The breakfast was fantastic but your evening meal was not so I asked what soup it was they said tomato when it came out it was a tin of chopped tomatoes and with a bit of cream that was insipid and at 5 pound 25 I though that was awfulother than that it took 3 quarters of an hour to bring it to the table a I am sorry I was not amused more staff would have been useful with a full hotel more staff change if menu instead of the same one every night and quite a price

Service in the dining room at evening meals

The refurbishments were very nice. The room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. We were very grateful for the stand-up fan because the weather was really warm that night. We appreciated that breakfast was included in the price. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Breakfast is served between 7 and 10. We came down at 9 and unfortunately the buffet contents were a little sparse - there was no bacon or hash browns and very little scrambled egg left. The single person, who was covering both restaurant check-in and table clearing, was aware and apparently the kitchen was cooking the missing items. However, it was a bit of a wait.

Great staff, spotless hotel and undoubtedly the best value around( don't know how they make any profit to be honest). Fab full English breakfast at £10 is cheaper than most cafes in Warwick and here they use way better quality ingredients and fresh ground coffee. It's also a surprisingly quiet location and I slept with windows open all the time and never woken once by traffic etc. Beds are top quality too- which is always important. Bar has decent quality beers on tap and good spirits and I did note you can order restaurant food in the bar too which is a good idea. This hotel is very near to home and one that I'll be booking for when we have all the foreign visitors next time. I'll say it again. Value for money- the best in Leamington and Warwick.

No aircon. No issue for 98% of the year. But summer may be difficult. At least the windows open fully unlike the larger groups that are chained or wired to very restricted openings. So airflow is good. The hotel is considering aircon but an investment of £500k.....I can understand the hesitancy.

Staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Told us everything we needed to know. Ordered taxi for us to go into town. Breakfast was good and plentiful waiting staff extremely helpful even brought me some fresh scrambled egg to the table when I mentioned the quality of the eggs in the serving dish were not very good. Hotel standard of cleanliness immaculate! Spotless!

The room!!! For a double room it was much too small. N0 12. Could not fully open bi focal wardrobe door which made getting clothes in and out and off and on fitted hangars quite hard. Much too hot in there only one small window in bathroom and bedroom.. Bathroom door opened into centre of small bathroom. Toilet cistern dripped all night. My husband slept with face practically touching the wall which was part of the wardrobe. He is quite tall so feet were out of bottom of bed. Not a good nights sleep. Quite a long walk into the centre of Leamington so taxi is advised. Hotel bar closed at 10.00 would have liked a drink when we returned to the hotel after our evening out

Lovely friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, comfy bed and great breakfasts. Also comfortable seating areas to sit and read in the foyer

There was a mouldy smell in the bathroom, so I had to keep the window open. The kitchen staff were noisy early in the morning and kept the door to the alley open, so I was disturbed The cleaning staff rarely made up the room while I was at breakfast, even when asked specifically to do so. Check in at 2pm was later than I would have liked

Lareg room, very comfortable bed. Breakfast outstanding and I also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant the previous night which was very good and reasonably priced.

Housekeeping needs attention at height, with a lot of cobwebs. Decor is pleasant but sparse. Expansive walls and just one picture in the whole room so very spartan and not very welcoming. Had to hunt down receptionist to checkout as they were picking at food in the breakfast room.

A great location. Free parking a bonus, streets around are free to if you cannot get into main car parks. Rooms very comfy, ours was abit warm but a fan was provided free of charge in room which helped a lot. Shower was great. Bed comfy.moots of tv channels. Tea and coffee supplied. Breakfast was ok and was hot. Dining/restaurant is under going re vamp so should looking even better when it isnfinished. All staff we met were very friendly and very helpful when we asked questions. Lovely clean hotel would thoroughly recommend for fellow travellers. 😊

There wasn’t really much we didn’t like. Just maybe a choice of eggs as there was only scrambled both mornings of our stay.

Large amount of free parking to the front and rear (plus, if needed, street parking too). The room was a nice size and the bathroom, too. Breakfast was good and regularly topped up. Dining/breakfast room was light and spacious with tables having space between them,

One can't alter how the building is but there are stairs everywhere including numerous entrance steps to both the front and rear. In addition, the corridors where our room was was littered with dirty washing bags from room changes. To be honest, this gives a poor impression although it is necessary, of course, to leave the washing bags somewhere and the new towels etc. This is minor, but the impression is not good. However, don't be put off by this, the hotel is fine and looks like it's recently been renovated.

Well situated in a very quiet location but near to all locations.Staff we’re excellent and very obliging.Access for disabled was very good and ample parking space.

Although the stay was thoroughly enjoyable I do feel that there should be more storage for clothing in the room.We stayed for two weeks and although the wardrobe space was ample there was only one drawer and the bedside cabinets for clothes storage.There was plenty of space in the room to provide a large chest of drawers.

The hotel reception was very chic and classy the staff friendly welcoming and approachable our room was clean and comfortable a lovely en suite with a large walking shower couldn't find any fault

The service at breakfast was OK once you knew what was what had to wait quite a while to be seated as noone at the entrance to breakfast room during our stay toaser wasn't available to use and quite li.ited choice on cold buffet no menu for cooked breakfast to choose from
