Beautiful hotel/pub, the location is fabulous and the staff all lovely, friendly and helpful. We had lunch and dinner there, which were both absolutely lovely! Our bedroom was also beautiful and very clean!

Although our bedroom was lovely, the bed was very uncomfortable and we both had an awful night sleep! Bed was 2 singles joined into a double, which is fine, but they had tried to cover the join in the bed by putting a duvet or similar over the join, all this achieved was to keep moving you from the centre of the bed to the edge of the bed, it just created a slope which was very uncomfortable! Breakfast was lovely, but I had boiled eggs, which were served in a dish, I burned my fingers trying to take the shell off - why not serve them in an egg cup and make them easy to eat, maybe just a silly thing but I just didn't get it

This hotel was perfect for our little getaway on a long weekend. The room was excellent and exceeded our expectations totally. The staff were very friendly and helped us with an early check-in followed by a superb Sunday roast lunch. The staff also asked us our plans and then followed up with us about them later on, which shows a lot of individual care and attention. They really went above and beyond in terms of customer care and support. The working water wheel and surrounding area were a huge bonus as well. Atmosphere, friendliness, and quality can't be beat! I highly recommend The Old Mill Inn.

Have frequented the Old Mill Inn many times as a dining guest, but decided to stay this time, I was not disappointed. The rooms are exceptional appointed, with all the modern technologies that might confuse those that aren’t up to date! The underfloor heating for one is very efficient, but a tad complicated to control, found it very warm. Had to call on staff to show me how to put on the bedside lamps, even they had trouble! The surround music system was indeed very good, controlled by a digital screen on the wall. It is a very, modern and comfortable place to stay, not to mention the excellent food supplied in the restaurant. Looking forward to my next stay!!

On arrival we found the car park to be extremely small which would be the only criticism about this place. Receptionist was charming and very helpful and showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know - and every member of staff we encountered was pleasant and friendly. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel during our two night stay and the food was exceptional - all freshly prepared. The cleanliness of the whole hotel was really really good - some more upmarket hotels where we've stayed could learn a thing or two from the Old Mill Inn on all counts from staff, food and cleanliness.

Car park was the only downside, however we arrived at times when parking space was available.

The room we had was very spacious and comfortable with a sofa, small table and chairs. Very nice to spend a night in. The breakfast was good. Pitlochry is a lovely location if you have never been, and I would recommend the whisky tour at Blair Atholl, which is within a reasonable walking distance.

Large screens showing sport constantly detracts from the traditional pub surroundings in the main bar itself. The evening menu was very pricey, and the selection limited and poor in our view, but there are plenty of other options in the village.

Myself and my partner have just arrived home after a two-night stay at The Old Mill Inn. Our experience from check-in to check-out was brilliant. All the staff were so friendly and willing to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was very memorable. The rooms are of a high standard, very comfy, and are spotless. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis but also had an evening meal one night. The food was excellent and the live music in the evening at the weekend was also very good. We are very much looking forward to our next visit to The Old Mill Inn, thank you very much to all the staff, who work hard and bend over backwards for you.

The location is perfect… the rooms are above the pub but quiet and they are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and the bistro food was really good, as good as anywhere else in town so we didn’t have to go far. Onsite parking was great too. Entry and exit can be through the bar or a night door (24/7) straight to the rooms.

Our room got a little warm and with the window open a little cold… I didn’t try changing the heating though so no big deal.

Loved our stay in a Deluxe room, it was exceptionally clean, the bed was huge and very luxurious. The bathroom was newly fitted and spotless with a lovely deep bath, rainforest shower and local products. The staff had left some lovely truffles and a card for my husbands bday, a nice touch! Staff were super friendly, pub downstairs was nice with fairly decent food and live music and the central Pitlochry location was really good

Pretty old mill building - nicely renovated and exceptionally clean. Deluxe Double bedroom was wonderful - big, really comfy bed - didn’t want to get out! Big space, all the facilities we needed including hairdryer, mirrors, water, tea and coffee selection. Bathroom is superb - large walk in rain shower and large bath. Nice bath products. Underfloor heating. Dinner in restaurant was good. Live music after was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! Can’t fault anything and to top it off all staff members were wonderful - really friendly, helpful and always someone around to help.

Not much!! Parking could be tricky if busier but we found a space no problem. Food at dinner was good but not great.

Super cosy , room was lovely and clean. Bed super comfy room easily warmed up. Very nice cosy stay :)

My partner and I felt some of the female staff in the restaurant were nosing in on our conversation and finding amusement in our conversation. My partner noted after the meal he felt they were talking about us the whole time. As bar/restaurant staff ourself we never complain about staff however on this occasion we felt their behaviour very unprofessional and upsetting.
