Clean and comfortable and conveniently situated. About 5 minutes walk into the centre of Pitlochry. Enjoyed the breakfast, and the owner makes a cracking bacon sandwich!! He also knew the area well and was very helpful in advising places to see and things to do. We stayed in Room 6, which is on the ground floor, adjacent to the main house and has its own entrance, which was really convenient. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Pitlochry.

No haggis or porridge for breakfast.

I totally enjoyed my stay in Ardvane B&B. The property is very close to the main street and has parking on site which was important for me. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated, and though small i would say absolutely enough for a solo traveler and for what I personally needed for my one-night stay in Pitlochry. The bed was very comfortable and cozy which contributed to a great night's rest after a day of outdoor activities. The breakfast was generous and most importantly served with a smile in a very bright conservatory with a nice view towards the hills :)) I appreciate the owner making me a very nice latte with my cooked breakfast and in general, I would say I really enjoyed the home atmosphere and the warm welcome provided. Would love to come back again if I have a chance. Highly recommended:)

there was nothing I didn`t like :)

Short walk from station in clean and nicely decorated B&B; Sunny breakfast conservatory with separate room where you could help yourself to tea/coffee/water etc anytime (as well as tea facilities in your room). my single room was pretty and v comfy with a large single bed with crisp new bed linen and duvet - I slept v well; Had sink in bedroom which was good and shared bathroom close by which was modern and spotless with excellent shower: only shared with one other room so never a problem. Breakfast excellent and owner v helpful and friendly. Highly recommend

Few minor things: no soap in bedroom and I hadn’t taken any (but could use bathroom); tv settings not entirely clear and couldn’t navigate channels; the picture sort of went off to the side when looking at Netflix descriptions of films though film itself was fine; A motion light outside by the steps would be good for when you come back in the dark. None of these marred the stay but just some small suggestions!

Nice quiet location but only a few mins walk from Pitlochry main street. Friendly host, excellent and generous breakfast.. Very comfortable bed.

Nothing I could say I did not like, but the room was small even for a single. I had use of bathroom shared with one other room. Not a problem to me, and I must emphasise that the cost was well under that of other B&Bs in this overpriced town.

I don't like eating breakfast with strangers; Corin who was the manager, arranged for me to have a breakfast tray each morning to take to my room. This was so appreciated and made the visit super civilised (especially as I was recovering from illness when I went!).

I was on foot and it was hard to find the property as the house sign was set back; a tall vehicle was parked in front of it which completely obscured it so maybe a bigger sign out front would help!

Home from home, what else do you need? A lovely family run business, kind people, gorgeous views and a great location. The breakfast was wonderful, so much choice and lots of healthy options if you don't want your little one on bacon 🙃! And the owner kindly shared his children's toys with us which occupied my boy for hours. Oh and you get a lovely choice of hot drinks and biscuits just upon arrival, you can help yourself. Thank you lovely people, we couldn't have asked for more. Above and beyond 💚🙏

All good

We had an exceptional breakfast, mixture between a small buffet and some things made on order (in our case Scottish breakfast). We also got coffee of our choice, not only normal black coffee from the buffet. And our host gabe us some very nice ideas on what to do around. And the rooms were really nice with small details like a sitting bench in the window. We really loved the accomodation.

Not really something to complain, other than there were no more capacities for more nights on short term. ;) Seriously, we were just happy there.

Absolutely EVERYTHING! The host is fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Wonderful freshly cooked Scottish breakfast if required, eggs done as you request to perfection, or choice of continental. Great attention to the little things, like Hot Chocolate, nicely folded towels, free access to extra biscuits, milk etc. I had a shared bathroom but only one other room also shared it, and also had wash basin in my room. Very modern, quality linen. A huge bang for your buck. Lovely views from breakfast room. All in all a superb BnB!

Nothing!

We were very happy with our stay. The breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice both with the cooked breakfast and with the Continental food on offer. The Manager Colin was very obliging and pleasant.

Although we had been advised that there were steps down from the road to the property, we found them a hazard as we are elderly. However, we coped!

The Ardvane B&B was excellent, the food full met our expectations and the owner was very friendly and attentive. Would recommend this B&B to friends to use in the future as it was comfortable, spotlessly clean and in a great location.

We were more than happy with our stay at this B&B and would recommend to others to stay. Great Host and very friendly and attentive.
