Good location for getting to/from Gatwick Airport and using the parking and shuttle bus service for an early morning flight. Pricing is good value. Hotel and room was clean. Despite reading other reviews that were not saying good things, we had no complaints about staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly and the hotel and room were clean. We had a good nights sleep and it was quiet.

Convenient location to the airport and reasonably priced. The restaurant and bar on site were a desirable feature as was the tea and coffee making facilities. Room was spacious and perfect for short stay before a flight and so the airport shuttle service was good.

Disappointed that there was a payment incurred with the airport shuttle but understand that there is a charge at airport drop-off that I am sure the cost contributes towards so a fair price.

The front desk and the breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was small, and they should have told us that there was a small very small step to get in the bathroom.

When we booked the room, we asked for one bed but the room had to bed one double bed and one twin bed. This made the room very uncomfortable and hard to move around in. Also, they need to have fans for the heat in the rooms.

We've stayed here a couple of times when flying out of Gatwick. It's clean, has a shuttle to Gatwick for residents at £4pp each way and is fantastic value for money when including holiday parking in the room rate. It's just as cheap, if not cheaper, than parking onsite at Gatwick, but this way you don't have to wake up at the crack of dawn to drive to Gatwick with all the worries of potential traffic jams AND you get to start your holiday a night earlier by staying in a hotel!

Big room, antique décor. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff, closer to airport and public transport.

Room was underground. Hotel is still being setup so there is paint all around and stuck doors.

Location excellent as Horley is far enough away from Gatwick airport to be quiet, but short drive away by hotel shuttle. Good choices at their restaurant but we went for short walk to stretch legs and ate at Farmhouse pub, lovely meal, historic building.

Website said breakfast available for fee but they don't offer that anymore. We bought fruit etc at store a few blocks away so that was fine for us. Room a bit small but worked fine for us, very quiet, clean, modern shower, good hot water.

Good restaurant and bar. Rooms are reasonable. Shuttle to Gatwick is great.

Confusion over cost of combined hotel and parking: between booking direct using booking.com; or as a package via holiday extras. The cost of the holiday extras package is far cheaper. I booked the hotel via booking.com and emailed them about parking. The hotel never responded, hence i was unaware if the extortionate costs. The hotel even said the website had old prices for parking which could not be offered because they had not responded to my email.

Cozy place, the staff were very welcoming and nice. I had to print a few things and they really tried to help. I also arrived late and wanted to drink and eat something but the restaurant had already closed and still the bartender served me a nice cup of coffee coffee even though it wasn't in the menu !

slightly more remote than I had expected and it was a bit difficult getting there from the airport. Also there was no AC in the room and the water in the shower took a while to heat up.

Classic older hotel with updated amenities, the location to Gatwick Airport is great, the Hotel provides a 10 minute ride to both terminals for £5, nice hotel Restaurant and Bar, short to a convenience store gas station store and a great local Pub.

My father stayed at the hotel before his flight back to Germany. Everybody was extremely helpful. A special mention goes to the two gentlemen at reception and to Rengin in the restaurant. I joined my father for dinner and even so the restaurant was busy Rengin took a lot of time with us. She was both patient and professionell and left us with the feeling that she was genuinely interested that we had a great dining experience. Thank you.
