The restaurant staff were efficient and helpful. The room was comfortable but in the bathroom hooks for towels near to shower would have helped. The location overlooking the river was superb. That when we were told that a function with the usual live music would not go on beyond midnight, this was exactly what happened which we found to reflect the hotel wishing to cater for all patrons.

See the remark about absence of towel hooks above. The absence of sufficient tea in room AND the failure to replace the milk in fridge, whilst having removed the half full bottle which was in fridge initially.

The room although not overlooking the river was very quiet - the beds were extremely comfortable -and the shower was fab! We attended a wedding here and the food at the wedding event was delicious

Think the staff in the restaurant seem preoccupied and not paying attention to the service? Our breakfast arrived stone cold as did our coffee, they did replace it but we were waiting forever, we were in the restaurant for an hour and 10 mins for avocado and eggs on sour dough! Admittedly, after complaining to reception they did refund the cost but, again very slow service at dinner, not sure why they weren't exactly swept of their feet?

Location. Close to river, little patio outside our Riverside Biggy was sundrenched on waking, and relatively private as river was briefly glimpsed across lawn and tree filled area. Lovely super king bed and big room. Shame we were at a wedding nearby so didn't get full benefit as only there from 22.45 to 11am - mostly asleep! Moveable two-sided magnifying mirror! Horrifying but really useful for glasses wearer! Full English breakfast lovely.

Rather impersonal service. Mean on the tea bags etc in room. Only two plain tea supplied. Decaf tea/coffee and fruit ok. Kefir pancakes for breakfast disappointing. Too thick, too many, (4× 15cm) not enough compote or yogurt.

The room was lovely. It was clean and the views from the room and restaurant were amazing. The staff were very helpful.

We had quite a lot of spiders in our room when we arrived. I think the cleaning staff should have removed them. The room was really clean but I think this should have definitely been done. We removed 4 spiders ourselves. Some we could not reach as they were high on the ceiling but could have been reached with a hoover or brush.

I really liked your staff particularly the lovely dark haired lady on reception who was very kind and attentive and looked after me extremely well. I forgot to ask her name but she was on duty Sunday afternoon 28th April and Tuesday 23rd April 2024. If you have an employee of the month award please can I nominate her for that or your equivalent. You are very lucky to have such lovely staff!

I had a room close to an outside fan and when inapoke to the lovely lady on reception referred to above she did her very best to listen and acommodate my needs. She gave me a lovely riverside view room when I returned on 28th which was such a decadent luxury - she wasn’t working this morning when i left so I couldn’t thank her in person .

The property is clean and modern. Furnished with good test. Have excellent river view from my room. The bed and pillows were excellent. Good food.

Check in 4pm and check out is 11am! You are only allowed to sleep in the room while I needed to rest and relax watching the river view. No hotel I visited before do that. The quilt was too heavy (warm) for summer. An option of summer cover would be good as many people rather not to use air conditions. Slippers are usually provided in similar hotels. To be generous with food served in the restaurant

Hotel is beautiful and the location second to none. Staff are also amazing, really helpful and go the extra mile to make sure a good experience is had.

We had a couple of issues- initially the hotel did not have our booking information (a mix up between booking.com and their system - no fault of the hotels) so they had to squeeze us in but were so helpful and moved things around to make sure we had somewhere to sleep. Our first night was a bit disturbed by the event going on and we did not get much sleep but they were able to move us to a wonderful room away from the venue and all was sorted

Check-in was very good ... we had access to the room a few hours earlier than anticipated. The location was superb ... couldn't have been better.

The room was too hot ... we had to put on the fan during the night, but that was a bit noisy. There was also some confusion at the restaurant. On booking it, I had asked Reception if the 'Celebration' menu would be available. I was told it would be but, when we got to the Coppa Club, we were told Reception had been mistaken.

We had a fantastic stay here. Our room was fabulous. My only comment would be that there is no plug socket near a mirror, to style your hair. Also no full length mirror. A solution would be to put a full length mirror outside the bathroom, opposite the wardrobe. Turn the socket by the standard lamp can be used for the hair dryer. It’s a little thing but noticeable for me. Our only negative. The room is really spacious, clean and comfortable.

Absolutely fantastic employees! Had amazing interactions with reception when checking in with Maria and when checking out with Angela. Staff in the Cafe and the Copa restaurant (Denisa and her husband) were also wonderful. I just can't say enough how welcomed I felt. Beautiful room with river view from balcony. Excellent location. I'd absolutely stay again!

Have nothing negative to say. Everything was exemplary!
