We stayed in a Cabana (family studio), the accommodation was lovely and the location was amazing, surrounded by trees and hills. The blackout curtain for the bottom bed was great added bonus. I was surprised that cleaners came in every day it’s not something I would have expected, I noticed when I saw that the washing up fairies had been! We didn’t use the facilities much as we were out and about exploring the area but they all looked great. We visited Caernarfon and Harlech castles, Llanberis Lake Railway, and Zip World Slate Caverns: I’ve included some of the photos I took as we were driving around.

The upstairs sleeping area could do with some sort of curtain to block the light out. I did not appreciate the half 5 wake up call from my son who didn’t know what time it was (especially as we arrived late the night before). It’s a small complaint though compared with how great the rest of it was.

Im sure I sent this report to the venue already but it was a lovely break. I have one observation. We had breakfast every morning and were not asked for payment at the time. We concluded that this is settled on check-out final morning as is usually the case at Hotels we use. However on the final morning we were asked for payment for THAT morning only before we sat down. We explained that we had not been asked for payment on previous mornings, In the end the waitress took payment from us after the meal for all 3 mornings. No big deal but can I suggest you look at just taking payment on check-out for whatever bills have been incurred during the stay. It is a little embarrassing to be faced with being asked in the way that we were. Otherwise a beautiful location, excellent meals, clean accomodation, a real treat. We would definitely stay again.

Staff : Note that our cottage unit was located in a wider "caravan park". Reception service was available and useful. Smooth check in experience. Facilities : Inside, everything was complete and rather new. You will have all you need to enjoy your time there. For kids, there was also small play ground at the park. Hot water running great with good pressure. All top notch. Note that the cottage is located on a step-up hence you will need to take a wide stairs. In our view we were lucky since we got one of the "high" cottage with a wider view of the park. Cleanliness : Clean, and I recognised there was no shortcut taken when clean every inch of the house. Comfort : Bed and the caravan's atmosphere were comfortable and cosy. Value Money : We were travelling during autumn school holiday, and comparing other options around Snowdon, this is considered reasonable. Location : Inside the park and its surrounding - quiet and peaceful. Within Snowdown area, although most things are at least 20-30min away (normal for such a big nature park and area). Hence you must need a car on your own. Others: We are family of 4. Internet was very fast (OK for streaming). We were there exploring Snowdon and its surrounding. Plenty parking spaces. The cottage was 2 storey, hence if you have very small kids, it might not be suitable. Our kids were 4 and 6, they were fine with the steep and small stairs leading to the small 2nd floor.

The eating table has to be opened-folded each time we want to use it, other wise it will be too cramped for 4 of us.

The woodland Suite was amazing. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was stunning. The heated floor was a bonus! The location is excellent with beautiful views and lovely gardens. There is a fridge in the room and plenty of storage with iron, board and hairdryer stored in the cupboard.

Breakfast was pricey at £14 per person per day but was lovely nevertheless. We would probably head into town for breakfast next time but this was our personal preference. Other than that, everything else was amazing.

Great location for us as we was climbing mount snowdon. Quiet location and the food at the restaurant was lovely. Also the staff who assisted us was wonderful but I did not take there names.

The only thing which didn’t mark down the score but thought could be a pain sometimes was the reception. When we arrived we spoke for a few minutes before someone approached us, also for dinner we stood a little awkwardly (I admit it was a little busy but still) and finally when we was leaving we ended up leaving the keys on the desks, but I personally didn’t mark down but could see people doing so.

Great location!! My partner and I couldn’t be happier with the whole property. The cabanas lodge we stayed in was extremely clean, modern facilities, the bed was comfortable and there’s even a smart TV in the room with your own balcony to enjoy the fresh air also. It was so relaxing and it was the perfect place to stay after walking Snowdon. We also ate at the restaurant onsite and we weren’t disappointed. The food was lovely, the staff were friendly and the waiting staff couldn’t do enough for us. We had the most pleasant stay/experience I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing staycation.

Nothing. It was perfect! :)

Beautiful setting, traditional, cosy feel, staff were lovely especially the lady who checked us in, sorry didn’t catch her name! Food was amazing! I have cauliflower steak and it was delicious! Jacuzzi bath was a nice added extra! Great room facilities.

Food was slightly expensive and my main didn’t come with a side so had to order extra. The outdoor terrace bar was closed the day we went which was slightly disappointing, also could do with more heaters out there. The room was lovely however, missing a full length mirror which would have been nice, it was really hot in the room (not a hot summers day) but a fan was provided. The tv wouldn’t work on normal aerial, however we could access YouTube and Netflix.

Room was absolutely amazing with jacuzzi bath and big window bringing lots of light into the room even on a rainy autumn day. Lovely high ceilings and clean, comfy furnishings. Staff were all very helpful and attentive. Ate in the restaurant one evening. The choice on the menu was good, and the meal was delicious.

Pillows were all the same quite hard synthetic type. Would have been nice to have a softer feather or synthetic option. Staffing levels first thing in the morning were very low with no-one around on reception for answering any questions.

Me and my partner have just got home from our two night stay at Aberdunant Hall and we couldn't be happier with the service provided! We booked through booking.com a couple of months ago and a nice touch was that every so often we would receive a message from the hotel reminding us about our stay which got us more excited as the time got closer! Upon arrival, the park was gorgeous. Very easy to find with lots of signs showing you the direction so you can't get lost. Receptionist was welcoming and gave us lots of great information about the hotel and the lodge we were staying in, couldn't be more pleased with that! The staff in the restaurant/hotel were professional, calm and friendly. Very accommodating and understanding when it came to my dietary requirements, this is something I struggle to find in most places unfortunately. The food was exquisite. I had the salmon steak with new potatoes and i can say with confidence it was the best salmon I have ever had. Portion sizes compared to the price you pay for each dish was fantastic! I recommend booking a table in advance, it's worth it. Now for the accommodation- We stopped in one of their 'cabana' lodges which was spotless, spacious and very comfortable! Everything was laid out nicely, giving you maximum space in a smaller sized lodge. The beds and sofa were all comfy and easy to fall asleep on, whilst the shower was invigorating and refreshing after a long day of exploring!

I've been trying to think of any negatives to our stay at Aberdunant Hall and I genuinely can't find one single con. A wonderful stay at a beautiful holiday park, if you're considering this place, I would highly recommend it!

The location is excellent, as were breakfasts and the one dinner we had in the restaurant. Our 'Cabana' was well equipped with a good kitchenette - we cooked a couple of meals in. The decking area with table and chairs outside were a really nice feature and we had meals sitting outside.

The only thing we didn't like was the bed, it was uncomfortable. From what we could see, a King Size mattress had been inserted into a space intended for a standard Double bed - the result was 6 inches of mattress was unsupported and the bed sagged at the front edge, and the bathroom door could not open fully because of the mattress. The bed needs a proper King Size base unit. Fitted sheets would have been better because the sheets and under-sheet wrinkled up and with access only on one side were difficult to pull straight.
