, help myself and speak to staff in morning. This was another extra touch for me as it really made me feel welcome! Overall the hotel and staff were absolutely perfect and I would highly highly highly recommend!! Only thing I would say, Is I feel this hotel should be set in the Bahamas or somewhere magical as it really was great!!! thank you for a perfect stay and we will see you again!!

A diamond in the rough. Don’t be fooled by the area (google street view) which looks a little “worn”. The Domo is a true gem. The room was very comfortable and very quiet considering we were in a ground floor room. Breakfast was amazing, try to domomeltte, you won’t be disappointed. Maria who looked after us from check in, to breakfast and a great restaurant recommendation couldn’t be more helpful. Will defo be back worth every penny.

Everything was excellent.

Great communication from the initial booking till the end of the trip. Very personable and welcoming. With only 5 suites the staff get to know the guests. We went to go and see Pink at Villa Park. You can either Uber to the venue which is roughly £15 per way (not in rush hour) or the hotel provides a travel service in the comfort of a Mercedes S Class. This costs £70 for one way or £110 for a return journey. We opted for the return journey and so pleased we did. Especially as guests before had booked taxis and they had cancelled and were left stranded for long periods of time. Also the driver (owner of the hotel) is not only lovely and charismatic, he knew Birimgham so well, that he worked out how to get out of the gridlocked traffic after the event, which enabled us to get back to the hotel a lot quicker. The service alone is enough of a reason to stay. The hotel has unique decor and provides a different experience which was great. Very thankful for being made to feel so welcome. Note to future bookers: Currently in the process of building a restaurant in the hotel :)

No air con but Maria kindly placed a big fan in the room 1 hour prior to our arrival so the room was cooler. Was dissappinted there was no terrace as stated on here. Surrounding area wasn't what we were expecting.

From the moment we turned up, to the moment we left, the service was incredible! The lady on reception, Maria, couldn't have been any more helpful. She checked us in and showed us around the room and gave us all the hotel information that we would need. The room was beautiful! Separate shower to toilet and a big closet space. The bed was huge and comfortable. The shower was amazing!There is a choice for breakfast and what time you would like it. Maria made us both a scrumptious breakfast each and accommodated us with drinks that morning. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the decor is up to date and bright and the service goes above and beyond. The whole experience was amazing and couldn't have been better.

Immaculately clean and comfortable with all the necessary items for a hotel stay. Breakfast included was excellent and accommodated our dietry needs. Maria, Ali and Dee were all exceptional hosts, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Maria booked us taxi's for our concert which was greatly appreciated. The decor and attention to detail was fantastic, daily housekeeping and cleanliness within the hotel was of a very high standard. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Will definitely be booking again. 😁❤️

Maria and the staff were lovely - looked after us really well. The self check in and check out process made things super easy. Stayed in the Hygge suite - large room with everything we need. Clean, well presented and spacious. Breakfast was lovely and convenient too - good menu, well cooked and easy to sort.

Not much really. I'd be nit-picking - better sound proofing on the door of the Hygge suite so that the noise from the breakfast area doesnt make its way into the room. The curtains were slightly too small for the windows in the room so the light came in too much. Other than that it was great.

An earlier breakfast time was accommodated without any fuss. The breakfast itself was good save for the sausage but perhaps more of a personal choice. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Check in was easy and the welcome and reception from Maria was exemplary.

I would have preferred a better quality iron in the room and dedicated car parking would be preferable. The trade off was ease of location for meetings the following day which worked perfectly for me.
