A Perfect Stay at Aberdunant Hall Hotel I recently stayed at Aberdunant Hall Hotel and honestly, everything was perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful, set in a stunning location with peaceful surroundings and a charming atmosphere. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff — every single person we interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless and cozy, the food was delicious, and the entire stay felt like a breath of fresh air. I can't recommend this place highly enough — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Really enjoyed our last minute stay in a cabana at Aberdunant Hall. The site is very civilised, with lots of nature and space between properties. The cabana was up on the hill and had an amazing view! It was just big enough for the 4 of us and it was spotlessly clean. There are 4 car charging spots at the site and it worked seamlessly with the app. We had pizza in the evening which was delicious. We used the playground and the Green. All in all it felt wonderful and I would definitely book again if I was coming to Wales and there was availability.
A small shop on site would have been great! But otherwise it was perfect.

We had a fabulous corner room, glorious views towards both the mountains and the woods, with a terrific shower room. Sunday dinner (Roast) was very good, competitively priced. Breakfast was excellent, friendly, helpful staff in the dining room. The lounge area and outside patio area are first class, with great views of the mountains
The hotel probably has around 10 rooms but you need to be aware that it is located up a long drive which very effectively hides a very large number of holiday park mobile homes and more recently cabanas and lodges. That does provide alternative accommodation options. However you need to be aware that the restaurant and bar, outside patio, breakfast service are all used by non residents so it can get very busy on weekends or holidays. There are plenty of eating out options a short drive away but nothing within walking distance

Excellent location, it is not far from Portmerion or Porthmadog, lovely area. They have a one way system around the park which makes drving much safer. Great lodges, we had the Cabana, decent size shower, the blinds are great as it prevents the lodge getting too hot on sunny days. Housekeeping call every day, so all in all we were happy with the lodge. Heating works well on colder evenings and mornings.
Heating a bit noisy. Hard flooring throughout, which is great, but would be good for housekeeping to mop the floors a bit more.

Absolutely everything about this place was incredible. We arrived early and were told that our cabana was already ready and we could get in right away. The cabana was so clean and tidy and was so cosy. We were over the moon. On our first night we were unable to use the restaurant/bar as they had a private event but this had already been explained to us in an email and we were fine with that, however they had a fabulous firework display which we were invited to attend and it was amazing. After this first night we did use the restaurant for breakfast and dinner and every meal was out of this world and the service we had was incredible
Absolutely nothing! Everything was perfect

Woodland Escape Suite with spa was beautiful. It was clean and located very close to the main hotel. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was stunning, we couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was selected at time of booking, well presented and well cooked food was on offer, fabulous choice too. We ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings, the food was cooked very well and the carvery was one of the best that we've ever had. Every member of staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very special. A great place to stay, highly recommended, we will return.
A very minor comment - the robes provided in the room were a tad on the small size (we aren't huge people) and instead of cotton we would have preferred large fluffy toweling robes the type you get in a spa.

Cabana was good and spacious but the two futon beds on the high staging were not designed for adults. As you had to climb a ladder to get to the beds I did not feel that they were safe for children as it would have been easy for a child to fall from the balcony to the floor about 2.25metres high. I cannot see how they passed a safety inspection. Otherwise very well appointed. Site is in a beautiful location with waterfalls and walks
As above but there was an issue with the service provided by the restaurant/hotel. Breakfast was provided and an excellent evening meal was available but no lunchtime service, not even sandwiches. Not so much of a problem in the Cabana suites as you had cooking facilities available but for the hotel rooms it was very poor.

Absolutely stunning location ! we walked the whole grounds & everywhere you look it's gorgeous. The waterfalls are just lovely! We enjoyed friendly staff & top notch food in the restaurant. We stayed in a Cabana & it had everything you need for a short break, very comfortable in most aspects & a view to die for.
Little bit noisy heating system so had to turn that completely off if you want to sleep. Very lumpy, uncomfortable bed downstairs so we resorted to sleeping up on the mezzanine floor which is not ideal as its awkward to get in & out of at our age but a better night's sleep was had & it wouldn't put me off staying again as the whole park is amazing!

The setting was an experience in itself, though the weather prevented us from exploring it fully. Room was spacious & convenient to access (not too many stairs). Buffet style breakfast had plenty of choice. Evening dining was high quality, with lovely attentive staff - special shout out to Suman, Neil & Bowey.
Layout of the site was a bit confusing at first - a 'you are here' map/leaflet showing the one-way system would have been useful. Room was short of storage space to unpack clothes. For a longer stay, some budget options for evening meal would be good - 'fine dining' every night becomes expensive & there are no alternative restaurants in walking distance.

Location was amazing in a forest with amazing views and waterfalls on our doorstep
I booked the stay for my partners birthday and we had planned to have a meal in the hotel which it said was available upon booking however we only found out the day of our stay that the restaurant and bar closed early because of winter season which potentially ruined our plans. The staff/management were very understanding when I explained my disappointment and arranged a taxi to a nearby restaurant in the town where we had the most amazing meal. The only small thing I would say is we booked the spa suite which was amazing and offered robes but there was no slippers also which would have been nice for going between the hot tub and suite.
