This is my third stay at this hotel over the last few weeks. I was upgraded to a twin room on the Booking.com website, something that this hotel does for customers, which is a great touch. Location is perfect for Gatwick Airport with regular buses running 24 hours and taking no longer than 10 minutes to get there (the fast bus takes just four!) I have yet to try breakfast but not had the chance due to early checks outs for work. Close to the town centre if you fancy a short stroll out, with plenty of local eateries and places to have a drink. The room (number 11) was clean and comfortable and yet another powerful shower! A great value stay.

Noisy neighbours in the room next door. Why can't people keep their voices down? Also singing at 0430 in the morning! Not the hotel's fault of course but people need to show more consideration when staying in hotels!

Convenient. 10+ minute walk from station (has turns - you need to consult map). Clean tidy smallish ensuite twin room. Breakfast was basic continental. I think cooked was available for extra. Restaurant and bar was open on our arrival in evening. Good menu, good food. Cold bottled beers. Shuttle to airport was convenient and not unreasonable cost, especially given very low price for room.

TV didn't work, which I think I might have seen elsewhere in reviews? Staff were very helpful , allowed us to watch in lounge area, and offered to change rooms, which was not necessary for our 1 night stay for next day flight.

I booked a single room but on arrival, the cheerful member of staff upgraded me to a double room at no extra charge. I was advised about dinner in the restaurant, whether I needed transport to the airport (I didn't but it is available should you require it at a cheaper cost than local taxis) and to leave my key at the reception desk as I had an early check out for work, so I didn't have to wait around. The hotel is great value, very close to Gatwick airport, with all night/ day local buses running so if you are on a budget this is the place to stay. Great staff and a comfortable night's sleep. Oh and a VERY powerful shower!

There is traffic noise outside the room (number 17) but that is not in the control of the hotel, so bear it in mind if you are a light sleeper (I'm not!)

Perfect for a night before a long flight. Easy walking distance to anything one would want. It has a charming neighborhood feel with a classic kebab house around the corner. The staff was friendly and helpful, the ample English breakfast sustained me through my ten-hour flight. The shuttle to the Gatwick airport was excellent and brief. My friends have stayed here four times. The room was very quiet and the heat was great in an unseasonal cold spell.

The room cleanliness was adequate, and the shower drained poorly. But all the other pluses far outweighed these minor inconveniences.

This was really a great cottage with very comfortable rooms and beds. Nice plush carpets, warm and cosy. And super clean with strong hot shower. All the amenities you want in the room. Staff was very friendly and even lent me an adapter to charge my gadgets. Breakfast plentiful and served starting at 5:30am as I had a plane to catch. Really good location next to Gatwick. Compared to the horrible lodgings in London, this was a welcomed respite. They apparently also serve great curry but didn't have time to give it a try. Highly recommend!

I recently had a one-night stay at the Gatwick House Hotel, and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. Breakfast needs improvement, I normally would start my day with a high protein breakfast but the choices were quite limited, I would have loved just eggs or a good source of plant protein like anything with lentils. The coffee was amazing though

Extremely helpful management corrected an error on my part at check in due to time zone differences. They also provided airport travel at a better than standard fare when the taxi booked for our departure didn't arrive. The accommodation is basic but well presented and all facilities were in good working order. Breakfast was plentiful, well served and we were able to use the luggage store free of charge after checkout. I'm sure the management would meet any reasonable request quickly and try to resolve some more difficult issues.

This hotel is very close to Gatwick North terminal and close to the South, both less than 10 minutes if no traffic The quoted fare of 26 pounds by rank taxis is high, not helped by the charge to the taxi firms of 6 pounds per journey made by the airport authority.

I spent one night at The Gatwick White House Hotel for the convenience of being close to Gatwick Airport. The room was clean, the bathroom was updated, clean and fresh and the white, spotless towels were fresh and fluffly and a pleasure to use - things I could not say about several hotels I stayed at in Europe in the previous weeks and paid three times as much as the Gatwick White House Hotel. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, and my requests were happily met without delay. In addition, the hotel provide a reliable shuttle service to Gatwick Airport, which was very convenient and helpful. It far exceeded my expectations

Location and quick access by bus and train to and from Gatwick. Nice little breakfast; nice little bar in the hotel to have a nightcap. Horley is a nice little town. Had a fun evening at Foresters Pub close by the hotel.

Some staff were extremely friendly and service oriented but some were not so much so - no smiles. Bathroom fan needs replacing as it was extremely noisy. We mentioned to staff. Shower drain was plugged in our room resulting in close call in a flood in the room. Staff should be aware if they are cleaning regularly they would see this. All shower drains in all rooms should be checked.

This is the second time i have stayed here and would only stay here when in Horley. All of the staff are absolutely lovely and friendly. I arrived after a long journey and was greeted with a big smile and a free upgrade from a single room to a double room for no extra charge. Also the restaurant doesn't open until 5am and as I was leaving at 4:30am they made me up a small bag of food and drink to take with me. Which was a wonderful gesture. The hotel itelself and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I'm looking forward to staying again.
