All as expected but the customer service was outstanding. Nathan, who checked me in, and later Laura who helped me with a keycard issue were all you want from a front desk person. 110%. And in the Pub/Restaurant again customer service was superb , Cianan and Holly were great, plus I had the Teriyaki Salmon dish and some wine and it was all absolutely delicious.

The only not 100% was the hot water temperature in the bath. I get that the water can’t be too hot for health and safety reason but, it needs to be hot enough and a bit above the temperature for a shower or bath, especially in the winter, to allow a bit of leeway according to personal preferences .

Breakfast was good - a wide range of food. Staff very helpful. Plenty of spaces laid out. Loved the swimming pool. Liked having no sound on the TVs. Our grandsons loved the football game in the bar and it kept them amused. The bar was pretty noisy but large enough to find a quieter space. Useful to be close to Tesco to be able to buy things we had forgotten to bring. Our stay was planned to take our grandsons to Cadbury’s World. It was an easy trip from the hotel. All staff attentive and helpful. Even the cleaner in the swimming pool went out of her way to show me round and tell me where everything was.

A quiet area, maybe, just to sit and chat. There were a few seats and tables by reception but immediately opposite the main door. My husband always prefers a bath to a shower - I forgot to even ask about whether they exist in the hotel!

Great location for lots of things to do for a mini break for me and my two children. We visited the nearby Black Country Living Museum and Bella Italia. Kids loved the swimming pool but we didn’t know until we got to the pool that children were only allowed in there until 12.00 so had we have known, we would’ve come down a bit earlier as we had less than an hour in there. Maybe let families know at check in would be useful 🙂.

We came down for breakfast just after 8am and some of the hot breakfast items were running out. Only criticism really. Food was nice and kids enjoyed having plenty of choice.

The room had good lighting, a comfortable bed, a great view of fields, sufficient mirrors & storage. There was plenty of parking, free on weekends. The shower was hot & bathroom good. The room & bathroom had interesting decor. Breakfast had lots of choice & was delicious. Evening meals were OK but you had to queue to order. I recommend Lucarelli's authentic Italian restaurant in West Bromwich. It had good service, & a saxophonist who played popular tunes. I had lobster pasta. There was a festive atmosphere with fairy lighting & tables in transparent gazebos on the lawn.

The hotel has an extensive sports centre & gym, popular with young people. I ate dinner there once, but it has a sports bar atmosphere with many sports showing on big screens, not my cup of tea. There was an enthusiastic Abba tribute night, doubtless popular with many.

We were travelling for a wedding so we only got to the hotel at nighttime and we left very early in the morning so we didn’t get to experience much. When we checked in the lady at the front desk was very friendly and the security men on duty were helpful in locating a staff member to check in aswell as it was empty when we arrived. We slept great and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was big and had loads of room to get ready in.

The lighting in the room, I found it hard to get good lighting to see in the mirror properly

Brekkie was excellent with huge choice! Comfortable bed; quiet at night. Room small but very comfortable! Loads of hangers in wardrobe area; Spotless. Hotel beautiful! Central to everything! Bathroom fully stocked with toiletries & beautiful white fluffy towels; TV in room; Daily room clean if required; Daily replacement of clean towels if needed! Receptionists lovely & very helpful.

No landline telephone in bedrooms. When friend came to collect me at hotel, reception had no way of contacting me. Ridiculously dangerous situation. When friend addressed this with receptionist she was told that it was a GDPR issue - customer confidentiality and that reception had no ability to contact guest. Likewise if there was a health emergency in the room - no way of dialling out or of contacting reception. Not happy with this and SHOULD BE RECTIFIED. Otherwise, it’s too dangerous for anyone to stay at this hotel l, if they are elderly or have health issues.

It was lovely throughout, clean and great facilities and well equipped. Modern decoration, great tv in room and comfortable beds.

The breakfast was poor, all processed, and no real coffee served just an automated bad machine. Had to keep asking for things to be filled as empty, although we were fairly early going down for it. It's a real letdown and not worth the extra £10pp we paid for it. A shame as the rest of the hotel was amazing and better than expectation, but let down by the poor breakfast..

Room, good size. Like the availability of lighting and windows blinds to do not disturb in the morning with natural light. comfortable bed and very nice various pillows. Like the restaurant/ bar area, and space available I had only toast, have not seen anything else for me to have for breakfast.

I might had an elephant above my room, as keep packing loudly through the room after 9 pm.. I requested NO EGGES on my meal and received lots smashed egg without the warning - not good if you have allergy or intolerance...

Breakfast was ok Premier inn model is much better. Location good Club room very clean, modern bed comfortable

Check in was unpersonal and self service prefer a person and desk , only one lift which was small yes there are only 4 floors but if you have a disability it’s a pain waiting around for the lift then it gets to you and it’s full . Towels were not available for pool use we were told to use the room towels only had 2 + hand towel so had to uses wet towels afterwards for shower 😩

The room was very clean, the bed comfy and warm. Decor was nice. We had a great time in the bar both nights and danced the evening away. Not enough choice for Vegans though. I paid £12 for unlimited breakfast and there was not enough. I did ask for soya milk and they were more than obliging for this. I had beans on toast with mushrooms and musli with soya milk and fruit compote. It was nice but not worth £12. I would probably not bother with breakfast in future and bring my own food and eat in my room.

My only complaint, and its not really a complaint, is the expensive unlimited breakfast just wasn't enough choice for what it was and how much it cost.
