We stayed one night in this lovely hotel. Very clean, well equipped room with tea and coffee etc, smallish, but acceptable bathroom, although the shower was on the poor side. Lovely quiet room, as requested, overlooking the pool . We did need the fan supplied (Thank you) even with the windows open it was warm. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, included in the price was plentiful and yummy! Comfortable stay.

The bathroom was on the small side, carpet could do with a clean, generally the whole outside needed a little TLC but overall I would stay again.

Lovely welcoming and super helpful hosts Linda and Des, Clean and well equipped accomodation, breakfast made to order and was delicious. Well stocked bar, the honesty cabinet is a great idea. Parking on site which was perfect. Really short walk to village and seafront. Our room was really tastefully done out, High ceilings made it feel really spacious and such a comfortable bed with plenty of storage for belongings. . French doors leading to the garden. and pool was a bonus, need to visit again when the pool is open. Loved our stay. Georgie and Mike

I would have liked a socket nearer the mirror but that really is the only thing I can find and it really didn't effect my stay. Lovely accomodation.

This is our third stay at the Belmont and still as lovely. Nothing too much trouble. A super selection at Breakfast something for everyone. Des and Linda always make you feel welcome. We will be back again in the future.

Managed to find a gem of a hotel in Shanklin. Lovely rooms and lovely breakfast always set us up for the day. Made to feel so welcome by the owners, Des and Linda, and would recommend to anyone.

The steep hill back up to the hotel from the beach may prove difficult for some with walking difficulties but no problem for us.

We had a very enjoyable week at the Belmont. The owners were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect. Would definitely recommend and have no hesitation about booking another stay.

Linda and Des were really friendly and welcoming making every effort to ensure you had a good stay. Such a comfortable bed and quiet location. Super room. Lovely pool. Very good breakfast with a great selection of cereals and freshly prepared hot breakfast options. Secure off-road parking. Relaxing B&B we’d be very keen to return to!

There was nothing we did not like. The only points to improve were variable shower temperature and having fresh fruit at breakfast.

A very clean, well presented room. All the facilities you come to expect and need even for a single night. A very warm welcome from the host and a good explanation of the hotel layout. Keys given for hotel and room access, better than problematic technical type, which we appreciated.

Fantastic hotel very clean and tidy, breakfast iin the morning was great banging fry up to start the day. Overall a very pleasant 10 days stay at the Belmont Linda and Des are great hosts that give that personel touch making your holiday a greqt one. Will return defiently again would recommend the Belmont to anyone who wants a lovely stay in shanklin.

Perfect location to explore Shanklin made even better by our fantastic hosts Linda and Des! Friendly, funny and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The honesty box for every item you can imagine was a fabulous idea! Loved the pool,gardens and the terrace to sit and watch the world go by of an evening! Just perfect!

The hotel was extremely clean and had a warm feel, Des and Linda are great hosts and the staff a credit to them. Breakfast is first class being freshly cooked. Great bar and seating area adjacent for relaxation. Grounds looked good but didn't avail ourselves of the pool. Also a very convenient location, quiet street easy walking distance to beach and High Street

Was allocated room 3 which was well appointed and had a thoughtful welcome pack, with plenty of tea and coffee. The only downside,the bathroom was very small. On reflection should have asked if it was possible to upgrade. That said it didn't impact a great deal on our stay
