Lovely, mishapen Tudor property not far off 600 years old. Warwick is a historic town and as such not made for vehicles, so having accommodation with parking at the town an entrance was a relief. Despite the properties age it was dressed homely and lovely and warm. Janet was a lovely host with great recommendations about the area, very helpful and great conversationalist. 10 minute walk to town with Warwick castle immediately behind the BnB.

Nothing, it was exactly what we were looking for.

Superb! This is my second stay at Park Cottage with Janet & Stu’s warm hospitality! I love that their communication is excellent, timely and clear. There’s always a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast choices are wide ranging, freshly cooked by Stu and delicious 😋 All pictures on the site are exactly the same as when you are at the accommodation. The room I had ‘Catherine’ was on the ground floor and was perfect, with everything I could need to have a restful stay after a long international flight Park Cottage is my go-to accommodation in Warwick for its accessibility to town (5minutes walk) and castle (next door) Thank you!!

Nothing - it was perfect !!

We stayed in the well designed and well equipped annexe called the "Potting Shed" located at the back of the main house which was nice and quiet. There's ample on-site parking which is free. Park Cottage is only a few minutes walk from Warwick Castle and provides good access to the High Street with its shops and eating places. Our hosts, Janet and Stuart were very accommodating. Stuart provided us with an excellent full English Breakfast and Janet was very knowledgeable about what was happening at the Castle and recommended several eating places in the area. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommended.

It was very dark in the "Potting Shed" at night. A night light would be good!

It was a pleasure to meet out host, on arrival we opted for the Olde Worlde room, it was a quaint well appointed large room with a very comfortable bed. Lovely tea making facilities in the room and for those who still eat meat we would heartily recommend the full english breakfast with bacon and sausage sourced from a family run butcher - well cooked and delicious. The location perfectly suited our itinerary, a visit to the canal at Hatton Locks before booking in, then a short walk into the town to visit the Church of St Mary and the gardens at the end of Mill Street. We finished off with a lovely meal in Saffron Gold. The guest house is adjacent to the castle entrance for those who want to visit but for us it was a short journey to pick up the motorway to visit NEC.

Everything was fine - choosing the Olde World room meant the ensuite was cosy but how much time do you spend in there ! On the plus side there was refreshingly powerful shower tucked away inside

Georgiana room was beautiful in this original historic cottage. it had a kingsize bed and a a single in the room. Little touches like chocolate on your pillow and tea coffee biscuits in the room. it is next to the start of the castle walls and a lovely 5-10 min walk to the castle entrance shop etc. The castle was our reason for coming here and didn't disappoint. all ages will love it but as with all castles there are a lot of spiral steps to get to the good bits. we visited a few pubs but the best where we also ate was the the Roebuck. we were sent tips beforehand and an offer to park at the cottage which we did. also checked in really early as the room was vacant. the breakfast was superb hot and cold.

nothing it was perfect

The room was absolutely charming, right down to the naming of the rooms and the teddies on the beds! Clean, tidy, quiet and comfortable. Great location, within walking distance to Warwick Castle! And to top it off, Janet and her hubby (sorry, I can't remember his name) really know how to look after their guests. I highly recommend Park Cottage to anyone needing to stay anywhere in or around Warwick, UK. Such history! PS: After being out on my first day, I arrived back to find the teddy on my bed was missing, only to find him sitting in the shower with my shower cap on! Delightful <3

Park Cottage is a glorious gem of Warwick hospitality. Be you a scholar, a medievalist or just a tired person in need of a perfect place to rest. Here you will find a spacious room with an authentic wooden bed and floorboards that have more character than most of modern cinema performances. Iconic breakfast with plenty of extra options for folks who don't like bacon or mushrooms.

Alas, I was staying with amazing people from Park Cottage for one night only. Now I would like to return and take my time to enjoy the city as well.

This property was built in the 16th century. It is amazing to stay under the same roof as great men and women of past times. Janet and Stewart are wonderful hosts. The breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Janet gave lots of information about local places of interest and places to eat. They were both so interested in how everyone was enjoying themselves. We highly recommend staying here

Not a thing. Janet and Stewart go out of their way to maintain a high standard of hospitality and upkeep of the cottage

Hosts were amazing they couldn't be more perfect for a B&B. Tips on where to visit and in what order to make good time of our short trip, noted good restaurants and bar, gave us directions, etc. The location is fantastic for Warwick castle a short walk up a pathway which is beautifully lined with trees once we had finished at the castle Stuart recommended popping into town using a small doorway in the medieval wall that leads to a quaint tea room - value for money and then onto the town to explore further. Little details such as detailing the house and its history made it more special, thank you Janet and Stuart

Everything is perfect: clean, comfortable, and luxurious. Attention to detail is phenomenal: Janet and Stuart have thought of everything, from the room itself with its gorgeous decor, comfortable bed and spotless bathroom facilities; to the fantastic breakfast choices which are delicious, fresh and plentiful. They have made this historic property feel so welcoming and cosy. The location is spot-on for exploring Warwick on foot, including the Castle; or for driving to Leamington, Stratford, and numerous National Trust properties.

There is nothing to dislike!
