Beautiful historic and characterful building in the centre of Dunkeld. As with all older buildings it does need a little tlc but the room was spotlessly clean, lovely clean sheets and towels. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was excellent. Breakfast was generous and well cooked. We had salmon and scrambled eggs and the pancakes

Being really picky the curtains did not fit the window and there were gaps. In the bathroom there was a product dispenser in the shower but this was empty (I had my own so no worry) but the slight let down was the cheap part used hand wash - if it was decanted into a soap dispenser it would have looked better. Didn’t fit.

Good for a stop over and great location

Lacked the welcoming feeling, although the staff we encountered were very nice. Breakfast was not good, had run out of certain breakfast items in the full breakfast and as supplies were not being replenished quickly enough, we had to ask for most things, cups, plates, sauce, bread, butter and there was no separate milk for cereal, just the 2 medium jugs of milk for the coffee and tea and they were practically empty!!! Only one table was available for 4 as the others had not been cleared of dirty crockery when we went down for breakfast at 9.30 - staff did the best they could but not good enough unfortunately - Not a great experience.

Location is excellent on the Main Street next to many cafes, restaurants and bars. Also a short drive to the hermitage walk which is well worth a visit. Ample parking in the hotel car park which was great. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and allowed my sister to check in early to get ready for a nearby wedding - thank you again! I shared a twin room with my niece, plenty of space and comfortable beds with a large TV with many apps such as Netflix/Amazon prime etc you could log into if you are already subscribed to these. A good choice at breakfast time.

The bathroom could do with some attention (106) the shower door doesn’t close, leaving water on the floor, and the toilet seat needs fixed. The window was difficult to open and close which was not ideal as the room was uncomfortably hot due to the weather. The hotel has a charm but could do with some updating in places. Overall a pleasant stay and would come back.

We stayed in a Twin Room in the Bunk house Annex (a row of cabins outside the back of the main hotel) for one night with a good sized room that was clean. The location is great. Bathroom was small but still decent! The breakfast included was tasty and had choice from a variety of options as well as a continental breakfast table you could get lighter options from in addition.

There was loud music being played in the main building the night we stayed which made it harder to sleep as it went on quite late, but this may not be every night as it was a tribute band. It is good they offer entertainment but for those who are missing out and wanting sleep earplugs might be a good thing to bring. Other than that was a good place to spend the night!

Its position in town was very handy, off street parking was easy and we could keep an eye on the car from our window. The staff were so friendly and helpful. And the building had loads of character.

The family rooms are on the top floor with no elevator so carting a toddlers luggage plus our own is a fair effort but it has a great view of the town and country side once you get there. The walls are a bit thin too so guests walking past can be a bit loud.

Great location on the way into the Highlands. Its clear that the Hotel was stunning but it needs some work. The bed was really comfortable and we had warm showers with great water pressure. Dinner and Breakfast was excellent. Staff throughout the hotel was really friendly.

The hotel needs a bit of maintenance throughout. Our room was good, although small and not dated, but the shower was unfortunately not clean and the shower head sprayed every possible direction. The shower door also didn't close properly.

We loved the area. The staff were very good especially Natalia and the manager.Breakfasts we’re excellent. Sandwhiches were very nice and prices of food and drink goid.

What we did not like. There were no guides in rooms for hotel information. No number to call reception. Very disappointed that no hairdryers in our room nor in our friends room. I waited almost an hour for a dryer my hair had dried in a mess by time it was given to my husband. The prices we paid was too high £278 for two nights. Our friends paid £180 for two nights. Same type of room with identical decor etc. almost £100 of difference. We booked through Booking .com we feel the extra is to give to them but it is too much of a difference. We stayed in the Brisbane House Hotel on 2/8/22 at £150 per night B&B the room and surroundings were absolutely beautiful in comparison.

Great central location with lovely friendly staff. We had a great room on the first floor with what looked like a new bathroom suite. Comfortable room with on trend tartan accessories and the biggest flat screen tv we have ever had in a hotel room. It was lovely and quiet at night. Breakfast in the smart newly decorated restaurant was brilliant.

Liked everything.

Everything was perfect. Was there for a family wedding, and there was 13 of us over 6 rooms. The hotel served its purpose, location, rooms, affordability and comfort. Thank you to the staff who kindly accommodated for us and made us feel welcome.

Honesty, the light in our room was orange. Every floorboard creaked but can expect this with a hotel of this age.

My utterly favourite hotel in Dunkeld. Very comfy, ioveliest of staff. Food plentiful & delicious, and staff service excellent. A very dog friendly & welcoming hotel.

Loose loo seat, and shower bulb flickering madly. ..v lucky that staff took concerns in RM 208 bathroom seriously. Both items due to wear n year, n easy to resolve. Paul, duty man
